We celebrated my husband's birthday at Coopers Hawk in Avon. We enjoyed a delicious wine tasting before dinner and we discovered new wines that we loved. The wine sommelier was easy to talk with, very knowledgeable and quick with a laugh and a smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We then enjoyed dinner sitting in the bar which is my favorite area in the restaurant. It's cozy and chic and the noise level is non existent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We both enjoyed our dinner and service was great too. They also have a happy hour and we devoured a $10 app of tempura shrimp.

Brunch at Cooper's Hawk is now a must on my weekend plans! I've been going 3 weekends in a row now - obsessed, I know- and it has been great! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is always good and the ambiance is perfect for a relaxed meal, but Brunch is a whole vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every time I go I see more people there. The brunch sangria is AMAZING! And everything I've tried from the brunch menu is delicious, my absolute favorite is the pizza. I'll definitely keep coming back!

We stopped in for a glass of wine each and to share an appetizer in mid-afternoon. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Magan. She offered us two tastings each to try before making our wine selections. All four were each a good size tasting pour. I decided to go with an Australian Shiraz and my friend selected a Spanish Tempranillo. Both were excellent! We then ordered the Caprese Flatbread to share. It was beautifully presented and tasted great. My friend is on a gluten-free diet and Magan said she could give us a gluten-free bun to share instead of bread, which was perfect. I enjoy the Cooper Wine locations both in Orlando and when I travel. This restaurant was a perfect stop for an afternoon pick me up.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cooper's Hawk is a relaxing environment, perfect for a GNO or date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer wine tastings and also offer a monthly membership program if you're a wine loverrrr. They also have wine themed merch available in store, which is perfect if you need to snag a last minute gift for a loved one. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the bar area for this visit. Although, I do enjoy sitting on the patio when the weather is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has a good variety of options so there is something for everyone. I ordered the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs. The meat was rich and savory and paired perfectly with the mashed potatoes that were smothered in a delicious wine sauce. The portion size was generous and I had enough for lunch the next day. The hostess and server were friendly, service was excellent, + our server checked in on us several times to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Cooper's Hawk can tend to get busy during peak times, so you might want to make a reservation, but we usually have great luck with getting a table in the bar area.

The brunch sangria was great and flavorful. I am not a typical wine drinker but like their sangrias. The candied bacon BLT was flavorful. The smoked Brisket is a top 2 ever for a brunch anywhere. Amazing.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite the predictable rush of a busy Valentine's Day, Cooper's Hawk managed to maintain a welcoming and comfortable climate that didn't feel overwhelmed by the crowd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It served as the perfect backdrop for a birthday celebration, balancing a lively energy with attentive hospitality.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The menu consistently delivers, even at peak capacity, the restaurant managed to keep a pleasant "vibe" that allowed for a great dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Top-Tier Service: The standout of the night was the staff. From the waitress to the supporting team, the service was polite, proactive, and remarkably consistent. They managed to keep a close eye on the table without being intrusive. My mom throughly enjoyed her birthday.

A small group of us stopped in here earlier this month to celebrate a friend's birthday. The wine was delicious- one of the women in our group is a member of their wine club and used 2 of her bottles for the table, so we split a chocolate wine and a mango wine. I tried the mango wine and then ordered a red wine flight because I like dry reds vs sweet wines. I loved every single one, but the Cabernet was my favorite. Our server was really sweet, but he put in my food order wrong, so I wasn't able to try the red wine short rib risotto like I was had been wanting. Instead, the red wine short ribs came out. They were very good! But I had really wanted risotto, so I'll have to come back and try them another time. The only downside to the evening was that service was incredibly slow when it came time to pay. Our server would take only one card/bill at a time and be gone for several minutes, but we were seated quite close to the stand where you cash out. This really added a lot of time to our stay for a table of 8. He also accidentally charged someone for the wrong bill and then had to refund it and recharge her for the correct bill. Overall, it was such a fun night out and I love that we have so many great options for food in Avon. I would definitely recommend you stop in for your next date night out or girls night out if you haven't been in before!

I have always enjoyed going to Cooper's Hawk Winery on the Northside. But this was my first time at the Avon location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the restaurant definitely had a newer more modern look. I loved how open the dining area was[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Our waitress was awesome! She was so attentive and constantly checked on us. I ordered the Passion Fruit sangria. For $10, it was a great deal. I ordered my favorite meal. The parmesan crusted chicken. The food was so good. Better than I remembered. Overall, the service was great and the food was excellent. I think the Avon trumps the Northside location.

Food was delicious. Service was fantastic. I recommend the Calamari as an app- pair it with Prosecco! The fish was yummy too.

A 50th Birthday celebration was planned to reunite a group of people who share a love for the guest of honor. Several of us had flown in from the West coast. A couple of us waited at the bar until all arrived. When inquiring what non-alcoholic options were available, an excited bartender offered to whip up a fruity drink. It was good, but a miss on their part - no mocktail menu?! I just don't get restaurants leaving money on the table and neglecting this ever growing sober adult population. We were promptly seated to accommodate our larger than expected party (grown kids joined). All was going well until food was served and one of the guests tasted mustard (she HATES) in her surf and turf selection, that was not disclosed on the menu. She politely excused herself and tried talking to the manager privately, but was sent back to the group and the manager came over, causing a disruption, as she was seated right next to the guest of honor. He explained how the dish was prepared without acknowledging that the menu was amiss at not divulging its preparation. I had chose the spaghetti bolognese with meatballs, and much like the above mentioned situation, instead of the savory sauce I was expecting, it was a spicy red sauce with pepper flakes. I would have never ordered it had the menu properly described the entree, but I chose to keep quiet considering, I too, was seated next to the birthday girl. While the manager agreed to replace the mustard pork chops with medallions, the kitchen served the replacement, followed by another confused server with a second dish of medallions. Apparently their communication is lacking. To add insult, the guest was charged for both the medallions and the pork chops, leaving an unsavory taste and less than expected experience, which should have been seamless. No mention or attempt to 'celebrate' our guest's epic occasion by way of acknowledging it or offering a complimentary dessert was made. Let me add that not one or two people came through to prompt the purchase of wine before closing, but THREE people interrupted our conversations to peddle their wine. Get. It. Together. Overall, I wouldn't go back unless they committed to throughly reviewing and editing their menu, considering all guest needs; allergies and otherwise, and making a commitment to improving their guest experience. The price of the menu is too high to have guests leave unhappy. Nope.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent service, cuisine and ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend it. I dined with a friend on the earlier side. We knew this place is popular so we did make a reservation the day before. I arrived early and enjoyed browsing their gift shop and tasting room offerings while I waited. If I was not boarding a plane the next day, I'm certain I would have purchased multiple bottles along with my trinkets. Dinner specials were well varied and our server did an excellent job explaining how the wine pairing selections worked with the menu. She also did us the favor of relieving all the pressure of following that and said to drink what we like. I started with a glass of rose our server recommended that was the perfect mix of fruity and dry, not overly sweet. The lux Meritage was my personal favorite. My Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked, with a crispy sear on the outside and very moist all the way to its flaky center. The accompanying mixture of dressed veggies underneath the savory fish was a tasty pairing. Although we decimated the warm yummy bread and enjoyed our wine before dinner, I ate my entire meal. It was too good not to finish every last bite. My friend had the bruschetta and a soup, both she said were excellent. No room for dessert.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing decor, great service, and most of the food was fantastic at a recent visit to Cooper's Hawk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Deep, clean, lines and wood accents inside make for a luxurious dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered egg rolls, flatbread, and bruschetta as appetizers to split. Everything was excellent with the egg rolls just being a superstar. Highly recommend. They had Jai Alai, my favorite beer as a selection and just a multitude of wines. Everything was great and I was very excited about the jambalaya I ordered for my main course. Unfortunately, the most mild, bland jambalaya I've had. A disappointment for sure when everything else was so elevated and excellent. The experience was enough to get me back, I just know I'll be trying a different main dish. I recommend Cooper's Hawk if you're in the mood for some elevated dining and especially if you love wine.

When I had first visited and found out that they do wine bingo, I knew I had to come back. My bestie and I used to love going to Wine Market & Table for wine bingo, but after they closed a few years ago we never found anyone else who did it. Solely Wine has solved that! They have a nice selection of wines available by the glass, but they also have a much larger selection of wines, separated by type, that you can buy by the bottle (you can't grab them yourself off the shelf, a staff member has to do that) to open and drink there or take home. My friends and I each started out with just a glass of wine and then ended up buying some bottles to share while playing bingo since we were staying for a few hours and it was a better price point to share bottles. It can get expensive buying by the glass. They also have some snacks/appetizers available for purchase if you get hungry. The inside has lots of different seating options: cozy arm chairs and couches, large family-dinner-style tables, and smaller tables along the windows. They also have a beautiful patio! Towards the back they also have an art gallery and additional seating, although I don't think that space is always open. The bathroom is kept very clean and the staff are helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another girls night.

The chardonnay was so smooth and delicious, that I walked down the street to his tasting room. The cozy upscale bar is FILLED with Hopwood wines and bourbons. His staff is very knowledgeable on the wines, and the ambiance is beautiful. The Cabernet Sauvignon is my personal favorite wine. They also have a great Chardonnay as well. The winery does sell flights of wine so you can sample a few wines. The wine milkshakes are supposedly out of this world, so I would stop by before the end of June 2025 to try one, or else you will miss out on the opportunity.
