I love F45! I have been attending the training studio for several weeks now and I fell in love with…read morethe style and structure of the session activities. Each activity I s divided into a go-interval and a rest-interval, such as 45 seconds on and then 20 seconds of rest before going to the next activity. Those exercises are combined into groups, or "pods". For example: Pod A consists of 8 exercise activities which are 40 seconds on and 20 seconds rest. You go from activity to activity, then to the next pod. The structure helps drive you on, because everyone is moving with you, like an assembly line. Additionally, each week and day has a theme and is never quite the same. It doesn't get boring or repetitive. You will do both strength and cardio workouts, from dumbbells and pull ups to rowing and burpees. It is very tough but despite that, you feel motivated to do as much as you can (reasonably), because the interval time is presented on multiple screens (along with continuous video of a demonstration of each exercise) and you can see the proverbial finish line. All of the trainers at the Jordan Landing location are stellar, encouraging, and challenging, while giving alternative ways to perform each activity should you have certain injuries or other difficulties. Jazmin, the GM and super-coach, is awesome. She will always remind you to go at your pace, stressing that HIIT training may be tough, but it shouldn't make you sick, cause injury, or otherwise make your body feel like it will shut down. Finally, it's important to note that at F45, at least the Jordan Landing location, fitness and strength is key- not weight loss. It is about health more than other workout methods. When you come here, you are likely so see women of all ages who are strong and work hard, not who work to specifically shape their body or lose weight. The women I train with are average-sized, tough, and completely un-intimidating. If you come here regularly, you will appreciate your gains, self-confidence built through real, athletic strength, and have pride in your accomplishments. I highly recommend visiting F45 Jordan Landing!

I might recommend it. It all depends on what activities you want to do…read more I am a Silver Sneakers member. The aerobics at this spa is med-to high-medium. I am taking individual coaching instructions, and I would rate it as poor. I have spent the last 3 months going to the VASA gym in Chandler. ARIZONA. I was ENTIRELY pleased with them!!! I RATE THE AS A 10! The aerobics instructors were tip-top, rating a 10! The equipment they used included weights, balls, sliders, and ropes! They did sets of different activities with this equipment. It was fun and beneficial to our health. For each set of exercises they did, they would tell us what body part it was helping!!! I loved it and looked forward to the sessions. Now, West Jordan in UT Now, for the coaching. It was ridiculous! I spend A LOT of money for these sessions and they lack in any way, shape, or form! The instructor has no idea what to do for each area that I would like to work on l! He would just wing it at every session. He had no idea what exercises to recommend I do. They only thing he did well was to take one minute breaks between each exercise, even if I could have done a lot more! He never pushed me to do a little better. Then he wanted me to have some water every 5 minutes. I know I need a lot of water, but please, that is too much downtime when I am paying $300 a month for this coaching. He would also take a bathroom break EVERY time I had a session with him. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND POOR PROFESSIONAL ETHICS! I am going to have a heart to heart talk with him before continuing with him as a coach. I will also tell the Mgr my feelings towards the coaching sessions.

Well seems every time I come here the pool is closed. Really super frustrating. Additionally…read moremembers here make really bone headed remarks. I know I'm overweight. Yes even obese. Beware of enrolling and bringing your kids to the Kids Academy here. The Kids Academy manager Kim…read moreisn't friendly at all. She gossips with certain staff members and club members (like Brittany S. & Katrina N.) about other staff members and club members. And her minion employee Lexie doesn't even greet guests when you enter the Kids Academy. Kenzie, another Kids Academy employee, bullies select coworkers, their kids, and members' children. She and Lexie are only kind to select guests and their children, but rude to others. Some Kids Academy employees have even quit due to bullying and mistreatment from Kim, Lexie, & Kenzie. I'll spare their names for privacy, but a couple of Lifetime South Jordan Kids Academy's SWEETEST girls working there ended up leaving due to their mental health suffering. Also, a handful of the Kids Academy staff yell at and discipline certain children over normal kid behavior. They all seem burnt out. The extremely low pay probably doesn't help. Personal trainer Rob also tells children who are aged 12+ they can't be upstairs on the gym floor without even age checking them (kids age 12+ CAN be upstairs) or contacting their parents. He's only friendly to certain staff and club members. The new GM Matt is super nice and seemingly professional. He's made a lot of positive changes since he's established his role, but he has a lot of work to do with the current Kids Academy management and staff. He's at least approachable though, unlike the former GM Bridgette who was fired for a string of wrongdoings, including illegally performing Botox on the former spa manager (they did it to each other) while at work. Some of the lifeguards and swim instructors could use professionalism training or retraining. A lot of them seem bored, unfriendly, and entitled, but they're more preferable over the Kids Academy manager Kim and her staff, particularly Lexie & Kenzie. Those three have done some illegal and just outright horrible things too.
