This is one of our Main Street Zionsville faves. Service, food and ambience are ALWAYS on point…read more Made a reservation on at Tuesday evening to celebrate StepFather's for my hubby. This is definitely one of those restaurants that for us as a family, everyone can find something on the menu suited to their likes. My youngest got a kids steak which came with fries and a side of macaroni. He ate everything and we helped him finish his ample fries and macaroni. My oldest got the cioppino which he had never gotten before but LOVED. My hubby got the scallops on risotto, on menu as seafood risotto. Risotto had lobster in it. He loved this. And I got the grouper which I order almost every time and it hits every single time. Dessert was brownie and butter cake. The butter cake was comped for StepFathers Day which was a lovely gesture. Our server was attentive and amazing. For a family of 4 and none of us drinkers, total was about $180 without including tip. We will be back! Definitely make a reso and try this place. You will not be disappointed.

I recently dined at Noah Grant and had an enjoyable meal overall, though there were a few things…read morethat kept the experience from being exceptional. I began with the seafood bisque with shrimp and lobster and a Caesar salad with anchovies. The bisque was the highlight of the meal--rich, creamy, and generously filled with shrimp and lobster, making it both comforting and satisfying. The Caesar salad was equally well done. The crisp romaine, balanced dressing, freshly grated Parmesan, and anchovies gave it the authentic flavor I was looking for. For my entrée, I ordered the charbroiled oysters. While they were good, they weren't as smoky or as deeply charbroiled as I was expecting. Having enjoyed traditional Louisiana-style charbroiled oysters, I was hoping for more of that bold, buttery, garlic-forward flavor with a pronounced char from the grill. These were fresh and flavorful but much milder than anticipated. The only other disappointment was the service. Our server wasn't as attentive as I would have expected especially for the price we paid. We found ourselves waiting longer than necessary to place our order and was never checked on to see how our meal was. This took away from the overall dining experience. Despite those shortcomings, the quality of the seafood was evident, and I would consider returning to try other menu items. With a little more attention to service and a more authentic Louisiana-style approach to the charbroiled oysters, this could easily become one of my favorite seafood spots in Indianapolis.

I almost always get sushi, the steamed buns, the seaweed salad, and the miso soup. But truly, any dish on the menu is just so good. There are always some type of special on drinks and food. My absolute favorite part about Chiba is the wonderful service I get particularly from the owner. I dine here a lot so I've gotten to know the owner and sitting in the bar area while he is bartending is probably one of my favorite experiences. Not only does he makes some good drinks, but he is also super personable and carries a great conversation! Since this is one of my favorite restaurants, I am super biased in telling you all to come here and eat. You won't be disappointed !

My daughter and I went here with a friend and her three kids Tuesday for lunch. Parking was blehhhh…read moresince the construction is blocking off the road. Can't seem to get away from all the construction nowadays everywhere. Couldn't tell if the place was open but apparently it was at 1pm on a Tuesday. We get up the ramp and the place is dead but a server comes out pretty quickly. I see a sign that states its kids eat free on Tuesday. I get told by the server that it only is for dinner (even though there's no mention of that on the sign). I figured, oh well, lunch menus are typically cheaper. It's fine. EXCEPT ITS NOT - it's like $25 is the average lunch option on the paper menu within the menu - the cheapest option would have been a "light green salad" for $16. On the kids menu itself, it ALSO states kids eat free with adult menu purchase of $20+. I ask the server again and she says "this is just what the owners told me." So word of advice to the owners - don't be advertising something and not holding up your end of the bargain. I don't have a "customer is always right" mentality, I have a "keep your word & don't false advertise" mentality. Pros: Food was good. Service was fine. Ambience was nice sans the bugs. Cons: obviously the price. Obviously the false advertising. Bugs were nonstop in our faces and food but we dealt. It was hot out so to be expected. Drinks were served in alcoholic beverage cups for the kiddos which was weird.
