I have been to Biankini's multiple times over the last 5 years and tend to refer people here when they ask for a sandwich or salad restaurant. Today I was rather disappointed with my experience, they were out of gluten free bread by lunch time (and the salad ordered to replace was not good), did not include bread with the order of mac and cheese. But by far the most disappointing part was the food and safety standards. The two girls who took our order/ made my food and appeared to be in front both had very long pretty hair, that was up in a pony tail, but still so long that I watched their hair touch swing down to touch food more then once. Tasty, but so wasteful - even if you eat in, all food is in to-go packaging. Including hot soup in plastic to go containers. I wished I hadn't ordered soup once I saw it was in a plastic container, which are known to leach chemicals into hot food as the food heats up the container. OK....My company used to order Biankini's every once in awhile, it wasn't our first choice because..well because it really is nothing special, I mean we are in Bozeman and there are plenty of good restraunts to choose from. Anyways I have never complained about the food, but never got the WOW factor either. I decided to go there for lunch and again the food is fine..... I PAID $30.90 FOR 2 GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES AND 2 CUPS OF SOUP!!! Thats right CHEESE & BREAD and a CUP of broth! Absolutly nothing special about this sandwich or soup whatsoever. If I would have been paying better attention I would have never ever completed that transaction...I mean really? I understand a business is in business to make money and I will gladly support local endevors, but that is just down right ridiculous. One star I guess because of how upset I am about the whole situation, I feel like I have been bent over HA, so now I am out the $30.90 and hoping my insurance will cover a trip to the shrinks office because if not then I am really going to loose it over a damn cheese sandwich! read more

I've been once before and I said I'd never come back due to the high prices for sandwiches. From what I remember of my first trip, the food was good, but I was disappointed in spending so much. I recently came back to try them again. I knew it was going to be expensive to buy three sandwiches for myself, my sister, and my husband. I was prepared for that part so possibly my experience was better due to that. We enjoyed our meals, particularly the sandwiches. The sides, however were disappointing. I paid $2 for a 1/4 cup of potato salad that I was sure contained neither salt nor pepper. thankfully there was a shaker and grinder on the table! The chicken "gumbo" was more of a chicken soup with sausage added, not a thick, rich gumbo with rice as we had expected. The "sandwich spread" or whatever their signature sauce is was hardly detectable. I wished for some Dijon mustard to give the sandwich some sort of flavor. Although, it wasn't a flavor riot, the ingredients were fresh and I would say it was an okay experience. The bread was a tad hard for me as I have a sensitive jaw, so halfway through I had to get a box and save the face workout for later. Got a punch card so I could give to a friend who loves the place. THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!!! it has your typical sandwich orders and make your own, but it also has soup and salads. There bread is home made and it is very sanitary. The conditions are great the workers look like they enjoy themselves and, the bathrooms are even clean. Highly recommend!!! read more

Don't waste your time or money going to Biankini's. The food is overpriced and the service is terrible. Tables were not cleaned after each patron. I ordered a sandwich and told the counter person twice that I did not want onions and garlic Mayo. This simple sandwich took a long time to make. When it was brought to my table the server did not provide any napkins. I had to go to the counter again to get them. Despite my the fact that the counter person acknowledged my sandwich was not to have onions and garlic Mayo the sandwich had both. This is not the first time they had gotten my order wrong. When I brought this issue to one of the workers she didn't do anything to rectify their mistake. When I told her I was never going to eat there again, she flippantly said "Bye". If you are into overpriced food, slow service, dirty tables, and rude counter help, this is the place for you! read more

Honestly I'm furious. The prices + proportions are outrageous. It was 10.50$ for a third of a sandwich and maybe 5 bites of soup. My husband got a full Cuban sandwich and was still starving. It's so sad because this place has amazing tasting food but honestly I will not go here anymore. It's just not worth the money. If you want a good sandwich for an awesome price I suggest going to pickle barrel instead. If you do decide to go here expect to pay 12.00 for a small average sandwich that does not include chips or a drink. read more

After looking at all of the pictures I am starting to think I ordered wrong! The items look delicious. We went at the lunch rush so it was a little bit crowded and it being my first time there didn't matter to a crowd of hungry college kids. Only kidding. I ordered one of the sandwiches and I think they were able to do it gluten free or had some kind of bread that didn't have gluten in it so that was what I got. They had a good assortment of drinks, I got a huckleberry lemonade in a tin bottle. They seem to stay pretty busy and if you ask any of the locals what they think of this place you won't be able to get them to stop raving about it. I am going to try this place again the next time I am in town and try something different than I did my original time so I can get a wide range of appreciation for the menu. read more

I love the food here. The soup is some of the best I have had in the state of MT. The service on the other hand has been less than what I was use to. The last three times I have been hear and tried to get my points for free food they forget to ask or I ask and they tell me it's to late. Very frustrating to say the least. And if you order a sandwich to go check before you go. Had an order switched and no pickle. I guess to go orders don't get pickles any more. Just plain lack of service. read more

First couple of experiences here were amazing! Big sandwiches and very tasty, felt like a great deal. Then came back a several months after opening and the sandwich prices were still high and the size and flavor went way down. I just came back from a trip through Las Vegas and I ate at a pretty famous deli there. The prices were almost identical and the sandwich here at Biankini's was a fraction the size and not even a quarter the flavor. Obviously I don't expect miracles from our little town but its a Reuben, surely a flavorful one can be sourced locally? I will give them another shot, hopefully the value increases. read more

For awhile this place was a favorite. We hit it up today after not being here for awhile. I was disappointed. Although the food continues to be good, the service was not great (the cashier was downright rude), and the sandwiches took forever. Also, if anyone in your party orders salad, they are ready right away, but then they either have to eat in front of anyone in their party who has ordered (and is waiting for) sandwiches or sit and stare at there food while their party eats. Each time I visit Biankini's I ask the person taking my order their recommendations and then usually try that. I've had the #3 and #8 sandwiches, both were very good! This last time I went I got the 1/2 sandwich and soup and that was the perfect portion and just enough food. My first visit I was a little surprised by their prices for a sandwich, but realize their ingredients are fresh and you get more than you would taste wise than a typical deli. This place is so clean - I love that. I had the chicken and coconut soup and the arugula and pear salad. It was really fresh and excellent. My husband had the chicken fajita sandwich. I didn't actually get to try the food. The experience reminded me of a visit to the Soviet Union in 1984. You wait in one place to order, you wait in another place to tell the server what you want in a salad, you wait in a third place to order sandwiches. At least, I wasn't asked to pay in rubles. I was trapped behind two large families with cranky kids that couldn't determine what they wanted to order. After 30 minutes with no food nor a chance to even order food, I walked out. To the owner: If you plan to serve working stiffs (like me), please make the process of ordering and obtaining food go faster. I would not recommend this place to any one. My son and I ordered to half sandwiches with a cup of soup and barely ate any of it due to extremely sub par ingredients and the actual inability to eat it because the bread, (which was recommended by an employee), was like eating a boot sole. The lettuce was brown, the tomatoes were slimy and old and they didn't dress it with anything, like the pesto mayo that was supposed to be on it. This place is right by my house and I go all the time (probably too much ha). The people are friendly, service is prompt even when it's packed, which during lunch hour is often. I've bought their soups frozen to take home and haven't had one I disliked. Their sandwiches are AWESOME on their homemade ciabatta bread.
