They had a lot more dog items than any other item it seemed. There was rows and rows of dog toys, food, beds, accessories, etc. We went to the cat section after and there wasn't as many food options yet, but we saw a lot of the big named popular cat food anyway. We even found our brand that we use. The best part was walking over to the wet food. We found Tiki Cat wet food - hardest cat wet food to find anywhere. No one has it. We have checked the major pet stores and other stores we shop at as well. You can only buy it online and it is rated as one of the healthiest by multiple vets. We decided to buy the two different options to try it out and see if our cats love it. They had quite a few cat toys, and some really cheap options. Across from the food, near the register, we saw rice and mice for sale, super cheap. They were adorable. Right above them, they had cute birds. These are the only live animals they have in store - no dog/cat adoption. I really enjoyed two other sections of the store. The fish area surprised me with LED tanks or Glow tanks - something my little sister would love. Quite a few of them came with a set that included rocks and a few decorations, along with a filter. It makes it easier to have everything you need, and with different designs. I loved the rocks they had as well. Another section was the bird feeder area. They had really pretty bird feeders and large bags of different bird food. They also had tiny little hanging food items or discs that were super cheap. We saw gourmet food items for critters, including birds. I am excited to buy a few in the spring. I was amazed to see wildlife food, like corn, for deers. I did not expect to see it. The employees at the register are very friendly, and were happy to hear I was excited about the wet food options. I am hoping they will bring in different kinds in the future! Rude, insensitive, entitled lady behind the counter. Denied her treat of Denta Stix which shes had for ten years, saying it's a choking hazard. This lady was on a power trip, not nice, not welcoming, doesn't like her job obviously. Filled all the papers out. Dog had all necessary vacinations. She bent down and tried to put a lease around her neck. Dog has cataracts and is hard of hearing too. Dog snipped at her. I asked her to give the dog a few minutes to calm down since this is a stranger she cant see trying to put something around her neck. She refused and told us she couldn't take out dog!!!! At the last moment before we leave for out week long vacation she says she can not take the dog!!!!!! No apologies just flat out can't take her!! We had no one or no where to take her since it's the Fourth of July weekend!! This person didn't care about any of that. Ruining our vacation didn't matter to her. To top if off I was told by a Danielle that she'd hate to report my dog to animal control if she bit anyone!! This dog who has had a rabies shot was going to be reported to animal control?? Are you kidding me? For what for them to come take and euthanize her? Stay far away from this place. The store manager was no better except supporting his staff! I wouldn't leave a fly here!!

As a customer, I definitely felt like my time being there was valued by employees and they both made sure to go above and beyond to cater what I needed. Most employees are well rehearsed on animal needs or at least the ones that they own themselves. I signed up for the pet club to earn points and get discounts since I have 2 fish tanks and 14 female Guinea pigs! They were super helpful and the owner was extremely friendly when giving us information. They went above and beyond when trying to find the best deal for a 60 gallon tank. Even helped load the heavy oak stand into the truck after hours. Helped with tank stocking so it would be a very peaceful community with lots of live plants which are low maintenance. Wonderful selection of Guinea pig toys, mine can't get enough of them! My ONLY complaint with this store is the sale of live animals. They have wayyyy too many Guinea pigs in the cages and too many rabbits in small wire-bottom cages. They do however have plenty of food, water, ect but no room to run & high chances of disease spreading. Rabbits and Guinea pigs run a high chance of spreading diseases which are deadly to Guinea pigs. The acrylic tanks/cages allows for too much ammonia build up which can cause URIs. For an unsuspecting new pet parent, they would shrug off as sneezing. Antibiotics are fairly cheap but has to be bought from a vet after diagnosis which many parents wouldn't do for a "childs pet". There are soooo many Guinea pigs in shelters and rescues in need of new homes and wish that they'd try rehoming before mass breeding at the store. Also, don't buy hamster, Guinea pig, or small animal cages here! None are large enough or for hamsters offer deep enough trays to fulfill the minimum requirement of 6-8in of bedding. For Guinea pigs, Midwest, C&C, or homemade is the way to go. Hamsters have more suitable options both store bought and homemade, just do some research!
