I had a very good experience here! I am typically a Panera regular from down the way, but I was aiming for something with less calories. It was my first time trying Bibibop, and it delivered. The food was fresh and really yummy. The "small" size was really filling for me, and packed with my selections. It felt like I was getting my money's worth. The strawberry-hibiscus lemonade was also really good. I had ordered ahead of time to lesson the wait, in the event there would be, and the girl that had greeted me was really polite. I must have looked really out of place because she directed me to the pickup shelf. That was really helpful. As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was very good. I went in the morning, so it wasn't as busy. I stayed from 10:40 to noon ish. I think my only quarrel with the space is that there aren't any charging ports. But that's not a reason to avoid going. Just remember to charge your devices if you plan on doing work there while eating. read more

Unfortunately, I have to drop down my score for this particular location. I went 2x in a week to give them a shot. I went at different times of the day as well. First visit was probably within 30 minutes of opening and they were already out of many items. I noticed a large catering order getting placed, group of individuals waiting for online orders, and door dashers. They were using several of the tables to fulfill the catering order. The back of the house just appeared chaotic as staff were scrambling to refill items. One staff person was trying to handle the line and he looked like he was drowning. My second visit was between lunch and dinner times, so it was less crowded. However, once again staff seemed to be scrambling. It was almost like no one wanted to help guests in line. So overall, I think if you are doing mobile order to go, then ok. However, if you are wanting to dine in, my last 2 visits were not very friendly. read more

Loyal Customer, But This Location Has Completely Lost My Trust... I've been a loyal customer at the Oak Brook BIBIBOP since it opened in 2023 -- over $1,200 spent so far ($137.69 in 2025, $439.09 in 2024, $669.70 in 2023). I'm not sharing that to brag -- I feed a large family, and this has been one of our go-to spots. I mention it to show how one reckless employee can damage both a brand's reputation and its financial bottom line. I used to love this place... until my recent visit completely changed that. I placed a mobile order and arrived a few minutes after the pickup time. My order wasn't on the shelf (which isn't unusual here), so I asked an employee -- the one shown in my attached photo/videos -- for help. What should've been a quick lookup turned into a total headache. I provided my name, confirmation number, and even showed my order email, yet he insisted it wasn't in the system. When he asked to hold my phone and I politely declined, his attitude instantly changed, and he claimed he would no longer help me. Seriously -- when did it become mandatory for people to hold your personal device? The whole idea of mobile and contactless ordering came from avoiding unnecessary contact during a global health crisis. I'm not a germaphobe, but keep your crusty hands off my device. This is exactly where true management leadership makes the difference. A real manager would have offered an apology for the inconvenience, checked the system, and if the order truly wasn't found, simply remade the meal on the spot. Instead, this employee escalated things for no reason -- and unbelievably, tried to have me trespassed by the Oak Brook Police Department. My video shows everything, from the counter interaction to the parking lot. When I returned after running a quick errand, the officer was already inside. He met me at the door holding my meal. I asked if it was safe to eat -- and he said he couldn't answer that. There's no way I was eating anything from this location after that interaction, so I donated it to a local shelter instead. Throughout the conversation with the officer, the same employee kept coming out and antagonizing the situation, even after being told to stay separate -- completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, no one in the store wears name tags, making accountability impossible. I was handed a generic business card and told to "follow up," which I plan to do. If anyone in the Yelp community or at corporate can identify the individual in my photo/videos, please do. He needs to be retrained, put on probation, or let go -- before more customers experience the same. And please, stop blaming "POS technical issues." You have a mobile app -- step up your game. These excuses are outdated and do nothing but frustrate loyal customers who just want the food they paid for. After thinking about it, I realized I can make most of their food at home anyway. Honestly, I've always had quiet concerns about food quality here -- there's been more than one occasion where I found something questionable in my bowl. After spending this much money and receiving zero kindness, empathy, or basic customer care, walking away from this location is surprisingly easy. Finding this place made me so happy! Being gluten-free and traveling can make it difficult to find good food sometimes depending on the city. So while visiting Oakbrook, Illinois -- I walked in, hoping that I would find one or two dishes that were gluten-free and found out that everything there is gluten-free. Woohoo! Way to go BIBIBOP!! They use gluten-free tamari sauce to cook and to make their sauces. That said, it seems to be after chipotle where you choose a base of rice, noodles or salad, and then add a protein and then toppings/vegetables and sauce. I got the spicy chicken on a salad base, and added beans, broccoli, carrots, cucumber, cabbage and Kimchi. And then added the Yum Yum. Most of the sides you can have as much as you want except for things like avocado, which is more expensive so they charge a bit extra. After we paid for our food, we realized that there was a big pot of miso soup that you can help yourself to, which was a bonus !! The miso soup was a nice, hot treat on a cool, rainy day, with a mild flavor that could be ideal for those who prefer something not so spicy. BIBIBOP way exceeded my expectations. My son who is not gluten-free really enjoyed his meal also. We are both foodies. Also, I want to give a shout out to Kami who worked there. My new favorite fast casual spot! I've seen more and more of these pop up and now I understand the hype. There are a few pre-made bowls to choose from or you can walk through the assembly line and create your own. I created my own with a base of half sweet potato noodles and half purple rice. The rice was a tad dry and clumpy but both were great! I did the chicken as my protein and added a whole bunch of toppings - kale, carrots, egg, red cabbage, cucumbers, and pineapple. The pineapple was extra which the server kindly reminded me before adding to my bowl which was thoughtful. I also got a side of teriyaki sauce. The portion was very filling. Who doesn't love Bibibop?! As a long time goer of Bibibop at their other locations, this Oak Brook location reigns supreme. I've been here quite a few times since they opened and every time it was a hit. The staff here is constantly making fresh food. There's never anything cold, stale, or old. They have it displayed nicely, as well, and differently from other locations (served from tins/big bowls as opposed to Chipotle-style where it's in the countertop like some other Bibibop locations). This space itself is quite large with more than enough seating inside. Parking is conveniently right outside, along with their outdoor patio with a few tables. The food... hold my drink. I could go on and on about Bibibop. I absolutely love their steak, spicy chicken, yum yum sauce, literally all their sides, their miso soup - like I said, I could go on and on. I seriously get every single side on my bowl besides pineapple, and always have to get it drizzled with their yum yum sauce and teriyaki sauce. Did I mention their miso soup is complimentary, as well? You get a lot of food for a good price, too, and like I said earlier, it's always fresh. So happy to see Bibibop open up in more places. Fast casual Korean food bowls are great for lunch or dinner. You can order a small or original size bowl, and they'll both be plenty filling. I love that you can basically order bibimbap or you can customize the bowl to your liking. You can get white or purple rice, japchae noodles, or lettuce as your base. I personally like the japchae noodles and some purple rice. They have Korean BBQ beef which is bulgogi, but also offer steak, chicken, spicy chicken, tofu, or just veggie. So many options and toppings too! The interior is nice and spacious and there's outdoor seating with umbrellas. I'm a big fan of this place, and love coming back for more. read more

They have tofu, meat, gluten free and organic food here. Multiple options, build your own, pick one and add to it or just pick one. I've been wanting to try this for so long! I live close to the one in Naperville, which hasn't opened yet, and so this was a perfect opportunity to see what it's like. The restaurant is similar to Chipotle/Subway/Naf Naf, where you choose your base, protein and toppings. Everything is fresh, great portions and lots of spice and tang level options. This was my first time here so I did not know what to expect, but wow what a fantastic quick lunch option. They had a pretty decent patio which was half full at 11:45 on a Monday. The place overall was really clean and the order process was easy to follow. I opted to build my own bowl using the sweet potato noodles, which have a very nice subtle sweetness and flavor, and went a little out of my comfort zone adding kimchi, kale, and purple cabbage which all added a great crunch. The stars of the show are the spicy chicken and the incredibly tasty sesame ginger sauce. They both have way more flavor than i was expecting. I ordered a "Build your Own" Bowl . You choose a base so I chose white rice. Then hot toppings so I chose black beans and broccoli. Then you can choose some cold toppings such as corn,carrots,cheese,cucumber,eggs,kimchi,kale or picked red cabbage. Top it off with protein such as Korean BBQ,Spicey Chicken,Steak,Chicken or Tofu. Anytime my partner and I are trying to decide where to get take-out from, Bibibop is always on the shortlist. I cannot speak to the ordering in restaurant as we always place mobile orders but the food is always hot and ready when we come to pick it up. This is one of the newer spots that just opened up across from Costco facing Cermak and the food is delicious! I got the build your own with half sweet potato noodles and half purple rice, bean sprouts, carrots, broccoli, corn, kale and tofu. I got the gochujang sauce on top and side of kimchi also. Tofu was cooked perfect and had a slight kick to it! The kimchi was perfect (and I'm super picky bout kimchi). The sauce was actually super delicious and flavorful too, and not too salty like other places sauces are. My daughter is super picky me she got a build your own with rice, some basic veggies and the spicy chicken and she ate every bite of her bowl lol I also got the hibiscus lemonade and I love that it was not overly sweet. You pick the size of the entrée you would like, then walk alongside the front of the counter as the cheerful employee builds your bowl. You pick your base (noodles, rice, or greens), then hot toppings (like roasted broccoli or potatoes), cold toppings (like carrots, corn, or cheese), protein (like chicken, steak, or tofu), and sauce (like Yum Yum or teriyaki). This restaurant is so perfect for someone like me. I have been eating gluten free for about ten years. I don't have to worry about cross-contamination since Bibibop is 100% gluten free. And as a vegetarian, I appreciate that they offer an all-veggie option or tofu. Also, I don't drink soda, so I appreciate the area next to the soda machine with three iced tea flavors and three lemonades. You can drink them individually, but I like to mix them together. My favorite is Mixed Berry Omija Tea combined with Hibiscus Lemonade. And if you are watching calories, the Black Current Tea is really flavorful and has just two calories per serving. I've eyeballed this restaurant on Uber eats for months! It always looked too healthy to be tasty, but today I got the chance to dine at Bibibop in person and boyy was I wrong. Not only is their food healthy, but it taste divine. I choose to build a custom bowl. I added spicy chicken, sweet potato noodles, potatoes, purple rice, kimchee, corn, cheese, broccoli, and a little black bean. Last but definitely not least, I added the ginger teriyaki sauce which elevated the entire dish. They had multiple refreshing lemonade & teas. I mixed sweetened green tea, passionfruit lemonade, & mixed berry omija tea. The servers were patient and friendly. They gave my mom and I compliments on our smiles and feedback when we were unsure what to add to our bowls. The ambiance was nice. I liked the exposed ductwork. It gave a modern industrial vibe. Chicken was good too but the protein is around 1/6 of the bowl and the topping options great. Good glass noodles, weird purple rice, kimchi, corn, broccoli, cabbage, eggs, cheese, etc. Lots of sauce options, i usually get gochujang and yum yum sauce. Only issue is it is half salad, half rice/ protein bowl so it isn't as good reheated and kinda turns to mush. Obviously not their fault, just something to consider. There is usually a bit of a line, but with how quick the workers are, it always goes by quickly and the little bit of a wait is worth it. I got a regular sized bowl with sweet potato noodles, black beans, bean sprouts, corn, sesame kale, carrots, red cabbage and kimchi, spicy chicken for protein, and gochujang/teriyaki sauce. I LOVEEE sweet potato noodles, it was cooked perfectly and chewy! As for the toppings, I really enjoyed all, especially the sesame kale and kimchi. The egg looked very interesting.. so I decided to pass but regretted it, my partner got a steak & noodle bowl that came with egg and it was so good! Located in the new Oak Brook plaza off 22nd between Costco and Kingery Hwy, it's a quick and casual spot. Pick your bowl size, choose your base (salad, rice, noodle), various veggie banchans, sauces, and meat topper and BOOM your done. Love they offer Korean purple rice. While I thought the broccoli and potatoes were random offerings, I found it makes a great filler and I seem to find myself dipping these the most into the various sauces they have to offer. For now, I've only tried their beef options (traditional steak and Korean BBQ beef) yet they do also offer chicken, spicy chicken and tofu options. Anyways, as I mentioned it's a casual spot. I created my own bowl, and got purple rice, noodles, beans, kale, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, potatoes, pineapple, kimchi, spicy chicken, tofu, and mixed the yum yum sauce with the gochujang sauce. Gochujang has a bit of spice but not overwhelming while the yum yum toned it down. I loved everything about this bowl, and it was even good as leftovers. The restaurant itself is clean; the workers were very friendly and helpful in recommendations. They also have a good selection of beverages, I got the mixed berry tea with a splash of passion fruit lemonade. Yum! I'm excited for the Naperville location to open up as it's a bit closer to me. Was searching Yelp for "healthy fast food" when this placed showed up in the results. I was intrigued, so I ordered the limited time Well B-ing Meal and the Bibibop Fan Favorite bowl. I must say, for the price these bowls are huge and very filling. Everything was fresh and delicious which was a refreshing change from your typical fast food. The Korean BBQ in particular was very flavorful and not chewy, and the chicken was ok, although I would like to try the spicy version on my next visit for a bit more seasoning. That being said, the overall flavor of both bowls was phenomenal, even without any sauces added, which was a relief as I wasn't sure how some of the items would taste together. Both bases we chose - red rice and sweet potato noodles, were delicious, particularly the noodles. We also really liked the potatoes, sesame kale, kimchi, and cheese. The roasted sesame broccoli was good and cooked enough that it didn't feel like eating raw broccoli like you sometimes find in other Asian dishes. We didn't care for the carrots, simply because they contain cilantro, which for my husband tastes like soap. I think it would be helpful if the cilantro was mentioned when choosing the carrots during the mobile ordering process. As for the sauces, we liked the ginger teriyaki best, followed by the yum yum sauce. The gochujang sauce was a bit too spicy for me. I would like to try the spicy yum yum and sesame ginger sauces in the future. The cookie that came with the meal was tastier than it looked, although I wouldn't go out of my way to get a cookie at all in the future simply because I don't usually order a dessert.
