Well, I never got to experience their food and probably never will... This place is also a UPS delivery access point and when I wasn't home to receive my overnighted delivery, UPS decided to send it there for me to pick it up. I called in and the gentleman answering the phone told me he physically had the package. I came in the next day and he couldn't find it. Even though I was there before any other customers he wouldn't try to help me and find my package. To be honest he barely looked the first time. I asked him to please help me as I had to leave for work, tried to appeal to his sense of kindness (if he had one) and he said he had to take care of his customers, so I'm not one? He told me I wasn't, that he didn't work for UPS and that UPS just decided to deliver their packages here and that I'd have to wait... lol... like the restaurant doesn't get a cut or the foot traffic from this... He took care of 4 people coming in after me. Finally after 25 minutes of wait, I had to leave the restaurant without my package. As a former mystery shopper, I had plenty of time to observe a few things and here are the 3 things for you to remember: - the food looked good and fresh, but I will never get to enjoy it, as I am never coming back there, one bad experience is sometimes all you need, give it a shot, it was appetizing, I had a solid 25 minutes of watching him cook, and I was hungry. - they seem to be understaffed and disorganized, several people who were in the restaurant had placed orders over the phone, only to find out that he didn't actually cook them upon arriving to the restaurant - I understand the UPS concept of delivering packages to a local business, wether the compensation is monetary or direct foot traffic/advertising, and I'm not against it either, as I mentioned previously, I was really thinking of coming back another day to try some of that delicious looking food, with also a relatively inexpensive menu, but the concept only works if you treat those people picking up their packages as customers. Now I'm unhappy about 2 companies... lol... What that restaurant failed to realize is that UPS customers picking up their packages there could be potential customers. - Upon entering the restaurant, I wished I had ordered some food to go as well, upon leaving the restaurant I knew that it wouldn't have made a difference anyway, I would have had to walk out not only without my package but without my food either as he only knew how to take orders over the phone, not cook them, which is really the most important part, the cooking part of the order... I went to this placed based on a promotional certificate. The terms and conditions of the certificate stated the discount should be applied on the total before taxes. The owner advised me if I used the coupon an automatic 18% tip would be included on the total bill before the certificate discount would be applied, just for using the coupon. The terms and conditions clearly state taxes and tips are not added. The food was a carry-out, so why was a 18% tip added. My total bill was, surprisingly, overinflated. When I expressed to the owner he was not adhering to the T&C of the certificate and over-billed me, he was nonchalant. I would never eat here. Save yourself the trouble and don't go. You know what? I'm going to take the blame for this one... I had my head and heart all set for a burger and allowed myself to sucker MYSELF into ordering a "healthier option" once I looked at the menu. Despite my craving for a burger, I ordered the salmon stir fry and it was just an awful decision. You get to choose your own veggies for the stir fry and its a good option in theory, but the lack of any type of seasoning is just a killer for any menu option. The piece of salmon was cooked way too long and was just a dry hunk of tasteless nothing... The rice and veggies just took up space. They get 3 stars because I should've known better than to order salmon stir fry at a burger joint. Great location in the middle of downtown East Point with convenient parking. I ordered over the phone a pick-up order. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed such as dipping sauces and a drink. Got to the place and was looking at the menu on the Wall as soon as you going in y'all see it to the left ask the Gentleman for his opinion on a good burger since there were many to choose from and he recommended the Happy Hawaiian and I don't regret it. I ordered a California Philly from here and it was ok however I give this restaurant 3 stars because of the customer service. The first time I went to order a California Philly, they ran out of blackbean meat which is used for that sandwich. That first visit, I felt like the owners son was rude and didn't appreciate my visit and time there. I decided to go back and ordered the California Philly and asked for mayo on the side. Apparently he didn't want to give it to me and told me it was already on the sandwich. If I spend 9 dollars on a sandwich alone, you should give me as much mayo as I want. Ive been going to this place for a few years. It use to be the best place in Atlanta to get a Turkey Burger. I wont be eating in there anymore. I visited this place for a take out order for lunch. As im sitting in the waiting area I noticed the cooks only had on one glove. Then I noticed one of the cooks put his fingers in his month and proceeded to touch the orders (food). I then requested he put on another glove (no one heard me but him). He stated he would, but never did, and continued to touch the orders, so then I made sure the whole restaurant knew he put his fingers in his mouth and was touching the food (orders). Then the cook proceeded to question me as to when he put his finger in his mouth. I had to remind him that im the customer and don't owe him an explanation. I requested a refund on the spot. The manager Mr. John attempted to rectify the situation. I was DONE. I work in a hospital and have seen many things that you can catch at restaurants. I had a steak burger with grilled pineapple and I substituted fried green tomatoes for fries - all very good. My husband had a spicy steak burger with a huge portion of fries. The servings sizes are generous and you can pick toppings like lettuce, tomato, salsa, etc for your burger after it's prepared. Most of the burgers average about $10 with fries or salad, which is good value for the portion and quality. It was busy when we stopped in around 7:30pm on a weeknight but it was so worth the wait.
