Much gratitude to Eitan, Yan and Ricky, who were responsive, calming and professional when I was panicked after a cracked plumbing waste pipe created mold behind dry wall. BH Environmental quickly and efficiently dealt with the removal, clean up, drying and mold mitagation. Dealing with mold is a scary thing, I looked at a lot of companies, sifting through reviews and had several companies come out. I was pleased with my meeting with Ricky at BH Environmental, the process was explained and I felt an aura of relief. The mold was in the kitchen ceiling and of the companies that came out he was the ONLY one to go upstairs and take a moisture reading of the bathroom floor, which as it turned out had a high moisture reading. They not only did a great job protecting and securing the kitchen with plastic, but used hepa filters, dehumidifier, and fans to dry out the wood after remediation. They also put a dehumidifier in the upstairs bathroom! I highly recommend them for your remediation needs!! read more

Ricky, Carlos and Team helped us out during the homebuying process and after we closed with mold testing and remediation in Laurel Canyon. They had a very fast turnaround for testing, able to test while I was traveling for work and Ricky gave me a comprehensive review of the results. My tenant complained of mold . . . again. The first time, I replaced the AC/heating. There was no mold, but I had wanted to put in an HVAC system. Still, we found no mold at that time. Then, the tenant complained about mold again. Neither my husband or I could find mold. But I decided to be safe than sorry, so I called mold company X (not BH Environmental) and next day waited from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m at the property. Mold company X called at 12:15 to say the tech was sick and not coming. I was furious. I called BH Environmental and got lucky. They are the best! The communication was awesome via phone, email and text. They came to my rental house the next day and took samples. 24-hours later, the tests showed no mold. I notified the tenant, shared the findings that BH Environmental sent me; and asked the tenant to pay for the testing per the law; if not, as an owner, a tenant could demand testing every 30 days. Anyhow, BH Environmental was awesome and reasonable and efficient. They listened to my concerns about my tenants and provided peace of mind for all. Mold testing can be scary. Some companies are just looking for a payday, but BH Environmental is in it for the long haul, whatever you need. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend. Thanks, BH Environmental! Although I did not select this company to complete my project in the end, I highly recommend them from what I experienced. Ricky came out to give me a very competitive estimate and shockingly enough, another company beat it. I will mention they would have not beat it if I didn't get BH Environmental involved though. Ricky really tried all he could to work with me and in the end admitted that I had a good deal and his company could not match it. He was transparent the whole way which I really enjoyed. Even after he knew he was beaten he continued to make sure I was in good hands and confirm that the other company was doing things properly.
