Have been enjoying Biagios for years from the start. Definitely check out the online menu, which differs from the dining in menu. Our party of four ordered nothing that was on the regular menu and it was all excellent. In fact, we walked by other diners enjoying penne with marinara and meatballs, which is nowhere to be found on any menu. One of us ordered the same and it was delicious. Biagio's sauce rocks! The Caesar has switched again from the photos online, which was creatively in a funnel. It's an ordinary salad now with a piece of bread, and, unfortunately, not that good. For dessert, I had forgotten about the ricotta pie they, which is always a standout and not often seen on any menu. I remember their dessert menu was always fantastic, which it still is. But, when we asked the waitress if they had real whipped cream, she said it was from a can, so we didn't order dessert. In retrospect, I'm not sure that's true as Biagio has always used fresh ingredients in the past, so maybe the waitress meant freshly made whipped cream placed into a can? Idk but we skipped dessert and went to Plasko's instead where we knew they had freshly made whipped cream. read more

Very disappointed. Food took way to long to come out. Zucchini flower appetizer special all breading and deep fried. Chicken Neapolitan on the menus is basically chicken stew and served Luke warm. Chilean sea bass was like fish and chips. It's a shame because the drinks were excellent and the dessert was on point. read more

My family and I came here to celebrate Mother's Day and left very disappointed. We waited more than 30 minutes to place our order and it took over an hour to receive our food. The food did not come out all together and some of the food was cold and had to send it back. One of my family members dinner came out wrong and we had to send it back and the second time it was raw. One person did not get their red sauce for their pasta and something was floating in the water glass. It took multiple tries to get butter. The dishes were all mismatched and chipped. We had a truly enjoyable date night at Biagio's! The atmosphere is cozy and magical with all the string lights! The service is five star! Our server, Marco, was very pleasant and attentive, and so were the support staff, always refreshing the water and silverware. The meatballs with polenta were light, and the sauce was excellent. The clams casino were plentiful and well flavored. Hubby enjoyed his cavatelli with lamb ragu; I had the duck agnoletti with a cream sauce that I wasn't expecting and don't prefer, but that's ok. The star of the evening was the sfogliatelle, something I've never seen on a restaurant menu before -3 lemony mini pastries served warm! Upon arriving, we were seated and waited patiently. We were given bread and drinks, but it took over 30 minutes just to get appetizers--and even then, we were starving. My aunt kindly asked the bartender in the back for more bread, we had just come from a funeral and hadn't eaten. Shockingly, a server rudely yelled at her in a completely unprofessional manner. My husband and I had to step in and tell him he was out of line for speaking to her that way. He eventually apologized, but the damage was done. Food didn't arrive until about an hour later--and even worse, our meals came out 15 minutes apart. It was clear they were completely unprepared, despite my aunt informing them ahead of time that there would be 75 guests. And unfortunately, when the food finally came, it was absolutely horrible. Bland, overcooked, and definitely not worth the wait--we ate only because we were starving. The only saving grace was our individual server, who was at least kind and understanding. But overall, this was a deeply disappointing experience on what should have been a respectful and peaceful day of remembrance. Located in a hidden strip mall, this little gem hides hidden treasure for those that venture out to find it. Pro tip- Make a reservation in the bar. It's quiet, it's casual, and it's cozy. For an Italian restaurant, the menu is small, but ask, they will make you most of anything! We started our meal with some warm Italian bread served with oil and balsamic, butter and a hummus spread. Started our meal with the pear salad and the meatball appetizer. Both were very good. I had the sea bass, my sons had the veal osso buco and the salmon special. Came here for my sister's birthday dinner. The restaurant is nice inside, very clean, and I love the dim lighting. To start off with, we ordered Calamari Fritti - which was under cooked. We also ordered the Veal Riccotta Balls - Basil, sanmarzano, w/creamy polenta. The flavors were there but I found them to be too chewy. I did enjoy the polenta with it tho, never had that with meatballs before and it was delicious.For my entree I ordered L' Aragosta Di Ravioli - Hand made stuffed lobster ravioli simmered in a sweet sherry pink sage reduction sauce. Food was so delicious and the wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The power went out due to a big thunderstorm during our meal and the staff was very apologetic yet reassuring. I am a restaurant snob. There I said it. I am frequently disappointed but not a Biagio. I have dined here three times in the past year and each time found it outstanding. In fact, I believe them to be the only Italian restaurant in the area -- there are many "Italian-American" restaurants but no other Italian restaurants. The menu changes frequently, is always interesting, and perfectly executed. We ordered the wild boar and frutta di mare and couldn't have been happier. Our waiter was a courteous and professional by every measure - even offering off the menu items and substitutions. We pretty much know everyone but they treat everyone like they are guests in their home MENU - post COVID the menu is much smaller than pre-pandemic. There are specials worth a look and while a smaller selection there is something for everyone APPETIZERS - I love their broccoli rape dish. Best I've had. Never bitter and always succulent. Don't miss out on the meatballs option. You won't regret it. ENTREES - I love the veal chop with parsnips and the fruit sauce. Today I tried something new and will review at a later date Wife needs gluten free and they are very accommodating so no worries if you are in the same boat VINO - pretty good choices. Last night my family celebrated two birthdays at Biagio's. The service was outstanding. The food was great. Lobster Soufflé was loaded with lobster and the flavor was excellent. Ambiance 4. I ordered lobster ravioli. There was no lobster in the ravioli with two shrimp on top for distraction. Tasted like ground up fish. The sauce was not classic more of a red sauce. It was more of a pink sauce before. The calamari wasn't cooked and had zero taste including the sauce. Last time I was there I got a bowl full of grease with my carbonara. I think Biagio has left the cooking to fools because he is never there. I gave them a 3 because my husband's mushroom ravioli were descent but not great. Most of the mushroom taste came from a base and they definitely changed the pasta recipe from the original. Sadly no longer one of the better places. If people don't want to pay for lobster then don't put fake lobster on the menu and recommend the dish like it's something great. I should have know $26 for a lobster pasta dish is too cheap. I decided to try this restaurant because of the good reviews and the menu sounded great. Yikes. The bread service was average, with a plate of oil/vinegar to dip, and a little plate of bruschetta and bean dip (both bland). The short rib appetizer was truly awful, bordering on vile. The short rib was tough and chewy, clearly not cooked properly. The sauce was weird and very sweet. The grits were bland. There was not one redeeming quality to this dish. Bucatini carbonara was not great. It was served with two slices of bacon on top of the pasta, which was an interesting aesthetic choice. Why was there any bacon on the plate when it's supposed to be pancetta? It just drew attention to the fact that they are clearly using bacon instead of pancetta. The lamb ragu tasted like jarred tomato sauce. There was barely any meat and the pasta was not cooked properly (there were gummy clumps throughout the plate) Some positives: the drinks were strong, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and they do actually use fresh pasta Otherwise, the food was terrible and overpriced. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Note: the online menu also needs updating. The prices are inaccurate, as are some of the descriptions. For example, online the carbonara says that it has porcini mushrooms and a pancetta glaze. How can restaurant go wrong when there are fluent Italian speakers both behind me and to my right? One couple had a well behaved (but non Italian speaking) dog so I'm adding a point for being canine friendly. We enjoyed sitting in the outside patio near the fountain, but left feeling gouged. Reviewers here noted that service can be slow, and although there was one server for lunch but even having to hustle, he was on point. The owner made it his business to greet and oversee everyone's lunch. We shared the lobster bisque souffle with a pastry puff and bits of lobster meat and total creamy abrosia. Good thing it's deliciousness took it's sweet time on my tongue before it ended up in my arteries, but well worth the visit. The ossobucco's veal was like butter, with a beautiful sauce and standing bone with marrow. The only thing missing was a marrow spoon, but as the owner was deep in Italian conversation with someone, I let that wonderful language (I don't understand a word) pour over me rather than interrupt it for some mundane request. The melting sphere came out as a globe of chocolate over a nutella cake with strawberries, to which warm cream was poured over to release the interior. An issue - we were charged the dinner prices for lunch. Their online lunch menu showed the ossobucco as $19, and the dinner price at $29, but for lunch we were charged $31. In fact, everything else was more expensive than what was even posted for dinner. Although our tab says we ate at 1:43, hubs paid the dinner price of $39 for his rib eye. The online prices should be coordinated to reflect what is actually charged, and lunch prices should be charged as advertised. The food was delicious, but the bill left a bad taste. read more

We were pleased with Biagio's Osteria a fusion of classic and modern Italian cuisine. We arrived on Friday around 5 pm and were surprised to find a very quiet restaurant and bar. The multiple dinning rooms are set up with white table cloths and napkins. The inside "patio" had a few tables occupied. We opted for the bar which is small and has room to seat about 8. There are also a few high top tables in this room. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The menu has creative Italian selections with antipasto, house made pasta dishes, seafood and meat dishes. The wine list is extensive. We started out with fresh baked bread served warm with chick pea hummus and a balsamic vinegar reduction. This went well with our wine selection. Next we ordered the tomatoes with burrata, roasted red peppers and marinated mushrooms for our appetizer/antipasto. The tomatoes were perfect summer tomatoes and the burrata was creamy and delicious. The mushrooms were made in house and wonderful. We split the dish as the portion was adequate for two. For our entrees I had the Conchiglie Al Frutti Di Mare and Phil had the Ravioli Porcini E Tartufo. We were both very pleased with our dinners. For dessert we had the lemonchello gelato which was incredible. It had a berry sauce that was just the right amount of sweetness to complement the gelato. I was in heaven! Very disappointed, they were very plain with not much taste. I ordered the special which was ribeye steak. I like to order steak when I go to restaurants because I don't make that at home. This was just OK. There was some grizzle in it and it didn't taste as good as a fine dining restaurant steak should taste. I don't think I would go back to this restaurant. I didn't know what to expect? My sister and Brother In-Law took me to Biagio Osteria for dinner. They have been many times prior and said they have always had great visits and excellent meals. Arrived at 7:00pm and were seated quickly. Service was top notch all night, all our meals were excellent. I ordered the COSCIOTTO DI VITELLO AL CASSIS, an oven braised veal chop prepared with sweet cassis berry reduction, crispy sweet parsnip crisps & truffle whipped potatoes. The veal was cooked a perfect Medium rare and was very tender. It was the best Veal Chop I have ever eaten. Melted in my mouth. So tender that I could have cut it with a butter knife. It had to be a USD Prime cut as it was that good. Brother in-law had the PACCHERI ARMANI-Organic wide tube pasta from Naples Italy / fennel sausage / shallots / vodka cream / basil, He mentioned his was excellent as usual. Sister had the POLLO NAPOLEON -Free range chicken breast, layered prosciutto, fontina, panko, Gruyere and blue cheese fondue. She loved it. I finally got to try the Lobster bisque and oh my gosh...... it was culinary excellence. The pastry on top was so flaky it melted in your mouth. The only downside to this place is that they do not have much of a waiting area while they're clearing tables to seat you. There's no where to sit and the hallway is so narrow it's hard to stand in one place without being bumped into repeatedly. Excellent food including the meatballs and calamari. My dad is Italian so I am very critical of meatballs as I grew up eating them at weekly spaghetti family dinners. They were delicious, accompanied by a creamy tasty polenta. The calamari was fresh and crispy with a spicy marinara. We also enjoyed the mushroom ravioli and the Pollo Napoleone. We didn't realize until the chicken dish came that it seemed like a play on chicken cordon bleu but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
