Please see Amy, she is the best! Now I got it why she gets all good reviews. I used to be a regular customer here until I moved out of Plano but now I'm back and she will be my go to hairdresser!!! Amy is very good at what she does, very patient and passionate, she explains everything before she does anything to your hair. Yesterday I got hair colored, haircut, washed and styled - all for $135 plus tips. She did a wonderful job and I'm so glad to be back here!! Highly recommend this place!!

    Best hair cut ever!!!

Its been more than a month since my last haircut with "B" with Beyond Clips Hair Salon. I will be going out of town this weekend so I need a hair cut. I tried to make an appointment with "B" but not available so I just went there and found my second bff that saved my day, her name is Amy, she's very friendly like everyone else, did a wonderful and excellent job with my hair. If you are looking for a nice, decent and affordable $$ hair salon, Beyon Clips is the place that you can depend on. So come on down!!!!

These ladies are the sweetest. My whole family goes here. They had so much patience for my 2 year old son who was totally terrified. They also did a great job on my daughter's hair.

GREAT first experience here. Kacie is talented, and all I have to say is that she did an excellent job, especially at the price point of $15 for a men's haircut. She understands hair, particularly Asian hair. Not only is she detail-oriented and professional, she is lively and good at making you feel comfortable. She was able to follow my guidance and create a haircut that I really liked. I will be coming back! Parking is ample. The store is buzzing with activity. Pro Tip: Schedule an appointment in advance over the phone.

Before Amy chopped off my Beautiful Hair

If you like your hair don't let Amy touch it. I went for a TRIM and I said 1" to remove the dead ends. She started chopping and by the end she took 5 inches. When I noticed I told her it's too short it was too late. She asked me if I was okay with a little more and to keep my long layers well I never expected my beautiful log hair to be chopped off. She needs to work at a restaurant chopping vegetables and not messing up peoples hair. I'm extremely upset as it will take me months to grow my hair. Layers are uneven, it's extremely short and she started to "thin" it out without asking me. When I signed it I specifically wrote down Trim. It would not upset me as much if at least it was a good hair cut but it's so uneven I'm going to have another cut to fix it. I have attached a picture of my hair two weeks before the cut and the day off. Hate my hair and it's extremely uneven.

This lady right here..AMY!! I don't know who hurt her today but she was horrible, had very bad manners, and treated me disrespectfully. I usually get my haircut with Lee, however, she wasn't there so I asked if there is anybody can cut my short hair, and I got booked with Amy at 1pm. I got there 10 minutes early, waited for her. She wasn't working or anything, she let me wait until 1:17 ( her coworkers even reminded her that I'm here) and walked up to me with a mouth was full of food - said "Don't you usually get a haircut with Lee, do you want to come back tomorrow and let her cut it?" And I said no, I drove 35 minutes to get here and I agreed on the phone that someone else can cut my hair today. As of what I thought, she messed up my hair, she left it uneven on purpose. She cut in the back but didn't cut or trim in the front. One side is much thicker than the other. What kind of a haircut like that? I had to call her out because she was pushing my head purposely and kept messing up my hair. I can't get it fixed if it's too short. She started pointing her finger at me and talking trash in Vietnamese, guess what I'm Vietnamese. She said she's a hairdresser so she can do whatever she wants. Wow, I didn't know she has the power to disrespect someone. Even the manager and her coworker said that I didn't say or do anything disrespectful. Kacie had to fix my hair, and said sorry. Amy, please work on your bad manners. Do not ever think it's okay to loose a customer, I'm telling you it's added up and no one will come to you. The worst service I've ever had in my life!!

I drive 45 minutes for my hair cut because it is totally worth it. Amy does an amazing job with my hair at every visit. I am always happy with all the styles she does for me. Totally recommended! Thank you Amy!

Terry is a master when it comes to his cutting technique. I've always had thick coarse hair that…read morecan get really heavy and shapeless. Terry has a way of cutting and thinning it out so that it lays smooth and creates a natural framing style for my face. It almost changes my texture as my hair has a tendency to fall into these beachy style waves, unless I blow dry it straight. Before those waves would be half straight/half wavy due to the weight of my hair. For my thick hair girls, I highly advise to try a Japanese hair cut once in your life and see if it has you coming back. Be sure to bring an inspirational photo to help show what you are looking for. The salon is located inside Ovation Salon off of Dallas PKwy (behind Sixty Vines). He plays very relaxing traditional Japanese ( I believe) music while he cuts.

I only got a cut and it was around $60. The place is very easy to find and he works in a little suite. I showed Terry my inspiration picture and he executed it perfectly! He did go a little shorter than I originally intended but I still loved the cut regardless. Was super gentle when washing my hair. We didn't really converse during my session but I didn't mind since I can tell he was concentrated on his work. Schedule ahead if you plan to see Terry since he gets booked out about a month or so in advance. If you ever need a good hair stylist that will execute your wishes, go see Terry!

I was open to a solid full color if matching my current color wasn't possible and perhaps a trim. When I called for an Anthony mentioned in reviews, I was told he's no longer here but the other ladies are experienced. I booked an appointment and came in over the weekend. I'll admit letting someone new do anything to my hair is nerve wrecking. I ended up spending 3 hours here and paid for a laundry list of services (color, partial highlight, low lights, toner, cut, blow dry). I was shocked when it was time to pay, $350 + tip totaling nearly $400. I haven't had highlights or low lights since high school! Maybe it's a thing here, I'm just not personally into it. I really like to keep things as natural as possible and don't like putting bleach or anything along those lines in my hair. I got home and cried to my best friend trying to explain I had stripes in my hair now and they look orange. My hair is naturally curly and not a lot of people know how to blow dry or flat iron my hair properly. I felt horrible that I was charged for a blow dry because as soon as I got home I immediately got in the shower to wash all of the product out of my hair, that was put in, in an effort to blow dry it. It wasn't sectioned and blow dried or flat ironed and it felt like a mess. It was also trimmed after this, so now that I've blow dried it and flat ironed it out there is a questionable section that appears to need to be trimmed. I typically get a dry cut after a Brazilian blow out so my hair is completely straight for it. I really wanted a Brazilian blow out until I found out that would be $350! I could have flown home to my girl in LA for my roots, and a Brazilian for less than this. Call me crazy but no hair appointment should be over $800. The girl who does my color, cut and Brazilian would loose her marbles if I told her this. All in all this just isn't a style or look I like or would want to pay to keep up. I feel like as soon as I need my roots done, it would be so obvious that I needed more stripes or whatever all of this is called vs just a solid root color. I'd hate to immediately go pay for a solid color to be put over the $400 service I just paid for but at the same time it doesn't feel like me at all. Although subtle enough (which again, why did this cost so much?!?) that most may not notice, I know that I never have this done to my hair. I saw a bunch of clients coming in which is great for them but this salon isn't going to be the one for me as often as my hair grows the price for services is just outrageous compared to what I'm used to paying. I like the solid dark brown sections and I'm completely confused as to how I had all of this excess going on when I specifically booked a root touch up or solid color and trim. Sometimes you feel a bit taken advantage of when things like this happen.
