I went in for work boots and came out with WICKED boots, boots that say DON'T F*** WITH ME!, boots…read morethat frighten small children and make little old ladies hobble to the other side of the street in fear. I will now relate the tale of shoe mecca: This is what happened I walked in ad went straight to the shoe are... i never did get offered help so I eventually found a nice clerk to help me and he promptly got the shoes i had picked out which i ended up hating. He asked what i was using them for primarily (restaurant kitchen) and immediately had ideas other then what I had picked and showed them too me, got me my size and was very very very patient with my picky self. Eventually he asked if i minded a boot, i said I didn't and he brought over a pair of SWAT team combat boots! Holly crap! I had never thought of using boots like this in a kitchen environment before but wow they are awesome! I was thrilled that he thought of them! Bless that kid for he has found me mecca in shoe form! I was a little worried cause they were a high boot that they might not be comfortable durring work. He told me to wear them to work and if they didn't feel good bring them back and he would definitely return them for me... i was stunned by this. Do you have any idea how much beating my shoes took today?! I spilled hot greasy water all over them, a chicken fell on one, my clutsy colleague dropped a hotel pan on my foot, i used my feet to open reach ins and coolers and to give me leverage, to break up cardboard and stomp down garbage, my feet stayed safe, cool and comfortable but wow they are dirty already so i was pretty impressed when he said he'd return them NO MATTER WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE TOMOROW! Regardless I won't be returning them but wow! The down sides to my visit were the other sales associate who did not care at all that I was also looking for quads (ie rollerskates) and pointed in the direction of the skates rather then actually showing me. The lady at teh front cared more about her nails then anything else and I actually had to wait for her to finish her (very long and boring) conversation with the other sales associate before she rang me up. I'll go back if I have a prob with the boots or to buy shoes but only from that one kid.

Usually like shopping here, but management at this location leaves a lot to be desired. The store…read moremanager is almost never around to help when customers or staff need assistance and I notice one day that the store manager spends most of her time hiding in the back chatting with her favorite employees, leaving just a single worker upfront to handle the entire floor and checkout . Even worse, it's really obvious how unfairly she treats her team--showing clear favoritism toward certain employees while treating others poorly right on the sales floor. I did ask one of the staff for her name and her name is Rachel . The rest of the staff deserves better support, and management needs to step up.

Plan accordingly. http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ Outdoor adventures keeps the guided groups small (maximum 12 people). I appreciate the small groups since this was my first time kayaking. Three types of kayaks are available: single, double or triple occupancy. Discover is an accepted form of payment. A Discover Pass is required to park at Spencer Spit. If you do not have a pass, a $10 day pass can be purchased with cash or check. There were several rangers checking passes on our visit so be sure to have a pass visibly displayed to avoid being ticketed. WHAT TO BRING - Signed Release of Liability - Bathing suit or non-cotton under layers preferred - A synthetic shirt (capilene, polypro, Under Armor, etc) - Shorts or pants made of a synthetic material (may get wet/damp) - Lightweight fleece jacket or windbreaker/rain jacket to provide warmth - Water shoes or sandals that strap on (or shoes that can get wet) - Sun hat and/or sunglasses - Sunscreen and chapstick - Water bottle - Optional; Camera, Plastic bag for wet items and change of clothing - If you have a gift certificate or prepaid voucher (such as Groupon) please bring a printed copy with you! Dorito Dan was our guide for the day. Dan was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The first hour is dedicated to introductions, procedures and safety. Be sure to use the restroom before departing. Once on the water, there is no turning back. Kayaking is great for teamwork and communication. Both are required to avoid frustration. I recommend wearing weight-lifting/bicycle gloves in order to prevent blisters. Each person in our group started getting blisters towards the end of the tour. During our 3 mile kayaking trip, we spotted starfish, seals and majestic bald eagles. Thank you Outdoor Adventures for providing a magnificent day of play while surrounded by gorgeous Mother Nature. We all plan to return in the near future for another go-around.

And their lifetime guarantee on quality and workmanship is now worthless. I brought in a very expensive wallet that the stitching had given away. They refused to repair it. If you want to overspend and have a terrible experience, buying cheap clothing, go to Filson's. Otherwise shop elsewhere.

Sizing of their clothing has always been super wonky, but with the move to making nearly every product now in China, the sizing is ALL OVER THE PLACE. Price was always high, due to (historically) domestically sourced and manufactured goods, now only one or two remaining items are manufactured in the states (of imported materials)..and yet the prices continue to go up, while the quality goes way down. Their customer service is HORRIFIC. If you have a problem you will be completely screwed!!! Weeks to respond to an e-mail. They have turned off the CC phone lines (you get a recording telling you so, and tough sh*t), the have disabled chat on the site. Local stores are NOT ALLOWED to help if you ordered on-line (they will lose their jobs if they try to help you). RUN, don't walk away. There is NOTHING good left of this once great company!! I am ashamed that I recently purchased an item from here, and also pissed that the sizing is so messed up that i cannot wear it (nor return it because CC simply ignores their customers). Next step is a charge-back on my credit card (sucks, but it is the only recourse with horribly run companies like this).
