The team there was professional and easy to work with- especially Sam. He was patient, punctual, listened to what I needed, helped me with financing, and walked me through the whole process. I was told this car was in immaculate condition when I bought it, I will also take blame for not opening my eyes and seeing ALL the things wrong with this car. The driver side headlight is full of condensation and only partially works that is a $800 repair I saw this when I got it (what a dumbass I was), after having my body shop look into the car deeper he also discovered that the front bumper had been repainted and possibly repaired and the back bumper was taken off and or replaced , it's loose and I need to pay more to reinstall ,the back windshield is completely scratched at the bottom , more money out the door & the fog lights are not turning on . I cant wait for my mechanic to get to it ...... I wish this was disclosed to me especially when I asked why it had been on their lot for so long . Kind of pissed off and I will not be referring anyone. I do not need a "sorry you experienced this" bullshit response , I hoped I found a honest car place and I didn't . I am speaking to my attorneys about returning this car . lesson learned. read more

Worse experience buying a car. My fiancé went when he got off work to look at a Subaru Forster. He really liked it and it was a good price so he put down some money (500 out of the 5000 he was putting down). When he got home he realized they added GAP insurance and a warranty which were almost 4K extra. When I went with him the next day to give them the other 4500 they did not want to take off either warranty and even told us "he already bought the car and had video of his driving it off the property that legitimates the sale of the car". Jimmy refused to let us cancel the sale when I looked up the law and we have 72 hours to cancel. After going back and forth with jimmy and his main boss at there Other location they took off the warranty and had us write a HAND WRITTEN agreement about canceling it. They told us it would take 90 days to cancel. Jimmy kept emphasizing how he wanted to us write him a good review...we were unhappy, did I mention I was 6 months prego? He kept asking if we were happy now that he was agreeing to cancel the warranty. He even took a picture of us infront of the car..... This is the where the horror story really starts.... When we left and went somewhere-when we unlocked the car to get back in, we found out -THE ALARM GOES OFF UNTIL THE ENGINE IS STARTED. Both keys were also not programmed to the car to unlock the car-so we could only unlock it manually while the alarm was going off...we had to pay for this to be fixed as they refused bc we "cancelled the warranty" -THE AC WAS ALSO BROKEN which we had to pay for to be fixed bc it did not get cold -THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER was cracked which we also had to pay for... And when we contacted them about the refund for the warranty 90 days later-the bank told us the warranty was VOIDED and when my fiancé called about why the money had not been sent out..they said "oh we don't have the address for the bank"....which we financed through them with there bank!!! My fiancé had to provide the address. This was a terrible experience-I still can't believe they morally sold a car with this many problems to a pregnant women, BEWARE read more

I bought a minivan from Carco Poway in July 2022. The gentlemen at the lot were lovely to deal with and they are the reason for 2 stars instead of one. I paid cash and drove away happy and was told my registration and title should arrive within 2 months. Fast forward 6 months and I still don't have my registration and title so I'm driving around with expired tags and little proof I own the vehicle, the window sticker has long since faded. Fast forward another 5 months and hours of phone call's getting bounced around all over Carco's offices I finally get told I can pick up my tags in the Chula Vista office. I pick up the tags and am told the title should arrive in weeks and by the way it was all DMV's fault (I don't believe that at all especially since they kept repeating that it was DMV's fault). Fast forward another 3 months and a family member gets pulled over and is told the license plate shows no information and by sheer luck they didn't impound the car. So off I go to the local DMV to find out what's happening and to apply for a duplicate title. Turns out the title transfer never happened and I suspect DMV wants to know how I have a registration in my name but no title and they have no record of my registration. I'm now awaiting a call from DMV to discuss the situation. I suspect someone did something shady to get me a registration hoping I would go away. read more

I saw a G Wagon and wanted to test drive it. My daughter was driving her 2018 Toyota Corolla. We had just hiked so we were wearing gym clothes. (Lulu Lemon) the salesman Stared my daughter up and down and then Stated "Well I will need to check your credit!" I really didn't have that much time I just wanted to see if it was a smooth ride. So I asked if he could just drive us as passengers. Then he looked me in my eyes and said "Do you know how much those cars cost?" We left! It was clear that he assumed since our skin is not white that we were ignorant and had bad credit. Fun facts- The G Wagon was 10 years old and had almost 200,000 miles. My daughter just graduated a semester early from SDSU, double Major, Cum Laude and I have an 800 credit score! read more
