    Cobb Salad
    Natalie S.

Delicious food. Traditional deli foods that remind me of my childhood. Service was attentive and accurate. We asked to taste a soup or chili and it was enough for us both to determine if we wanted more. Take out was also good. I ordered the Cobb salad and the presentation was lovely. Delicious dressing. I couldn't finish it in one sitting and the left overs were great the next day.

Ordered the BBQ sandwich and it was very good. The coleslaw was excellent and I am not a big fan of coleslaw. Young man working the counter was very nice. I will definitely come back.

SCHWARTZ DELI & BBQ!!! Exciting stuff! They are now in the soft opening phase but they're already hitting it out of the park. They are going for an old-school deli as well as authentic barbecue. They are still tweaking stuff but as far as I'm concerned they got the brisket on point. I got it in a sandwich and it was fantastic. Juicy with that great smoky flavor, and wow do they pack it on. That's what I'm talking about! Talking about packing it on, check out the pastrami. We're talking old-school, overstuffed, like I haven't seen in I don't know how long. It's a true old-school New York deli experience. This is hand carved with love. Nothing shrink-wrapped here, but brined and prepared in-house. It was fantastic even though it was on the lean side and they say they're working on a fattier naval pastrami which, I'm telling you now, is going to be off da hook! If you want to stay on the healthy side but still want good barbecue, check out their cauliflower steak with pulled beef. Very nice! You've got some great apps inside as well, such as very flavorful fire poppers with both a great herb blend on the coating as well as a great sauce. I always say, if a place makes their own onion rings you've got to get them, and these do not disappoint. You're also going to want to try their pulled beef and pastrami egg rolls. So that's it for now but I can't wait to go back to try the real stuff such as the Dinoribs, lamb etc. Stay tuned! They are now open from 12-8PM. 8820 West Pico Blvd. Check it out!

Great food and services is getting better. They have a great dining area. The food travels well and sauces are yum!

Carmel is on the streets of melrose with valet parking and street parking. When walking in it was CRAZZYY packed. i had no idea how popular this place is. when checking in at the front, our reservations was set for 1015pm & it did take a few minutes to get seated at our table but it is okay because the hosts was really nice to reassure us about our table. i loved the ambiance, the decoration, & the music that was playing that night. our waiter i think his name was quinn was absolutely wonderful and friendly. he really made our first time experience memorable. i love when waiters offer their suggestions on what their favorites are on the menu. i most definitely had to try their moroccan pita bread and ooommmgggg absolutely delicious bread ever!! It was so fluffy and well seasoned on top!! i need like 10 of them to take home! ahah! i got myself to try their red snapper schnitzel with dill cucumber salad & their Calabrian chili aioli and it was 10/10!!!! sooo good omg! my friend got their short ribbed pappardelle pasta and i also tried it myself and it was really good! shoutout to whoever was the chef that night absolutely amazing food! our drinks were really good too. it took the bar awhile to make our drinks but once our drinks came to our table it was well worth it. My friend & myself we always order each a shot of tequila whenever we go out to eat & this place has some really good tequila!! We ordered the jaffa breeze cocktail and wow that drink was absolutely deliciously refreshing. it's like a cucumber drink & we could've had like 5 of those drinks! i think i got myself the watermelon gimlet which was good but not as good as the jaffa breeze. to end our night, we got dessert. they have really yummy dessert options. we got the malabi sundae, seems like it was really popular that night. it was absolutely creamy and delicious. 10/10 most definitely recommend to try this dessert! our overall experience was absolutely wonderful & i most definitely want to come back and try their brunch menu!

We started with the San Diego Bluefin Tuna Tartare, which had an incredible burst of flavors. Then we had the Moroccan bread, which was fresh, warm, and delicious. We finished with the Hanger Steak Kebab, which was really good as well. Overall, we had a great experience. Carmel is definitely becoming a new favorite spot for my wife and me, and we'll absolutely be back. Next time, we're definitely trying the kosher steak! Highly recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends because it gets very busy. Amazing food, great vibes, and definitely a place we'll be coming back to!

We found street parking but we couldn't find the actual restaurant because I just assumed the building was an apartment building. Once we finally walked through the door, inside is so lovely. I LOVE their bar countertop. We sat outside which has great vibes for summer. Cute lighting, all the works. I want to sincerely thank them for a wonderful birthday dinner for my friend. The restaurant is very low-lit, intimate, and romantic, making it a great choice for a date night. I could also see it being a nice spot to visit with friends for cocktails or mocktails. They also have a wide variety of wines, which I really appreciated, especially when pairing wine with pasta. For our appetizer, we ordered the burrata, and it was definitely one of my favorite parts of the meal. The cheese was incredibly creamy and lightly salted, which I personally loved. It was served with roasted tomatoes and fresh bread, and the combination was simple but really well executed. We also ordered two pasta dishes, and both were delicious. The pasta was cooked really well--not overly al dente--and the sauces were rich, flavorful, and thick enough to coat the pasta beautifully. You could really taste the depth of flavor in each dish. We also tried the mussels, which was my first time having them. Personally, they weren't my favorite, mainly because of the texture. However, I think that's completely subjective, and someone with a different palate may really enjoy them. I wouldn't consider this a flaw in the restaurant so much as a personal preference. The service was another highlight. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. My only real criticism would be the seating and tables. The tables were somewhat wobbly and had a few visible scratches, which felt slightly out of place compared with the otherwise beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere. The seating was also quite tight, especially with an appetizer and two pasta dishes on the table. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Oster. The romantic ambiance, delicious pasta, creamy burrata, extensive wine selection, and excellent service made it a memorable dinner. The mussels weren't personally for me, but that's simply a matter of taste. Aside from the tight seating and slightly worn tables, I thought the restaurant was a wonderful spot for a romantic Italian dinner in LA.

We paid $68 for two salads and an order of fries, which felt overpriced for the quality and portions. What really stood out, however, was the customer service. I visited with my mother and my toddler son. Since my son wasn't going to eat fried food, I bought him a fruit smoothie from a neighboring business. While we were already in line paying for our order, the owner or manager approached us and informed us that outside food and drinks were not allowed because the restaurant is kosher. Although he said he would make an exception this one time, he approached us again while we were waiting outside for our food. We had chosen to sit outside because the restaurant was crowded, loud, and stuffy inside. Despite us not causing any issues, he again insisted that the smoothie could not be on the premises and began explaining that his license could be suspended due to association rules. We politely told him it wasn't a problem and decided to take our food to go. I understand businesses have policies, but the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational, especially considering the drink was for a toddler and we had already spent nearly $70 at the restaurant. Between the mediocre food, high prices, and rude customer service, I would not return. There are plenty of better dining options in the area.
