Nothing was obviously broken but it need a checkout and some duct work. Mission accomplished! Jeremy (one of the J's in J&J) was friendly, outgoing, on time (or called/texted with updated arrival times), and knowledgeable. His prices were competitive. An interesting tidbit of information about him is that he is a certified chimney sweep as well! Who knew that was a thing? I will definitely call J&J again should I need help with my furnace or AC.

Jeremy came out and cleaned my fireplace insert, so it now looks almost new. He told me what I could do to make it work better for me, and he also checked out my heating system, including inserting a new filter. Jeremy is one of the nicest service providers that I've ever had at my house! Given that I am in the process of collecting bids for my kitchen and bath remodel, Jeremy also provided me with the names of contractors whom he recommends and has worked with. He will be following up with a quote for the additional heating system and fireplace insert work. If you need anything done to do with HVAC or a gas fireplace insert, look no further and call J & J now!

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the air conditioning system we recently…read morepurchased and had installed by your company in January 2025. As senior citizens who moved here from Canada, we wanted to ensure our home would be comfortable in the hot August weather, which is why we arranged for the system to be installed well in advance. Unfortunately, when we needed it for the very first time this month, the system failed to operate. On the first warm day (86 degrees), I turned on the unit, and it did not work. I reported the issue on a Friday and was told a technician might come on Saturday or Sunday. After hearing nothing further over the weekend, a technician finally arrived on Monday. He informed us that the brand-new condenser -- which had never been used -- was defective. He further explained that because the part was manufactured in China, it was not reliable. While we were told the part is covered under warranty, we were also told there is no timeframe for when the replacement will arrive. As of today, it has been over a week since we first tried to use our $6,000 air conditioner, and it still does not function. We are left without any assurance as to when the system will be repaired or replaced. The warranty may very well runout before we have a opportunity to use the Air conditioner. This situation is unacceptable. A business transaction works both ways: we delivered payment in good faith, and your company was supposed to deliver a working product. If my payment check had been defective, you would not accept excuses about a warranty and "uncertain timelines" -- you would charge me fees and demand prompt correction. Yet, I am now expected to wait indefinitely with no functioning system despite having paid in full. I am deeply concerned that I may have purchased a "lemon," and I believe Crocker has failed to provide the level of service and accountability customers deserve. The warranty may run out before we have an opportunity to use our air conditioner. If the replacement comes After the summer heat, what are the chances it's going to work when we need it next summer and at that time it will be out of warranty.
