Toastee sandwich on a Jerusalem bagel
    Lola M.

First off, Dan (the owner) was at the register taking orders and was so very welcoming. We had never been to Bibi's before, but the baked goods looked amazing. We both got the Toastee sandwich where you pick a cheese, a sauce and any veggies on the list which included vegan peperoni. The sandwich is served on either a Jerusalem bagel or a pita. Of course I went with the bagel! Well, these toasted sandwiches were amazing. The Jerusalem bagel was huge, perfectly toasted and delicious. No matter what you choose to put on it, it can't be bad. There's no indoor seating so we ate outside at one of the sidewalk tables. Our food was brought to us outside. Before we left we grabbed a bag of beautiful pitas and a pretzel bagel to go. They have a lot of items I want to try, everything looked good. I can definitely recommend coming here because the people are very nice and the food is terrific. It really made me happy!

I come for the pita!! It's So soft, pillowy and beautifully made.. Way better than any pita that can be bought in the store. Hands down the best, and I've had a lot of pita!

For the money, the biscuit egg sandwich was fresh and delicious funny it was the least expensive item on the menu, and the biscuit was huge

I was looking for some spinach knish but unfortunately, they don't make them here. I bought two potato and mushroom bourekas. They were pretty good but I had some taste for spinach knish & apricot Rugelach. I guess I need to wait until next NYC trip to find me those. Well, the service was very good. Price is decent. I wish I can special order some spinach knish. Parking was super difficult to find.

Black and white sufignot (Hanukkah special) with custard and chocolate filling
    Sam B.

Came to Bibi's to pick up some borekas and donuts. We ordered at the counter and service, as always, was excellent. We got cheese, potato, and the feta and olive flavors of borekas. They were nicely sized. It was my first time trying the feta boreka and I think that one is now my favorites. Huge feta fan here. We got a mix of different flavors of sufigniyot. I really liked that they had smaller versions of these usually large donuts. I had the chocolate one and I loved how much filling it had. I've always used Bibi's for takeout. However, I did notice there was some seating outside. Metered parking on the street.

I went in the afternoon and spend $200+ and everything was stale. The black and white cookie was like a hockey puck. I was so disappointed

Overpriced menu. Feels like their is so much profiteering in the Restaurant Industries. The service is great for a sidewalk place.

She took me here. The place was very clean and tidy with a lot of different types of sweet treats. I was there for one thing only. I did ask the gal working if they were made that day and she said yes. We ordered a raspberry, an orange, a coffee bean and the popular mango. This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

There were endless selection of salt bread and different flavoured buns which all looked delicious. As we were browsing and deciding, the lady at the counter was kind enough to offer us a sample of the butter rice cake. The butter tteok tasted pretty good on the spot so we bought a pack of 5 back home along with a hot and spicy salt bread and corn soboro. The butter rice cakes were already cold and hard when we got home, the inside was dense and chewy in a bad way. I didn't want them to go to waste so I tried reheating them in the over for a few minutes. It was warm but the texture never recovered, everything just got more dense and hard. The hot and spicy salt bread looked like a winner, but when we bit into it, the bread was just crunchy and overly buttery without a lot of flavour. The inside did not have the soft pillowy texture you'd expect from salt bread. The filling was a budget hot dog and some corn mixed with mayo. We cut the bread in half and my boyfriend said his piece had way too much mayo and mine barely had any. I grabbed the corn soboro thinking it would be delicious since it was corn season but was the most disappointed by it. I reheated the bread again to get the cookie top to crisp up. The soboro top didn't have a lot of crunch or flavour, it was just a layer of sweetness with no texture. The corn cream filling was not good, the corn was dehydrated and had no flavour at all. It honestly tasted a bit like canned corn that's over baked, I ended up scooping it out because the bread was better without it. Maybe it's better to go earlier when the baked goods are fresh and eat it there instead of taking it home.

However, when we got back to the hotel, we were able to re-cook the sandwich and it turned out fine. I would still give this restaurant chance, especially since their baguettes and pastries are delicious. Disappointing. Sadly not what it used to be. Bottega Louis WAS our favorite go to restaurant when we visit LA. Unfortunately it has gone downhill. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We ordered the Louis Salad with blue crab and Croque Madame. While the salad was as delicious as I remembered, the Croque Madame was completely undercooked and the bread was soggy. We returned the sandwich as asked them to grill it longer. It took so long to recook that we had to leave and they gave it to us in a togo box without even an apology. Even the bread that they serve with the meal has gone downhill. We ended up buying a baguette. At least the baguettes are still decent. But overall a disappointing lunch.
