Not only was I informed that concealed permit holders are prohibited from carrying inside, but that law enforcement officers not actively responding to a call in the venue were also prohibited. Yet, the armed security guard at the door with 3.5 minutes of training was allowed inside with a firearm. I spoke with the manager who was very nice and understanding and agreed to refund my tickets. I'm sure there are folks reading this who disagree with me on this and that's fine. I chose not to be a sheep in a world where wolves are everywhere dressed in sheep's clothing. You do you though. I grew up in Tennessee, so this was the absolute last thing I expected in a conservative, pro-2A state. How does a business that takes this stance survive?

We were finally led to a spot in the back row, which was their handicap seating, which we needed for my father. After you get your seat, you go back into the buffet line...again very unclear. There was one guy who was standing near the kitchen door barking out food directions. When my sister questioned him on something, he responded back quite rudely, "haven't you been listening?" Menu consisted of your basic breakfast items, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, etc. There was a omelette station where you tell the cook what you want in it, and they cook it while you wait. Fresh toasted bread at this station also. The food from the Buffett was lukewarm and tasted old. Omelette were ok, toast was excellent. Says a lot when the best item on a breakfast buffet was the toast! Drinks were $2.00. In the fine print it said they expect you to tip your server $2.00 per person in your party. You pay at the counter in the store in the front. Entertainment was sadly lacking. There was Davy Crocket, Dorothy Gale (wizard of Oz) and a southern belle walking in the audience and chatting with you while you try to eat. Also had a representative from a Cruise Line trying to enter patrons in a drawing to win a free cruise. This did not count as entertainment in my book! They rate one star for the toast.

I had been here about 20 yrs before and the place would be packed. 3 days before the performance I was able to get front row center seats for the 2 of us. That should have told me something. That and the fact when the show started, only the first 2 rows had anyone in them. The Elvis music came on, I was excited, and out walked a short dumpy male with a cheap toupee and glued on sideburns with black eyebrow liner. Non looked professional. He didn't sound like Elvis and couldn't move like Elvis. I'm a nurse and once thought he was going into a seizure, I was concerned! He went down on one knee in front of us and almost fell off the stage! Near the end he started talking about the blues brothers coming back and told us we had been watching one of them. He continued to brag about being one of the blues brothers, my granddaughter yelled out that it explains it, we knew we weren't watching Elvis. We wasted over $90 for this show! He went on talking about how tired he was and couldn't do as well because he spent the day touring a college campus and how much they had walked that day. And how he wasn't the normal Elvis!! He sang what he said was one of his favorite songs. I expected an Elvis song but he started talking about Olivia Newton John and sang one of her songs!! Run, don't walk, far away from this show!!

A gentleman greeted me at the door and kindly explained he still had a few final preparations to handle. Even with a restroom request, they held firm on the timing. True to his word, the doors opened at 5:00 PM sharp. As you walk in, you're welcomed by a staff member who checks your name and guides you to your seat. What's quirky and fun is that the same man who takes your ticket also performs the entire one-man show! The stage sits just six feet from the front row, creating a cozy and personal atmosphere. The space is very clean, and soft background music plays while you wait. The restroom is located at the back, which means you'll have to walk across in front of the audience if nature calls mid-performance. It's spotless and includes a single handicap-accessible bar next to the toilet. Best to go beforehand. There's a small counter that offers snacks and drinks, though in my opinion, the prices didn't match the portions. A little steep for what you get. This show is best suited for younger children rather than adults. That's why I gave it a higher rating, viewed through the right lens, it's charming and lighthearted. However, if it were intended for a broader adult audience, I'd probably rate it lower. One notable drawback was the unlocked front door during the performance. While we were mid-show, two people wandered in asking about future tickets, and the performer actually paused the show to answer them. I get the hustle, but it broke the flow and felt disruptive. You're welcome to film the performance, which is unusual and at the end of the show, comes a QR code encouraging guests to leave a positive review. A little unconventional, but memorable.

We attended "Days of Elijah" earlier this month (June 2015). Unfortunately, it was not at all a good experience. Consider these four areas: INITIAL IMPRESSIONS: While the facility looks decent outside and in the lobby area, I was concerned when we went into the theater to find seating for 600-700 people but only about 100 paying customers. This should have been a red flag. The regular seats are tight; you need to pray you are not seated next to someone large because you won't be able to use your arm on that side. The "upgraded" seats are much more appropriate in size for eating a meal with a fork and knife. Additionally, as we were seated and waiting for food service to begin, there was a video playing, but apparently no attention was given to any type of modern standard of filming or projection. For example, much of the material was shot in HD (16:9) format, but since the projectors and screens are in the traditional SD (4:3) format everything appeared squished and unnatural. It would have been easy to set the projectors to project everything in HD or to just film/create the material in SD, but instead they choose to present a mismatched image size. Additionally, sometimes the side screens were used for IMAG (Image MAGnification) during the actual show, but much of that time it was more like Image DE-magnification--the actual person on stage was larger than the image on the screen, which made the screens a distraction from the actual performances on stage (not to mention that they IMAG cameras were not white-balanced correctly, which made the IMAG screens look like they had different tints than the activities on stage). FOOD: The food is not made on site, which is quite unusual since we paid almost $50 per person. Instead the food is transported from a buffet down the street. This should be enough to scare you. It's advertised as a meal of "Biblical proportions" because they try to make up for a lack of quality by increasing the quantity. The salad lettuce had brown spots on it, the corn and carrots clearly tasted like they were from a can (not fresh), the beef was the average "mystery meat" you find at a buffet, the chicken was completely dried out, and the dinner roll was the size of Texas (okay, maybe not that big, but it was huge). The slice of ham and the dessert were decent however. If you're of the mindset that "food is food," then you might enjoy the food here; if however you have any culinary training or a discerning palette then you will not enjoy this food. MUSIC SHOW: While I personally am not a fan of southern gospel music or "song and dance" routines, I can comment on some of the other aspects of the "concert." Of the five performers, only Rachel was worth the time musically. She has an amazing voice, and her motions seemed genuine. (She was like a breath of fresh air every time she stepped forward for a solo and is worth every dollar that they are paying her!) The others tended to be off-pitch, cheesy, or just going for the applause (e.g., "Let's give him/her another round of applause" and "Please given him/her the warmest welcome of the evening"). Additionally, all of the performers were singing to pre-recorded instrumental tracks. If I were the manager, I would give the other four their walking papers and in their place hire performers who are multi-talented in both playing and singing (e.g., a keyboardist or guitarist who can "switch-hit" and also sing solos). DAYS OF ELIJAH: I'm sorry, but I'm throwing up the flag of "False Advertising" here. There are two reasons--the actual content of the show and the portrayal of it being a live show. First, the show is not about the days in which Elijah lived; it was about the end times, presented in a dramatic lecture format intermixed with music. The owners were smart enough to realize that calling it "Four Blood Moons" was not going to attract customers, but I'm not sure that misleading people by thinking it is about Elijah is the right answer either. (Actually, the right answer is to choose a completely different topic for the performance!) Second, the show is advertised as having live actors, but it's only about 40% live. The rest is done through CGI as an animated presentation. I have to admit: the CGI graphics were pretty cool and well done. I would have no problem if the show had been advertised as having both CGI and live portions, but none of the advertisements for the show indicated some of the show was not a live production. CONCLUSION: My recommendation is to spend your money elsewhere. If you are looking for a Biblical theater experience, please check out the offerings of Sight & Sound (Pennsylvania and Missouri), whose quality is so much better than Biblical Times that they really are unable to be compared. If you are just looking for something to do in the Pigeon Forge area, then I'm sure there are plenty of other things to see and do which will taste better, look better, sound better, and leave you feeling better too. read more

We went to the theater on 5/4/2019 for our 33rd Anniversary and it was awesome. We rented a cabin an went to see this and enjoyed it very much. There were 3 couples who were celebrating their anniversary and they called us up on stage and we played a game show. It was fun and everyone seem to have a good time. The food was great and the server was very nice. We learn a lot about the heroes in East Tennessee compare to those heroes in the bibles. We live in Vonore, TN and so we knew most of the people who was mention. But what i like best was when they recognize the veterans in the audience and I'm a Veteran so it felt good people recognizing the ones who help make the USA free and safe for the American people. I spent 8 years and was medical retired and yes I know their is a lot of people who made America what it is today. The ones who fight for this country is very important to keep the USA the way it is today. Also the families of the veterans help in it also. People in these reviews say it is boring but that was not true. It pretty much went with the bible and yes it was LIVE and the songs were awesome. Everyone has their own opinion about this show but it went with the bible and no it wasn't boring people in the bible had God in their hearts and did what God wanted them to do to tell everyone about God's love. The songs were awesome and the guy in charge was funny. The game show was nice that we did. I've seen the theatre in Arkansas also about the death of Christ and it was awesome but boring no. People now days don't know what a good theater show is if it bite them in the face this is from the bible and if you don't know the bible then wouldn't understand as much. It was a big blessing to go and me and my husband enjoyed it very much and I thank God we were able to go because we are both disable and don't go out very much. But I would go again and tell everyone I know about it. Thank you Lord for someone to have this theater to let others know about your love for us and day we will all know about your love. read more

My family and I were looking for something to do last night, we were tired of the big dinner shows. They are the same and getting way to expensive for a family to afford. We are people of faith and drove by the Biblical Times theater on the Parkway and decided to go in and see what it was all about. A nice young lady named Katie was in the box office and gave us a great overview of the show. (She is also in the cast!) We decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did! When we got to the theater we were greeted and seated right away. The seats were amazing, so comfortable. The servers were fun and very helpful. We got served right away. The good was good, hot and there was plenty of it. During the time the servers were delivering the food there was a very funny lady that they said escaped from the retirement home! She was very funny and did a couple of songs before someone came to carry her back to the "Home". The first act blew me away. The cast had the most amazing voices! There was a patriotic section that had me in tears. The second act was the drama "Women of Grace". The story of three women who encounter Christ and the impact it has on them. The music and acting were great and the last song the Alabaster Box had my whole group standing up! It was amazing. The cast was all out front to great us, something you don't see much anymore. We looked over as we were leaving and a couple of them were praying with some of the audience. These young folks are truly living their faith! You won't go wrong spending an evening at this theater! If you are looking for a show with an extremely talented cast who truly care about what they are singing and acting out, this is a must see! A beautiful hidden gem in Pigeon Forge. The show started with an amazing concert filled with some great talent! They sang songs that covered several generations, from songs I sang with my grandparents to songs you hear today. The meal was tasty and service was outstanding, really they couldn't have set up the environment any better to enjoy some phenomenal singing from the cast. Not only were we entertained but we got to worship! The second half shed new light on stories I've heard my entire life. The women at the well, the women with the issue of blood, and Mary of Bethany were humans, just as us, who messed up just as we do, and they got to experience Jesus' grace, love, and mercy first hand JUST AS WE DO! Each women did a beautiful job at bringing you into the story with their acting and beautiful singing! Bravo to the cast, you made these characters feel real and relatable. Do not miss this show!! I admit to having low expectations when I booked to see the show, but was extremely surprised once I got there. The theater itself is gorgeous, from the lobby to the auditorium itself. Video projection on stage and side walls is very well done. The singers were excellent. Much credit to the music director putting the voices together so well and showing each individual's talents to their fullest. Arrangements and instrumental tracks were great. The use of video in the play section of the evening was surprising. Actors on video, presented so well it took a minute to realize they weren't live actors. This show is so good! This cast of performers is very talented and do an outstanding job of spreading the Good Word thru song and acting. The first half is gospel music performed by the actors and they do a great job and keep you entertained. And the second half is the show. Their acting was great and the songs that were sang during the performance were on point! This show exceeded my expectations! You can tell they're a small operation but they are doing an awesome job so please go to their show you won't be disappointed. The meal I have to say was mediocre but the show outshines the meal and it was over in enough time to get something else to eat if you want. Awful. When I saw this, I was introduced by what felt like televangelist money takers. My family and I sat down to watch what we thought would be a representation, a play, about a time in the bible. Instead, we were given a very poor performance of what felt like over rehearsed gospel music with recited, plain, without feeling testimonies. We were also given a dinner that the announcer stated came from the "buffet across the street." 45 minutes into this and it was the same 2-3 people singing what sounded like the same song over and over. Meanwhile we are waiting for the "play" to begin...me and my family fled this place feeling like money was stolen from us. I am a firm believer in Christ, but I can assure you, Christ was not in that building. read more

on July 8,2022 while on vacation we had a reservation at Feaster and Teasters 6pm reservation. Dan the ticket Master was there and i asked him where is your restroom And he replied, women restroom is to the left and the mens restroom for you is in the back outside but since it's raining I will let you use the one inside And Dan and the other young worker laughed. I was very upset and insulted on my vacation with my family being an African American man . Cedric K. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Biblical Times Theater! We didn't really know what to expect and left with huge smiles on our faces when the production was over! The actors/singers were extremely talented and performed with their whole hearts, which was the best part of the entertainment. Each one meant each word they said/sang and the music and story of Peter were accurate to Scripture and inspiring! We hope the Biblical Times Theater continues to give glory to God as they convey Truths in a way that is both entertaining and instructive as to the ways of God!! This is the second time I have been to the theater and I loved it both times. The first time was the story of Roth, I just saw the story or Peter. The singing always blows me away at how good it is ( both times I have been brought to tears when they sang the song "let me tell you about my Jesus ". The food just keeps getting better and is the best food of all the dinner shows in pigeon forge. My family and I have been to all of the dinner theaters in Pigeon Forge and Biblical Times is by far our favorite. The meal was absolutely delicious, and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Mr. Rainey was fantastic in the pre-show entertainment. The singing was superb. We attended the opening show of "Women of Grace" and it couldn't have been better. We so enjoyed Biblical Times! The singers were excellent!! The Lord has certainly gifted each one with spirit filled voices. You could feel their love for our Lord as they sang. The songs were uplifting and toe tapping, you couldn't help but sing along. The second half was about the story of Peter. We really enjoyed that part also. Some of the same singers were in it. Excellent show! Beautiful renditions of Christmas songs, and the telling of the story of Jesus. It id portrayed in a very moving manner. It can be combined with museum tours of the Bible, the Shroud of Turin, and scenes from Christus Gardens; the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame for a nominal fee. These tours are quite interesting, and the scenes from Christus Gardens and quite uplifting. The dinner was very good and well presented. Our tour guide was quite informative. read more

This is a very anointed and inspirational musical theater. The singing was amazing. Our hearts were greatly touched, as we worshiped Jesus together. The meal was wonderful. The theater was amazing! Best show in Pigeon Forge! They are now under new management so the shows are way better than they were a few years ago! The place had that lively, vacation-y buzz to it--the kind of atmosphere where you can hear laughter over the clink of glasses and the hum of conversation. We were seated quickly, and our server was outstanding--attentive without hovering and on top of everything from start to finish. The margaritas? Exactly what you'd expect from a place that built an empire on them. They came out cold and crisp, with that clean tequila bite, a tart lime tang, and just enough sweetness to keep things balanced. The salt on the rim gave each sip a little extra pop, and after the food arrived, I found myself ordering another. Now, the fish and chips... two orders, and both landed squarely in the "mediocre" category. They were obviously turning them out as fast as they could, but they did arrive hot, with a crunchy exterior that gave way to a fairly ordinary, slightly dry bite inside. The tartar sauce and coleslaw were fine--nothing that will make you write home, but nothing to complain about either. Was it the best meal in pigeon forge? Nope. Was it a pleasant stop with good service, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere? Absolutely. Sometimes that's enough. Besides, another margarita has a funny way of improving a perfectly average fish.

It was Labor Day weekend, hotter than hell, the streets were packed, and then our trolley broke down way down the road. By the time we made it into town, we were hot, tired, and pretty much done with humanity for the afternoon. We walked into Ole Red for one simple reason: air-conditioning and a cold drink. We figured we'd cool off for a few minutes and move on. A couple hours later, we were still there. This place completely won us over. There was a young guy onstage playing live music, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and instead of feeling like another crowded Gatlinburg tourist stop, it became exactly what we needed. Then came the wings. My parents ran a very popular wing bar in South Jersey, so I've been around good wings most of my life. Because of that, I order them almost everywhere I go, and I'm probably harder on wings than most people. I wasn't expecting anything special here. These wings were fantastic. Crispy, meaty, full of flavor, and honestly much better than I ever expected from a place where we'd originally stopped just to escape the heat. That's what I'll remember about Ole Red. We walked in hot, aggravated, and looking for 20 minutes of air-conditioning. We walked out a couple hours later talking about how glad we stopped. Sometimes a bad day just needs good wings, cold drinks, live music, and a little air-conditioning. Definitely recommend Ole Red when you're in Gatlinburg.

My waiter was also really nice, and while the food is a bit pricey, I completely understand the pricing considering this is also a music venue. You're paying for good service, quality food, & the overall atmosphere with live music, so I really can't complain because you get what you pay for. You can't let the waitresses and bar staff run the business -- the manager or owner needs to be present. I tried everything: drinks, breakfast, and dinner. The drinks did not resemble the ones advertised on YouTube. I ordered the espresso martini and the foam was sticking over the glass -- it wasn't anything like what was shown. I also tried to order a drink with bubbles that I believe was called the "Dolly." The server couldn't make it and simply said it was on the old menu. Then she took my $20 hotel coupons (the ones you receive at check-in), dropped the bill, and disappeared without ever deducting them. I'm sure she tried to scam me and cash them out later. Breakfast was tasty and the presentation was good. It looks like someone in the morning kitchen has good taste. However, the server was wearing AirPods, which in my opinion is unacceptable. Dinner was not so great. The slaw tasted like raw flour. The Alfredo sauce tasted off -- my daughter refused to eat it because she said it tasted wrong, and when I tried it, it seemed like the sauce was going sour.
