Arrived for a pre planned Birthday party of 14. All good two weeks ahead of time the young Hostess tells us they gave our table away. Because they called us I quote 5 times that day Checking our phones they called once. And scratched us. Our only option was outside. Not my choice either that or Mc Donald's. All seated at a very attractive table We also had 5 children with us Waitress was sweet and good. But the restaurant was mobbed. So a 6.30 reservation we left dinner at 9.45. Kind of slow This has been my favorite restaurant on the Island for 20+ years Manager Jose is back and as cordial as ever. But being cordial and a less then good dinner started with the Veal carpaccio appetizer. Way too much salt and tuna gravy. Not very good The bolognese was a small portion of their version of bolognese. Done like children's dish no meat the rest of the meals were average. I love this place it's a shame it's slipping. Everything about a day in Palm Beach is fabulous, including a nice long lunch with girlfriends at BICE. A group of us went to shop and this was our spot of choice to dine. We ordered an endive salad, ravioli and chicken to share. The chicken and ravioli were amazing. It seems like the crowd here is fabulous, making it a great place for people watching. I celebrated my birthday yesterday with a lovely dinner at Bice. It was a Monday night and every table was taken. This was my first time to Bice located on the infamous Worth Avenue. I was awed by the whole experience. We parallel parked on the street and used the ParkMobile app to pay. We were with our dear friends who were the ones who introduced me to this venue. As we walked into the courtyard, I felt like I was swept away to Capri Italy. The tables and chairs were set up in that space. It was lined with upscale boutiques on both sides but they were closed at this time. Above us was a wood frame draped with magnificent hot pink bougainvillea blossoms. The sun was setting....the ambiance was so beautiful. We were seated at a quaint table in the corner. Everyone was dressed to impress. It's preferred that the men wear jackets. I was in the middle of a fashion show. Also there is inside dining. I purposely went in to visit the restroom and check it out. It was a WOW. A bustling bar in one room and a magnificent dining room on the other side. Now for the food: first I must say that there is a very high price tag attached to this venue. Every drink was $25+. We shared a Caesar salad for $25 - nothing special. They didn't even make it in front of us. I had a $52 halibut entree with spinach and a mound of mashed potatoes. Honestly it did not look appetizing but it did taste ok. Our friends had: a bowl of bolognese and her husband had a crispy chicken dish. They shared each other's entree. I was not impressed with the dish. There was nothing gourmet about it. We then had some decaf coffee and a lovely ricotta cheesecake. My pictures are included. We each took a couple of bites. Unfortunately, my friend who made the reservation never told the restaurant that we were celebrating my birthday. It could have been more special. I was disappointed. I do go out to eat often but not often to places as upscale as this. If your goal is to see where the rich and famous or wannabes are, this is your place. Went there for Easter dinner, the restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. I had the seafood risotto and it was exquisite. The desserts were really good too. However the service wasn't that great for a restaurant of this caliber, a little bit disappointed. If was busy since it was Easter but it wasn't that busy since most people come for lunch on Easter. I dont know maybe I was expecting a little bit more from previous reviews but our waitress wasn't all that. She was ok bare minimum, had to asked her twice to bring us bread. She brought the wrong drink to my friend she wasn't concentrating. Like I said we were expecting more. read more

Be Seen! At the Scene! Around 30 years ago, I had my first experience at a Bice restaurant. It was Italian and excellent. And I say "Italian" as to me--the food was more or less authentic executed well, coming from someone who actually lived in Italy. This restaurant is not Italian. The food was not terrible. But the oddest thing that you noticed immediately when I sat down to even examine my salad or the so-called Burrata (really just boconcini) was the notable lack of any olive oil. And when I tried to get olive oil, they were incredibly resistant. So I had to get up and get my own. Literally. In fact, I had to get up, as other people did in my group a multitude of times-- to get items from napkins to wine to the olive oil. I'm not specifically faulting the servers. I think they're overworked and don't have enough staff on hand, but they're also not trained well and some have a bizarre sort of attitude problem like they are doing me a favor by letting me breathe their air which is very typical in fact in Palm Beach and Beverly Hills. The food was kind of fake corporate Italian with no olive oil of course. The steak was cooked perfectly, so I have to admire the chef, but it was also rubber. A very nice piece of rubber though. Ridiculously overpriced and the whole thing is a giant scam. But a beautiful environment and it could be one of the best restaurants in Florida if it wanted to be. Does it want to be? I don't think so, but who knows. To be fair, I didn't have any pasta, but that's because I was scared after the three other dishes that I tasted oh including a fish which was incredibly fishy, but once again perfectly cooked. So whoever is doing the cooking is a star. But the quality is absolutely abysmal . And obviously they don't want to use any olive oil because it's an expensive item and these people are just ripping off every momo who comes in here to be seen at the scene. read more

We had a scheduled reservation for outside, with confirmation emails and all. We arrived to be told by a teenage girl, "did you make a reservation at Naples??" We showed proof and email receipts. The owner said he'd do something special and would return to "prove" we did not have confirmation. He left. He never returned, we ate, we dined, we paid. The salad I wanted had carrots which I'm allergic to so I asked for something super close and the made it happen it was delicious! I ordered the rigatoni and the penne, and both dishes were very tasty--well-cooked pasta with flavorful sauces that hit the spot. The flavors were solid, though nothing particularly extraordinary that would set it apart from other Italian spots. One thing that stood out, however, was the price. The portions were decent, but for what you're getting, it felt a little on the pricier side compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. Service was great, very fast and the atmosphere was welcoming. Despite that, I'd still say BiCE is a good place to visit. It's a solid choice for a nice meal, and I would return. read more

Awful. This place is severely mismanaged. Jose is trying to play nice but instead he would be more useful in training staff some manners and some actual serving of patrons. This was not a mistake or a hiccup. This was deliberate . Many reviews mentioned it. So a server initially comes and takes your order without any introduction, smile or list of specials . He brings drinks and disappears ... for the rest of the night. Then you are being served by busboys who don't say a single word. Don't think they speak any English. They probably learned 10 words and can get around . They don't refill your water, have to be flagged for extra bread. Then they just drop an iPad on your table to pay. Then Jose comes when we complained to another rude waiter and try to make everything better, lies that our server took a break (2 hours), asks us if we are local or tourists. How is it any of his business and what does it even matter? Did he really think we are ever going to come back to this disaster of a restaurant ? All wait stuff speaks Spanish between themselves and all patrons do not. Such a mismatch between patrons and people who work there. Employees with No class, no manners, more fit for Pollo Tropical chain than fine dining with high end pricing. Never again! read more

In 1926, Bice Ruggeri opened a restaurant in Milan, Italy. I've had Bice on Worth Ave. on my Yelp collection forever. We made dinner reservations well in advance. We valeted our car & were warmly greeted, service was impeccable. The wine list was extensive and overwhelming. There were so many choices by the glass at all price points, it took time to read. The dinner menu looked very appealing. The seafood salad, stuffed artichoke, eggplant parmigiana, branzino, risotto ... looked wonderful. However, since moving to Florida I haven't been able to purchase fresh home made pasta. The pasta here is fresh & "housemade", so it is a must!. My husband ordered the prix fixe 3 course meal with pasta bolognese & I had the tagliatelle with asparagus & shrimp. We shared the beef carpaccio appetizer & a tirmasu for dessert. Our pasta portions were generous, we each brought food home. We dined with another couple that enjoyed their arugula salad, branzino, pasta & key lime pie. My only issue was that he restaurant was very loud, the group at the table behind us spoke very loudly. It's a beautiful restaurant specially for outdoor seating but the following points of service below could use an improvement to match their upscale dining category.. ** Host was friendly but no menus were provided ** we had to ask servers or food runners around for a menu and who our server was when we were ready ** no greeting from servers whatsoever, no warm welcome, nothing to match the beautiful weather of West Palm Beach. ** A guest needed toilet paper for the restroom and the staff handed the guest rolls of toilet paper and didn't even stock the restroom but had the guest do it herself. My wife, son and I came to eat here to celebrate and what a bust. First off they had us waiting at the host stand for about 5-10 min while workers just walked right by us without even asking to give them a minute. Then we were sat down, menus handed to us and we were left at our table as that; No food or drink specials said, no selling the menu on food or drinks, no asking about drinks orders. The attitude was very *here order and go*. Very distasteful. The bread ended and we were given bread sticks (during dinner time). The food came and I ordered chicken parm, the edges were burnt, but the rest good. My son ordered pasta that was good as well. My wife ordered the clam linguine type pasta and wow the clams were EXTREMELY sandy, crunch in every bite. The "sauce" the pasta was in was more just a watery herb base... not great at all. The ambiance would have been good if it wasn't for the speakers giving feedback every 30 seconds. The service from start to finish was incredibly poor. To add on top the staff started to pick up tables and roll tables right by guests and their tables with full plates of food less than 3ft by them... a task that, in my opinion and experience, definitely should wait until every guest is done and out of the restaurant. I'm not going to be recommending or returning at all. Which sucks because the BiCE in Orlando was AMAZING. You guys here in West Plam make the brand look very bad. read more

Nice place. Great ambiance. Sat outside in a lit courtyard. Service was excellent and efficient. I had the halibut. When I see halibut I usually get it because it's not always available. This was one of the best if not the best halibut I've had. It was cooked perfectly and was very moist. Spinach and mashed potatoes paired well with it. My wife got the taglionini( fancy word for linguini) bolognese. I tried it and it was delicious. The pasta as some of the other pastas are made on the premises.
