We went and ordered a medium half eggplant half sausage pizza well done when our server brought it to our table we started to pick up our slices and immediately we new it was not well done it was doughy and toppings just fell off our server who was AWESOME asked if we wanted it cooked more we said yes please when she brought it back it looked ok but when we bit into our slices they had no taste crust eggplant sausage had a burnt taste it was dry honestly it was the worst pizza we have ever attempted to eat we tried to eat a little of it because we were very hungry took rest home and tossed it. Came here for a private birthday event and were sat in the back (side?) room. Was a good overall experience.. servers did a decent job trying to keep up with keeping water and soda jugs full. I will say, it was a little hard to mingle given the amount of people for the room so it was more of a once you sit, you're stuck speaking to your table mates. So slammed we had to park on the adjacent street and walk across the parking lot. Not to mention I made 630 reservations but didn't get seated until 7, what was the point of making the reservation? Anyhow, I give it 4 stars based on the food and the quality service from our server we received. I got the chicken parm which was very enjoyable, came with pasta and string beans which oddly was good and goes well with chicken parm. My wife got chicken Marsala which looked good as well. They had a loud private party in the side room but what annoyed us was the 40 person party in the dining room the covered the entire length of the floor, just made the place seem small and uncomfortable. read more

They never disappoint. Recently we have started going there for Sunday dinner. Last night we had Christopher D again as our server. He like all of the Vazzy's team treat you like family starting with the signature bread basket. Last night my husband had the fruity di mare. I'm conflicted, the dining experience was BAD. Had reservations for 2 since it was a Saturday night and figured it would be a good idea but we had to wait about 30mins for a table. That wasn't the worst of it though, there was a party going in a private section of the restaurant which was insanely loud, had to have been like 80 people. Glad they had a private area. But then, in the main dining room was another party of 40 at a long long table. They were there far before we got there and I'm sure long after we left but it wasn't wasn't a good space for a party because no one could get by them, and they were walking around visiting each other and standing in the walkways. Inches from our table at all times. Felt so bad for the staff that had to squeeze by all of them every few mins. They really should have had to book a private room! Our food was really good though. I had chicken Marsala and my boyfriend had chicken parm. We got a house salad to start. I loved the ice cream tartufo options, I got the almond one! Yum. Just not a good date night experience I'd come back on a weeknight instead. Staff couldn't have been friendlier! I was at your restaurant yesterday and ordered the Seafood Saute which consisted of mussels, shrimp, etc. It was awful. I am so disappointed in this place. I've been dining there for years. There was no flavor. Who ever prepared this meal should be fired. I can tell whoever put this dish together didn't care. I'll give you a scenario: There was linguine already cooked in a pot, the seafood was in another pot and lack of spices in another pot. It was just thrown together. The stuffed rigatoni with vodka sauce and the chicken piccata was delicious so much so we ran out and they were kind enough to bring out penne alla vodka. Now the broccoli rabe is unseasoned and bland, the prosciutto they use seems to be a very low quality and chopped rather than thinly sliced . The bread is decent, the mozzarella is decent as well. It's been over a year since I've been here due to a work location change but going there today with my daughters (their first time) was like going home! The servers are so friendly and welcoming and were so happy to see me return! The food was as perfect as ever! Their cheesey bread and bakery Italian bread are to die for! Our meals, Pasta Coco (penne, pan seared chicken, cherry peppers and Gorgonzola cream sauce) ... my favorite Italian dish, anywhere, EVER, Fettuccine carbonara and Pink pasta were all perfect! I've been craving Vazzy's for months and am so happy we finally got face there! We even tried the Fuzzy Garlic bread - strange name but a delicious concoction of thick Italian bread, fresh mozzarella and garlic and roasted red peppers; I prefer their regular garlic bread but would have this again. I know it advertises as a "family style" restaurant, but it was so noisy, my family and I had to practically scream to hear each other over the patrons and the live music! The Calamari was slightly overcooked and rubbery, and the red sauce was close to flavorless, and so watered down that it barely stuck to the pieces. The "Broadbridge" sandwich was o.k. but the bread it was served on wasn't very fresh. I ordered the Chicken Verdi and was surprised when the chicken in the dish was breaded, which was not mentioned on the menu's description? My wife ordered a 2nd glass of the house Cab. from the same waitress, and was brought back a different brand at an extra $3 pr glass??? I was near Vazzy's the other day and noticed they had a large setup for curbside pickup during the current quarantine, so when I was looking to get food for my family yesterday, I thought of them. I called them and placed my order with someone who was very helpful. She gave me a number and said when I get to the parking lot, call them and give the number and someone would come out to the car with my food. I showed up about 20 minutes later and did exactly that and the food came out just a minute later. During uncertain times, I really appreciated the minimal contact. (If you go, bring your own pen, so there will be one less contact point.) I was impressed that everything went so smoothly. We placed an order for ravioli, shrimp and pasta, and blackened shrimp. My family loved the ravioli and the pasta. I had the salad with the shrimp, which was quite good. If I had it again I would probably ask them to skip the blackened seasonings because it is a bit spicy. With all the stress of everyone staying at home, getting food via curbside pickup at Vazzy's was pleasant and easy. Best of all, everyone enjoyed the food. Thanks, Vazzy's!
