Carne asada taco
Laiza H.

Outstanding customer service by the marketing director! My husband took me here for my pregnancy cravings while we were in the area. I ordered one carne asada taco and a juice. The marketing director was the one who took our order, and he was very nice and talkative. While my husband was getting me some mango juice, the manager told us to mix the strawberry juice with some water and ice, and he even gave my husband a drink cup so he could try it. The food came out quickly, and my taco was juicy and delicious and so far the best one out of all the locations! The chips and green salsa were also delicious. We chatted a bit with him, and my husband suggested they bring back the passion fruit juice to the Suwannee location, which is the one we visit the most. Great experience! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area, and I hope to see him at the other locations as well.

It's criminal to have this right by the gym bc obvi I will be going here to eat right after! The staff were attentive and the place was super clean. I love the decor inside. It gives good truck and summer picnic vibes! Everything and I mean everything was fresh. From the homemade juices to the salsa! The toppings and the tortillas! You can add as many toppings on after they give you the base order which I love. I like going to Mexican restaurants that are run by people of the culture bc they truly know how to make it taste authentic! Making the Birria here top tier on a taco! It was so soft and flavorful! Such a good spot!

You'll notice the lack of Street Corn in my La Lolita
Chris B.

I ordered one of their "Specialty Plates" named "La Lolita" which in the description and the picture contains Street Corn. However there was no Street Corn in the dish which was the main ingredient to which I was craving. When I woman came by to ask how my meal was I explained the issue and she had no idea to what I was referring. The dish is $20+ and should include everything they claim. I will not be back.

This location used to be a Qdoba, and I can't say I miss it considering that it's cleaner now with fresher ingredients. Service was fast, and I like their salsa bar options. The food is good, and it makes for a great lunch spot or a chill dinner. Out of the tacos I've tried, which isn't quite half the menu, I like their Al Pastor the most. The inclusion of pineapple is nice, and the marinated pork was flavorful. When going for a burrito, it's my choice of meat. Any of their burritos can be made as a bowl instead, and their gym chicken burrito doesn't have to be chicken (they asked if I wanted a different protein). Now, the dessert... I wish I chose something other than their peach churros. Not sure if they made a mistake or if this is how it's intended to be, but I thought the churros would still be coated in cinnamon and sugar and then topped with whipped cream and peaches. There was no cinnamon sugar. The fried dough was fine, but there's not enough whipped cream and peaches to make up for the lack of cinnamon sugar. Street parking doesn't seem too bad. From what I've seen, there are usually free spots during lunch and dinner hours.

chicken tacos and steak

Beto's Tacos definitely exceeded my expectations. Having been in California numerous times and traveled to Mexico, I've had my fair share of amazing tacos, so I consider myself a bit of a taco critic. For a chain restaurant, these tacos were surprisingly good - definitely better than Chipotle. I'm glad to have found a solid, quick taco spot in Midtown for when the craving hits. If you're in the area and looking for quality tacos, I highly recommend Beto's

I went on the opening day for the location near GT campus. The inside of the restaurant was lively and crowded. There were alot of people since they were giving out free tacos for the opening day. The service was really streamlined and fast. All the employees were very helpful and nice too. The salsa bar has lots options and great spicy sauces. The carne asada taco was my favorite and the tacos come with a free bag of tortilla chips. I also got to sample the choco flan and it was delicious!

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch today at Beto's Tacos. The selection for street tacos made the choice difficult but I settled on the steak, shrimp and fish. I suspect I'd have been pleased with any choice. My wife had the taquitas which were delightful served on a large salad base. The unlimited chips and salsa were great. The only negative was that the queso cooled oof too fast but was initially very good with the addition of raw jalapeños. The staff to a person were friendly and helpful which really enhanced the visit. We're looking forward to Beto's being able to serve alcohol and enjoying a beer with our food. With ample seating and a few well-placed TVs the atmosphere was great for a quiet meal or a more lively outing with lots of friends. Street parking is available but limited and there is a garage on the same block.

First time trying Betos Tacos and it was a 10/10 experience! I tried their vegetarian tacos and several of their salsas. I went on grand opening day and they were giving out free food all day. This included two tacos and a drink. Betos always gives out free chips with every order and they have a salsa bar! Service was AMAZING. Can't wait to go back soon.

Absolutely delicious tacos and choriqueso. They have a fresh salsa bar including toppings and limes. 10/10 absolutely do recommend.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!

It was a little pricey at $14 for 3 small-ish tacos, but each taco was packed with meat. I also got a taco de la abuela with pastor meat. For their street tacos, they have normal street tacos for $3.25, or for $0.25 more you can get the same taco with a handmade tortilla (aka taco de la abuela). I didn't try a normal taco, so not sure if there's a notable difference in the tortilla, but I thought the pastor taco was solid as well. I felt like perhaps it was lacking a little in flavor? But I do appreciate the amount of meat that's given. The slices of pineapple are nice as well - very authentic. Throughout my dining experience, most customers were picking up/taking orders to go. The restaurant is kept clean and there's a serve yourself salsa bar. I'm glad that I've found a good taco spot nearby! Parking is a bit limited as the lot is small and is shared with other small restaurants as well.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

You cannot find anything like it in the Boston area. I'm truly sad about it, like it affects my mood. I really miss it. The frozen marg also like omfg. If anyone from the LR team sees this my husband and I are very legitimately wanting to partner on opening a sister restaurant in Boston. It's the only way I can think to fill this gap. I MISS YOU LITTLE REYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Also ps one time there was a person who seemed potentially homeless who came into the restaurant and was lingering around a bit while we were there. Rather than kicking him out the manager came over, took his order and gave him a free dinner. Quietly, without causing a fuss. In the world we live in today the kindness is refreshing. Love to see it.

Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I think I saved this spot due to some friends recommending it. Pretty decent food for a gas station…read morespot. The hubs choose x3 shrimp birria tacos while I had the beef birria quesadilla. I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
