I try to have lunch at Bibibop at least once a month because I love the fresh and tasty ingredients that make up the bowls. This was my first visit to the location near Keystone. The dining room is signature Bibibop decorated in white and orange with flowers on the table. My husband and I each designed our own bowls and took advantage of the meatless Monday specials. We both had the fried tofu. I especially enjoyed the pickled onions and the kimchi. These bowls are healthy and tasty. I topped mine with yum yum sauce. My husband was more adventurous and opted for sriracha sauce. I also enjoy the miso soup on the side. The soup is light and flavorful. Service was ok. We came towards the end of the lunch hour and the staff was busy. The tables needed to be cleaned when we sat. I was able to wipe one down with a few napkins. read more

We've seen these spots popping up all over Indy and were excited to finally try one -- we love a good Asian bowl. Unfortunately, this was a big letdown. We honestly couldn't even eat it. The beef was full of gristle and fat, the produce was soft and seemed past its prime, and the sauce options just didn't work for us. Maybe if there had been less sauce, it would've been more tolerable, but the whole bowl was overwhelmed. To top it off, we paid more than expected for a quick lunch (that we couldn't even finish). I would say normally my experience here is excellent however this time it was not. I came in for my order told them my name and there must've been an issue with the app because it hadn't gone through. I sat down re-ordered it and waited and they never once told me it was ready even though they took my name so I waited longer than I needed to just because they were being petty because there was an issue. I was a little skeptical because you have to build your own bowl and I like to defer to chefs selections of what combinations work, but for this BYO works. You can go half and half, so I went with a mix of the sweet potato noodles and kale salad as my base just to have additional veggies. Then add all the veggies/toppings you want. They have multiple protein options, including tofu, which was delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Get the sauces and don't be afraid to combine a few. You can get them on the side if you prefer. Great option for a quick, inexpensive meal. read more

We were served as soon as we stepped up to the counter, I was served by Alondra, she was super sweet and nothing but smiles. This is a wonderful venue where you build your own protein bowl and can your choice of toppings as well in your bowl. They have a selection of teas and lemonade to choose from as well at a separate beverage station where it is unlimited refills. The ginger tea and mixed berry tea were my favorite. The ambiance is very nice and attractive looking, and a good venue for hanging out with friends or family. The service is nice and professional. It is basically an assembly line like a cafeteria where you start choosing the base for your bowl (brown rice, white rice, kale, sushi rice, etc.), and then you chose your protein (chicken, salmon, beef, etc.), and then it is on to the toppings. You can then pick your choice of sauce (yum yum, sweet and sour,.etc.) to finish off your bowl. This is a great concept and the best part is it's healthy and good for you which is top quality in my book. I chose a salmon bowl with some toppings and yum sauce and it was delicious! I'm a trainer at Crunch Fitness on Keystone, and I come here to Bibibop often. I am always pleased with the food, the service, and the food. Did I mention the food is good? The manager, Shim, is very involved and usually the one to greet me and prepare the food. She is always busy and works hard because I come during the peak lunch hour, but food always comes with a smile. The options are delicious, and there are many to choose from. For the base of your bowl, choose from a super-greens salad, white rice, purple rice, or glass noodles in traditional Korean style. Hot toppings include black beans, baked potatoes, sesame-roasted broccoli, and bean sprouts. You can have all of them or none of them, up to you! There are lots of cold toppings, so you can choose more familiar flavors like carrots, corn, cucumbers, and eggs, OR you can try the more Korean flavors and have kimchi and purple cabbage as well. For proteins, there is chicken, spicy chicken, steak, Korean BBQ (which is my favorite), and tofu as a vegetarian option. They use a measuring cup so you won't get a tiny amount, but a standard size every time. There are some delicious sauces too. I have only tried the Gochujang sauce, which is sweet and spicy and definitely has a kick to it, so watch out. Some of my coworkers love the Yum-Yum sauce, which is a mayo-based savory sauce. Had lunch today with friends at Bibibop Asian Gill on 82nd Street. It's an Asian fusion restaurant set up like Chipotle where you create your own meal on an assembly line kitchen. I opted for the noodle based spicy chicken with kimchi, bean sprouts, red cabbage and egg and topped it with sesame ginger and spicy sriracha sauces. I ordered the small portion which was plenty big enough for lunch. I'm looking forward to a return visit to try a different protein ( chicken, spicy chicken, steak, organic tofu or Korean bbq are the options) and instead of noodles try a different base ( purple rice, white rice, super green salad or sweet potato noodles are the options). Outside of that easy handicap parking. Roomy enough for even power chairs can maneuver around. The booth tables are taller than most, and I could sit in my wheelchair and eat comfortably. The seats of the booths are slabs of hardwood, and I found them way too uncomfortable for me when I transferred to one. The people who work there are very nice and seem to really enjoy working there. Next is the protein - tofu, steak, chicken or spicy chicken. Last you can add a sauce. Or go without sauce - there is also a sauce bar where you can add the sauce yourself. They have chef bowls of predesigned meals. My wife goes this route. I always build my own. Use the app and get $5 off and build loyalty points. There are also many drinks and free miso soup. This place puts you in the mind of "Piada" or a "qdoba" as far as the food layout is concerned. You have the options to choose from your base (rice, sweet potato noodle or cabbage) next you can choose your veggies (black beans, bean sprouts, potatoes, roasted sesame broccoli, shredded carrots, SWEET kimchi, corn, cucumbers,etc) next was the protein- different chicken & beef/steak and sauces. I did see there were a few sauces but I stuck to the gochujang sauce that was suggested for my bowl. The only drawback my daughter told me to be sure to mention when I write my review is that the kimchi was too sweet/sour. I personally am not a fan of it but she is a kimchi connoisseur & she said it's nothing like she's tasted before. I loved the ambiance, it has a very bright & clean aesthetic. The white booths (I called em pods) were super cute and I adored that each table had pretty orchids on them. From the cook staff to the girls on the line & the register- everyone was nice, Knowledgeable about the flavors & welcoming. Fresh-ish Korean bowls. Some items had clearly been hanging a while on the tables but you can tell they are trying not to have too much sitting to keep things fresh. They didn't have the sweet potato noodles to make the noodles for the bowl. Waited 10 min. Had an accident and spilled the tray. Had to wait another 10 for tofu. I would rather wait for fresh but know that if you hit them up between lunch and dinner, you may need to wait. I would have given them 4 stars but everyone vanished after we lost the tray and when we brought it to their attention, nobody offered to clean up the spilled tray and we had to do it ourselves. Not a huge deal but weird and made things awkward. When you tip for counter service and buy your food a second time, it would be nice to have some help cleaning up. We could have just left it but that would make us the AH. read more

I have to say, I'm a serious sucker for the complimentary vegan miso soup - such a nice touch! My last few visits have included a combination of japchae noodles (also known as glass or sweet potato noodles), vary veggies, kimchi and sesame seed oil along with the sesame ginger sauce. To top it all off, the mango coconut pudding is also dairy free (and so darned good!). The staff here was on their a-game. Every bowl I have ever gotten until today was always to dry. You mix everything up and it just needs more sauce. This sauce bar just made me happy! I went with the build your own bowl option. For the base I went with half white rice half sweet potato noodles. This was a better option for me. I liked the mix of having both. The next section I just went with a small amount of black beans. Now the veggie section I went crazy. I wanted all but the kale, cucumbers & pineapple. For my protein I went with the steak. This was the first time I didn't order chicken and it was okay. The steak was a bit tuff. But I liked the flavor. Tofo is an option if you want to go vegetarian. Now the sauces, that where I always get overwhelmed. I never know what to get. I went with the yum yum sauce and teriyaki. The staff member could tell I had no clue and that when I found out about the glorious sauce bar! My bowl was about $10 and I could not eat it all. I tried a couple of the sauces off the bar and I liked the addition of the spicy ones. While we were there they were out of forks and soup bowls. So eating noodles with a soup spoon was not the easiest thing to do. And I missed getting the free miso soup. read more

Have been waiting to try this place for quite a while, and a flyer for bogo did it finally. Really enjoyed the food and the concept of healthy food in a chipotle style. Food was fresh and excellent. Portions were greatly generous for a reasonable price. One bowl was more than enough for a good eater like me. Ambience was quiet and neat, and with few cabin like setups caught my attention. Staffs were really courteous and never bothered to answer all the questions I had regarding some of the items. This place is located in a strip mall near fashion mall keystone area, hence parking was super easy with plenty of spots to choose from.
