But yet I find myself here a couple times a year needing to satisfy requirements in a hurry. Whats good about Big 5 is the fairly comprehensive selection of stuff. I would say compared to Sports Authority and Dicks, its not much below their variety. So back to Big 5. Fair selection of the essential team sports supplies. Hunting & fishing basics are there. Generally whats for sale is towards the bottom end of the quality scale. But who needs high quality salmon eggs? Guns and Ammo are a more expensive than the big discount sellers, but not horribly off. Although I do not shop at Walmart, Walmart's ammo pricing is much better. I'm not a shoe whore like some, but my impression is that while their shoe selection is huge, its mostly made up of bottom wrung models. Another plus about Big 5 is that they sell fishing & hunting licenses. The staff at this White Center location is always especially nice and helpful. It's literally located inside of their production facility, where industrial sewists are working hard to create these resilient bags. As an amateur bagmaker myself, I can see the work, thought, and details that are put into each bag. And while their prices are high, the craftsmanship is worth it. They use extremely quality materials, and add extra touches that make these bags perfect for travel. For example, many of the bags have a brightly colored interior so things are easier to find. Thoughtful pockets abound, too - from water bottle pockets to tiny spots to slip your passport or other important documents. I'm excited to report that I finally dove in and bought my first Tom Bihn (a cafe bag for my upcoming vacay) - the hardest part was choosing a color, as there were so many options available. Can't wait to use my new bag, and I'll 100% be back again (or maybe online) to get a companion piece as budget allows. If you're into bags, this is a cool place to visit. Heads up: due to the shop being open to the factory floor, masks are required in this store so be sure to bring one along.

The install was super easy, and the representative was wonderful - expert installation, walk through and support. The flexibility of delivery times ad pickups was very accomodating to our trip. In the years since, I have found that the only thing I have noticed changing is that they are continuing to try and grow and provide their (incredibly affordable) services to the local community to get as many people (both kids and adults) on bikes, as possible. Every single time I bring my bike to the store, they do their best to at least diagnose the problem and give me a reasonable estimate of when I could expect to have my bike fixed up. They are incredibly transparent about everything they do, and every time they ring up the bill it comes up to be less than I expect. But it doesn't even end there! During the summer, they have a mobile truck that rides around the area to provide their repair services free of charge for the local community! I absolutely love what they do, and there is no bike shop I enjoy visiting more than Bike Works.
