The name sounds so familiar I wonder if this spot used to be in the Westside Bazaar at one point. I really wanted a few things on the menu including the Mi Wonton Soup! But I ended up only getting Spicy Udon Noodles. What a delicious choice! It was packed with flavor I got the beef and it was extremely tender. Like seriously!! Yellow curry with chicken was some of the BEST curry I've ever had!! Crazy delicious. My friend had the peanut soup with tofu which was also delicious. I was here on a work trip and had some family come visit. We were in the mood for Thai food. I ordered their version of drunken noodles (can't recall the exact name) with spice level 4 out of 5. The flavors were really good, but the spice level felt pretty mild for being a 4. I also got a Thai tea, which was a solid choice and paired well with the meal. Was visiting my partner in Buffalo for the week and was looking for a good Thai spot to fulfill a craving. We decided on Bamboo Ridge which was in Allentown and close to our hotel, I personally had the friend egg noodles with chicken at a 4 level spice and it was very good! My partner liked his drunken noodles and well and we both enjoyed the Thai tea as well! The place has a few tables inside and we saw plenty of people coming in for take out as well throughout our dinner. We had steamed dumplings, summer rolls, crab Rangoon, beef pad kee mao, Pork and stir fried eggplant,and the mango sticky rice. Everything was fresh, herbal, spicy, and overall delicious. I stopped in here for lunch on a cold day with a friend. We were the only ones when we walked in but must've just beat the lunch rush cause then two more tables came in as we were eating, not to mention a lot of to-go orders. Their menu is pretty big and they have a lot of offerings. I decided to go with the banh mi and see how it compared to others I have recently tried in Buffalo. It was good! The bread and toppings were flavorful and tasty. The beef was good but not as flavorful as others I have had. It felt like it was just a touch off on the taste. I also opted for the side of fried rice. That was really good too! We split an order of the crag rangoon because I can never not order it if I see it on the menu. It was cooked perfectly. The crab mixture inside was excellent and it packed all the flavor you expect from a good rangoon. The space is a decent size. Small enough to feel cozy but big enough to fit a big group if needed. Glad to see a new Asian food option in Allentown and stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed! I got the Pad Thai with chicken and my friend and I split an order of Crab Rangoon. The pad Thai was perfectly cooked and the spice level hit just right for me. Plenty of leftovers as well, as it was a generous portion. The Crab Rangoons were also really yummy and I really like the dip sauce that came with. It wasn't very busy when we got there for lunchtime, so orders came up fairly quick and there's a small amount of seating inside if you do want to dine in. This place has mix of Vietnamese, Thai, and Burmese dishes. The tofu banh mi were excellent, very saucy, and even come with avocado. The crispy eggplant rice dish came with the battered fried eggplant on the side. I saw them spooning the curry into the container and knew it would still be piping hot by the time I got home, and it was. The samosas were great. Loved everything and will definitely be ordering again - looking forward to vegan tea leaf salad and some noodle dishes. When you order online, "vegan" is an option for every dish when you scroll down, but the print menu clearly states what has vegan options and what is gluten free. read more

I got the Pad see ew (flat noodles) and my friend got the Thai basil fried rice and they were both just ok. I would have preferred more flavor and spice to my dish which wasn't there despite me asking for "spicy". The place was clean and the service was normal for rush hour. It was a decent experience but I don't see myself going back just because there are so many better options in the area. read more

I have been coming here since opening day. At first, I loved the food, even though parking is always a nightmare. Unfortunately, I've become increasingly disappointed over time.Many dishes now contain an excessive amount of fish sauce, making them incredibly salty. While I consistently ask for modifications to tone it down, the kitchen either pushes back or ignores the request entirely. Last night was a mixed bag. The chicken yellow curry tasted quite good, though the chicken was sliced so thinly that it ended up overcooked. However, the tofu green curry was genuinely bad--so overwhelmed by fish sauce and salt that it was completely inedible. We also ordered the samosas (which usually come in a set of three and are excellent), but this time they were overcooked to the point of splitting open from the fryer. It is incredibly disappointing to see the decline in quality, but I think it is finally time for me to move on. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in town. The penang and mango curry's are spectacular. It's a small place but the food is great.

We walked in to order take out, ordered several things which took awhile to prepare (bout 1/2 hour) after getting back home we found they forgot an item. ( check order before you leave). The pad Thai and yellow curry were tasty but the papaya salad did not that like papaya. Decor is dated could use a make over for sure it's a small joint for eat ins with only about 6-7 tables. read more

This is a great addition to the Allentown and downtown Buffalo area. Variety of asian dishes featuring what tasted like handmade noodles and curries. The Tom Kha was deliciously creamy and balanced well between spice and coconut. The green curry was a hit. It had great texture, a delicious veggie and chicken filing and once again a balanced spice profile. The Pad See Ew was also great and had the right amount of sauce and fillings. I went back recently with three friends. We ate in and everyone loved their meal. The appetizers were very good. The Todu Todd is soft tofu with a very light coating and deep fried, served piping hot with a peanut dipping sauce. It was excellent. Two of us had noodle dishes, one a fried rice dish, and one the crispy eggplant. All were really fresh and clearly had just left the stove. The space is really pleasant and comfortable.
