I wish I could give them have a star. My parents and I went today to get a gold coin. The minute we walked , one of the lady reps. checked in mom out and made a face. I went ahead and asked the other lady that we are looking for a gold coin . The Second Lady rep. called the first one over. The first one ask if you have the cash to get it. My mom politely mentioned we do have debit card to complete the transaction. They said they only do cash transactions and need cash, they did not show us anything and we left. I am not sure if this post will even reach the owners but please if you are reading this. Your staff is horrible at customer service. Your company is here in US and Bay Area from a very long time and you speak very highly of your legacy on your website . But unfortunately you are not able to put any of your values in your work. We went to buy a Sri Laxmi Ganest Silver coin for Dhanteras. Bhindi would not give us a certificate with the coin. They would also not provide a receipt even when requested. All the other stores always provide both. The quailty and genuineness of their items are doubtful. We bought silver on Dhanteras from a smaller store next door and they were happy to give us a certificate of authencity. I would 100% skip Bhindi for my gold / silver shopping. read more

Walked in today to have a brand new Rolex watch I purchased in Australia last week to be sized. I was informed by Rolex upon purchase that any authorized dealer in the world will size the watch at no charge. I just did not have the time at purchase since it was right before a flight home. The people at Bhindi are quite frankly rude and unaccommodating. I walked into what looked like a family gathering in the middle of the store and they treated me as if I was interrupting their party. In addition they told me there would be a charge to have my watch sized. As an authorized Rolex dealer, this is against company policy. In addition, they informed me they do not size Rolex watches in house and that the watch would have to be sent out. Hard for me to believe they would sell Rolex watches without being able to size them for a customer. So easy to believe they choose the people they want to do business with. Most probably favoring people of their own descent to be honest. To top things off, the members of their family in the store looked at my family and I as if we were not worthy customers. Each looked us up and down and we could tell they were speaking badly about us in their native language as if we could not notice. Poor customer service and I would advise taking your business elsewhere. Wish I could give zero, if not, negative stars. Shame on you, Bhindi!!!!! By the way, went straight to Davidson & Licht a short drive away and they sized the watch in less than 10 minutes, no questions asked, for no fee! read more

They are fraud. I bought real diamond bangles that time no one tell me they will not buy back . But when I went India I asked 5 or 6 jewelry shop ( include relative) but nobody want to buy or exchange jewelry. When I came back and went Bhindi jewelry shop Newark I told them I want to exchange bangles and purchase different thing the owner refused to buy which bangles I already purchased from their own shop . It cost around $4000. It means the diamonds are not real or they gave me the low quality. If it's no value that means my $4000 waste . Even they didn't gave me the certificate of diamond. Wish I could give -1000000 stars. What a joke their Rolex department is. My husband went in to get his Rolex watch strap adjusted and they told him it was a fake because the guy there had never seen a older model of a Submariner 14060 claiming that because it's missing a strap glide adjuster and some Rolex logo inscription inside the watch face and it feels lighter while he holds it (is his hand an accurate scale???), and there's no exposed serial number. Of course the Older 14060 looks different from the most recent Submariner 114060 model and is missing some of the more recent features but that doesn't mean it's a fake. The serial number, by the way, is on the bottom of the watch where the watch band connects to the body, of course I wouldn't expect him to know that either. They don't even understand the most basic differences in their own Rolex models which anyone can just DO SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET and they have the hubris to say "this is fake, we won't work on it" and refuse to do their job. If you're going to deal in very expensive high end products, at least provide the right training for your staff to know your own products. Learn some humbleness too while you're at it. --- Update --- Today we went to the official Rolex store in the Westfield Mall downtown SF and they serviced our watch for free no questions asked because THEY KNOW WHAT A ROLEX LOOKS LIKE. read more

Please refrain yourselves from getting awfully looted at this store.They are all EXPERIENCED BLUFF MASTERS!!! Please don't be Fooled like I got! Sales representatives have very poor knowledge about the stuff they exhibit. PLEASE DON'T TRUST BHINDI JEWELLERS and don't let your money be wasted. This store is a big cheater in the market.They put the retail price so high ( almost 3 times the actual worth of the item) and then later offer discount if you bargain. Again, keep in mind and don't fall for that trick as we did.They will discount and bring it to about 200% the original worth of the item. We recently purchased a very expensive item at this store during Diwali time.The sales person (Vandana) showed us nicely at the beginning and slowly started pushing and hurrying us to select the item. She kept telling it's Diwali time and we are busy and all. Finally we fell for the trap. After comparing the item's worth ( gold weight , stones worth) to other jewellery stores( like Raj, Totaram , Kothari and Kumar jewellers) we realised that the amount we ended up paying was 2 times more than the actual cost. Went back 2 times, 1 time called them up and they asked me to come at a certain time and I went at the same time. After speaking to Owner and telling him that I was charged too much for the item and showed him what the other jewellers in the market were offering for the similar item(net weight and stones worth) , he said very rudely that he is very BUSY and started telling that I should have called and come. 2nd time I went again, this time One of the owner of BHINDI named Ketan spoke to me. I wonder how he calls himself is a lawyer !!! We had conversations and Ketan was giving me ridiculous options and answers saying it's not company policy to cancel/refund which surely can be done based in consent from management. There are so many stores out in the market who honour cancellations and refunds if one is willing to pay the cancellation fee and returned within 10 days.He was clearly trying to shush me off by not giving the details/proofs I need. I was willing to even pay the cancellation fee which is also quite high ( for an unused item). And when i asked Ketan to provide relevant data pertaining to the item , he was just so hesitant and saying that they don't do that!! These deceitful Bhindi people, Ketan , Vinod and other staff (like Gauri) are simply escaping saying they don't provide that kind of information. This is clear indication that they are hiding details and just want US (customers) to blindly pay the heavy price. Every customer is rightful to have the information relevant to the item like details(breakdown of item) of what is the net worth for gold and stones used. Finally, I am very unsatisfied that we got looted terribly by these guys and I guess I consider that the extra price that has been looted from us is given as CHARITY to BHINDI. read more

This place has the most amazing jewelry! Everything is just beautiful and the store is super clean however, the customer service sucks. I have been going in for years and always end up buying something. They are usually hesitant to show me the items I want to see .... and I feel it's because I'm not Indian. We were looking to buy gold mangalsutra, earrings, bangles. Bhindi jewellers told me rate of $95/gram of gold + Taxes. Rate on that day was $75/gram + tax. I told the guy in Bhindi that you are charing a lot more than market rate and to that he just said we are giving quality and pure gold. What the heck. I enquired about it with 3 other jewellers (PNG Jewellers in Sunnyvale, CA, Tanmai Jewellers in Texas and Raj Jewels in Iselin, NJ). Everyone told me rate of $75/gram except Bhindi Jewellers who were charing $20/gram more than market price. So, it was clear these guys are cheaters. Forget about gold quality. We got what we were looking for from PNG jewellers and Raj Jewels. All Americans and Indians buying gold jewellery please avoid Bhindi Jewellers with gold purity certificate. If you want to check rates then make sure to check gold rate with few other jewellers in USA and then plan to buy something from Bhindi if you are willing to pay a lot more than market rate. read more

With that said, this review is solely based on customer service. The customer service reps are very friendly and ready to help out. They have a good selection of jewelry and a very clean and well kept store. As for pricing, that I'm not so sure about. I haven't really compared this place to other jewelry shops.
