It's been 3.5 years since I've had one of their pizzas. Even though more expensive than what I usually get, in seeing their ads, and my hankering for pizza, I decided to use DoorDash, and have them deliver an X-Large Lite (read, thin) Romano-Parma crusted, Italian Sausage and Pineapple, with extra top cheese. And while, like the first time, the cheese didn't stretch much. But, the crust was perfectly baked and the sweetness of the Pineapple, really goes great with the spiciness of the Italian Sausage. But, overall, an excellent pizza. Being an X-Large, I'll get 3-4 meals (2 dinners + 2 lunches, or 3 dinners). So, definitely a good deal for the price. Marco's Pizza does a good job so after a day out on the lake we decided place an order. We went with a couple of thin crust pizzas topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and green peppers. The driver got lost so the pizzas arrived way past the estimated delivery time. Thankfully the quality was still there. All of the toppings were fresh and flavorful. They did not overload the pizzas with cheese so they were not greasy. Marco's Pizza is Milledgeville newest edition of the 10 plus pizza restaurants in town. One thing is for sure, Milledgeville sure does love pizza. I was at this Marco's pizza location for their grand opening and lucky enough to be number 43 in line when they were giving the first 100 customers free pizza for a year. That's right! I got free pizza for a year! Anyway this location is very nice and clean; it has that brand new pizza restaurant smell to it. The new staff was still in training, but did an outstanding job at taking care of everyone in line that morning. The menu at Marco's looks great; they have a wide selection of items that I will have to visit again to try; everything from salads to subs and of course pizza. I had the meaty supremo pizza and it was great, but next time I'll go for the white pie, which is suppose to be their award winning pie. Welcome to Milledtgeville Marco's! Don't confuse fast food style pizza with pizzeria made pizza. Marcos Pizza promotes Italian style but it's fast food pizza. I had a pizza made with mozzarella and cheddar cheese which I did not think was a good combination. The cheddar flavor overpowered the mozzarella with a burnt cheddar cheese flavor. This pizza is with the caliber of dominoes and hungry howies albeit closer to Pizza Hut. Not a fan of fast food pizza but Milledgeville lacks a NY style pizzeria. read more

We just ate at Marcos Pizza. Been waiting forever to give it a try. We was very disappointed in whole experience. The stuff was arguing almost each other. The server we only seen twice.When we sit down & when we went to check out. I had to get up get our silverware & our refills on drinks. My greek salad was about only thing worth eating. Wings was tough like they was over cooked. We will never eat there again . So was worth the price the family paid. read more

I've eaten at Marcos in other towns and have always enjoyed the food, however this Marco's is the exception. There were only 2 other tables, but our server had to take our drink order twice and after 5 minutes of watching him deliver food, silverware, and drinks to the other customers we still didn't get our drinks much less an opportunity to order ! Service was horrible. Went to eat dinner with my family and manager said the dine in was closed. We walked in at 7:55z. When we asked him what time does the dine in close he replied, while scratching his head, 8. No notice was on the door, as the door said the store closed at 10. We were in Milledgeville for Memorial Day celebration at the Georgia Veterans cemetery. Afterwards we started out seeking a place for lunch. We had seen our favorite pizza place on the way to the cemetery and went back to Marcos pizza and had a fantastic lunch. We got the small deluxe uno with all the free extras. Garlic butter crust, parm cheese crust, and Roma crust, man was this pizza very fresh and delicious!! We have enjoyed this chain in other locations and it is always so good. When Marcos first opened they had the best pizza. Now the service is awful. My last three orders have been incorrect and the manager Jasmine does not seem to care if your order and the bill is correct or not. I had my birthday dinner here since there is plenty of space at the location for a gathering. The pizza is amazing, I'd say it holds a close tie to amicis pizza. The only negative issue I had as well as numerous people from my group and other guests there that day as well was the temperature inside was so hot everyone was literally sweating while eating and that is a miserable ordeal to have to deal with. read more
