I love getting Jeff's Vegan! The food is flavorful and well-priced for how much you get. Every time we've dined in, the restaurant is very clean and comfortable to be in. This place was very nice. It's a casual place that's clean and simple. I ordered the spicy salt and pepper tofu. I loved the texture of the tofu. It had a crunchy outside and soft inside. I haven't gotten to go back in a while so this review is from almost 5 yrs ago. I went when I first went vegan a couple of times and really loved it. My hubby isn't vegan but he still liked it but wasn't as interested as I was. If you are trying to go Vegan it is so good to have some comfort food. I just don't have any friends that are vegan so it's hard to get someone to go with me. They don't mind going someplace that has both. Everything I tried at the time was good. I'm very disappointed to be making this review, I've been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while now and was excited but I feel that they are scamming a little bit, u know vegan places typically are expensive with low portion but this was insane. Also the prices online did not match in person, then menu items are way more in person. I would give the Passion balls an 7/10, they were good but they cost $15 for like 10 balls or less with literally 3 small pieces of broccoli floating in a bunch of sauce and a hunk of white rice!! Also the pot stickers, they were good but they were like $9 for 6 and they are so tiny!! They are scamming, this is unethical. You wanna know what I ended up doing?! Vegan here. We order take out from here all the time. Our kids love the health burger w/bacon and some of our other favorites are the twice cooked medley and spicy love. We've tried almost everything on the menu but these are the ones we usually end up ordering on repeat. I've taken a couple of non-vegan friends here once and they said it was good. The service was pretty quick and it wasn't a busy time so they asked how long they've been in business LOL. I would recommend this place for anyone. There's something for everyone! read more

I would give this place a 3.5 star. It was "good enough, but could be better". I had such high hopes, but felt let down. The best thing we had, which were fantastic by the way, were the Texas Fries. They had a curry, nutmeg type seasoning on this. The spring rolls were ok. They were better once we asked for chili sauce and soy sauce. Would not eat them without the chili sauce. The miso was bland, until we added soy sauce to it. It really tasted like veggie broth. The Fried Rice Noodle tasted like chicken ramen noodles from the packet. Honestly, if they would have added the seasoning that's on the Texas Fries or peanut sauce, it would have been way better. The picture for the Spicy Salt and Pepper Tofu (V4) showed a bunch of veggies, but the plate was almost all just tofu. My husband enjoyed this, I had a hard time with the texture on the inside (kind of mushy). The cheesecake was ok, although I wouldn't get it again. It would have been better if it came with some kind of sauce maybe. I would go back for the Texas Fries. Not sure if I'd be willing to try anything else or not though. read more

When scrolling thru yelp reviewers' pics of the menu, please pay attention to the dates of the photos. I had perused the menu before coming in, and it looked great! However, once seated with a menu, I noticed the prices had gone up considerably. I was going to order the "Fried Rice Noodles" (which are now $13.95, btw), but then I discovered that it doesn't even include ANY protein source. I originally thought it was extra $ for EXTRA tofu, but no. It's extra $ for ANY tofu. I'm sorry, but $15 bucks for a simple noodle dish at lunchtime?? I just can't do it. So, I ultimately ordered only the dumplings. They were delicious, and I would have loved to try more menu items, but I just couldn't justify the prices. I'm posting pics of the menu on 4/26/2024. Veggies? Where's the beef?? Haven't found a lot of vegan restaurants here in Dallas, but this place had some interesting variety for a decent price. The only issue was the flavors were a bit on the lighter side. + Veggie burger was my favorite = Hand pulled noodle soup had a curry flavor to it. Wasn't bad but also wasn't memorable. = People raved about the tofu bites but I want that impressed. Just tasted like fried tofu, and very little flavor. Probably one of the best places we have been for vegan food in our area. You must try it. Even if you are not vegan this restaurant, located in a strip center Northwest of Stonebriar Center off Preston, is good for you too! We tried multiple appetizers (spring rolls, tofu bites, pot stickers), we had a health burger that came with fries and we tried the Texas Fries too. I found the flavors to be very good with just the right seasoning. The tofu bites were the best appetizer although each of them was very good. The Health Burger, even if healthy, didn't taste like it! Melted vegan cheese over mushrooms with vegan mayo. It melted in your mouth. The menu offers a lot of variety. If you don't want stir fry over rice you can get a burger or burrito. The desserts look tasty but we didn't try them. We carried out so I can't say much about the service in the restaurant. The take out process was smooth, efficient, and quick. No complaints. The five star is really because of the food. I've not had vegan food this good in a long time. I love that there is a Chinese fast food restaurant that caters to vegans. They are doing take out only, so help support this small local business! I ordered the veggies + cashews with soy protein (about $11 total) and I will say the soy protein was so much tastier and the perfect texture compared to other versions I have had which can be tough or rubbery. Only downside was that there was not enough; they only filled the containers about halfway with rice and veggies, so I wasn't totally full. Luckily I had gotten dessert that day! read more

Wow, where do I begin? I've been dying to give Jeff's Vegan a try for months, but when my schedule finally aligned, it was worth the wait. We ordered the Potsticker appetizer and that was really good. I'm usually not a fan of potstickers (probably because of the meat component) but since these were vegan, they were actually really, really good. No weird bits or anything. The Passion Balls were delicious -- I ordered the Orange and my husband got the General Tso. It was so good, we ordered another meal to-go so that we'd have a tasty lunch the next day! After the main meal, we ordered the Sesame ball dessert (idk the name) and that was OMG lovely. They tasted too good. I probably could've wolfed down 4 more orders of those. I highly recommend trying them. Overall, the food is amazing and I love that it's vegan. Vegan food doesn't have to be boring or taste like shit and Jeff's proves that concept. The folks who run the place are the sweetest and are incredibly helpful. I'm going to make an effort to come here more often and support this business, even though it's 30mins away. Warning: the Buffalo cauliflower from Jeff's can cause sudden delight and make it difficult to refrain from eating the entire dish in one sitting. The Buffalo cauliflower from Jeff's is slightly crispy, moist, with a sweet flavor. It's a perfect treat and very addictive (try eating just 1... it's nearly impossible). So glad to see more vegan hot spots popping up in the area I grew up in. Aside from the fact that the orders aren't super customizable, this is a great spot to get some quality (and tasty) appetizers or dishes if you're vegan or looking for a healthier option. We ordered the salt and spicy tofu and the fried noodles. You must get the tofu. Perfect bite size pieces of salty and sometimes very spicy (with chunks of garlic) tofu. I actually saw this place after I had left another vegan restaurant in the surrounding area. Ever though I was practically bursting out of my pants from my previous Vegan outing, I decided to walk into this restaurant to see what they got! Of all the times I go to Frisco, I can't believe I've never come across this place! But I'm so glad I found it now so I can eat here more! As a vegetarian, I really enjoyed the fact that I could eat every single item on the menu here without having to question whether there was meat or ask to have the meat removed. The menu has a wide range of foods as well from rice dishes to noodle dishes, pad thai, pho and even burgers! I went with the spicy golden noodle soup and really enjoyed it- tasted a little like Taiwanese beef noodle soup but with a tangier taste to it. I do wish the broth was spicer and a little less salty though. The bowl came with rice noodles, veggies and tofu. I'm excited to try more of their dishes here- they all looked really delicious. Craving it again already! I've been wanting to go here for awhile. Finally after working OT one Saturday I decided I deserved a treat. #TreatYoself The service left a bit to be desired. They were pleasant but then seemed to forget about you. I didn't get a visit back to my table until I was ready to leave. No water refill the entire time. I was there almost an hour. It was also pretty warm in the restaurant despite the ceiling fans. In spite of all this I'd return because the food was really good. Who knew I'd find a delicious vegan restaurant in Frisco. :) I had sweet n sour Passion Ball with white rice, an order of spring rolls and took two slices of cake to go. The "chicken" was really good and very very close to the battered chicken I've had from Chinese type restaurants. Both of the cake slices were really good too.
