After almost 1,000 spent, it was having the same issues, but worse. I was promised that they test drove it & I could take it on the freeway and that was a lie. I broke twice after they said it was fixed. I was trying to explain what issue kept arising & the guy kept cutting me off just saying it costs a lot of money. Literally just playing around in my car & not fixing the main issue. They just made a lot of money doing maintenance & now my car had been towed back home & basically totaled. I tried to tell them it may be the fuel injectors like another mechanic said , but they wouldn't listen to me because I'm a female & just went on replacing a bunch of stuff that wasn't the problem. Im the kind of guy that is able to fix things like this but hard to do from so far away. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic especially so far away. Not only was he able to come out and diagnose the problem the same day but he was able to order parts and repair it quickly. It was a tough starter change due to the location and having to remove the manifold ect. I know because ive done it once already and its a very complex repair. The parts cost more than anticipated due to the extra gaskets and coolant needed and he still honored the original quote. We gave him extra because of all the extra work he did. He topped off her break fluid, air in the tires, gave it a once over to make sure that it was tip top shape. Also gave my daughter an education on her car. Even took pictures of all the parts and video of it running smooth. As a father it puts me at ease knowing that I can call him in the future I wish I had mechanics like him closer to me.
