The service department blatantly lied to me. I called them to get my track diagnosed and repaired. I was told it would be done by wednesday dropped it off on sunday night when I did not receive a update on Wednesday. I called them Wednesday night and was told it would be done by Thursday afternoon. But to find out they had not touched my truck yet. They lied approximately 9:30 am on Thursday I received a phone call that they took a look at my motor and it needed to replaced That would have been nice to know on Monday. Then, I was told I would receive a $7000 bill because my motor had to be put back together before It could leave. Another lie i told them to stop working on my truck and push it outside. It still cost me $2200 for a couple hours of work what they did not document the hours on my bill.. Terrible experience so bad I went and bought GMC . I will never visit brickfird again and my service advisor never returned any of my phone calls left 3 messages on Friday, trying to figure out what to do with my truck and when I could pick it up, I've never received a phone call back, finally drove down there and paid them. I just got the most amazing car from Bickford and it was the most amazing and easy experience...short of the 1st car I bought from them. To put it in perspective, I'm a single mom who has trust issues. I worked with Darren and he did literally allllll of the work. I was convinced that there would be NO way I would be able to get a car and he made sure it got done. Like literally would not take no as an answer. I originally ordered my F150 through Epic Ford in Everett, but they closed down. So my order was transferred to Bickford in Snohomish. The staff there was very communicative. I received text updates throughout my order and build process. When my truck finally arrived, I was able to switch that order for another truck that was available on the lot. Jeff Wing was super helpful and accommodating with this process. It was very low stress and was an amazingly easy car buying experience. They even arranged to drive my newly purchased truck to my house so I didn't have to drive back twice since I had driven another vehicle there. Terrible service and communication. Didn't disclose how diagnosis work and then wanted to charge an extra when their original one was incorrect. Charged over $900 for service that wasn't even fixed. I could not figure out (if possible) to edit the first review I left regarding the service department. I waited 6 months for the appt. On 08/05, I was toldat time of scheduling, I would have the toe link and pillar replaced at the time due to the recalls I had(in the letter and the Ford app). Here is proof that this said nothing about an "inspection" first. Though Courtney in the service department told me it had to be "inspected" first.which is wrong and not how the appt was scheduled. I had to take a day off for this appt. They should have completed BOTH recalls at this appt. On top of this, I am dealing with my father, who was just diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 prostate cancer.. they would not provide a loaner car to me, even though it was a Ford issue and not mine. I walked down the street, trying to find a ride home. I have had several dealings with this place, but didn't review, but after a recent interaction with an employee, and Ford e mails, I decided to share this. I have purchased one new vehicle and two used vehicles. The salesman on the new car was an arrogant prick.....I think it was when he discovered I was purchasing it with a " D Plan" price. Darren Matthews has been the lone bright light in this place, was fair, earnest, and a pleasure to deal with on both used vehicles. The service department is incredibly poor, and disinterested. Perhaps, it is because I know how the "sausage is made" but when you enter the service trailer you can't help but notice the sloppy, unprofessional appearance of the representatives. You may or may not be greeted. It has the vibe of pure amateur hour and indifference. Dealing with a few other dealerships, service people are in slacks, perhaps a company golf shirt, but clean and professional looking, seemingly eager, and timely with communications. I purchased a new pick up and had e mailed Bickford about said truck (once again with a D Plan), and didn't receive a reply for several months after contact, and purchased that truck at a dealership in Everett. So, it isn't just the Service Department that is unmotivated. Another poor experience was with said service department when I had a pick up truck with a leaky rear window. Previously I had the same issue on another truck and the gasket around the window was replaced and problem solved, this needed the same. They tried an easier fix. It appeared that a middle school shop student performed his first caulking job. It didn't work and looked awful, but they didn't charge me....typical of amateur hour. Technicians receive kick backs on upsells, usually on fluid related services, BEWARE. Oh, if you are an employee and purchase any EV vehicles that they love to push, don't use the charging stations, those are for sales people, and when dissatisfied customers call in threatening with gun violence, don't expect a warning if you work in the shop! If you do have your vehicle serviced here, inquire whether the lift used on your car has been properly inspected and certified in the past year. Not only unsafe for the workers, but for your vehicle, as well. Profits over people in its lowest form. Real "family values" and care in action! It seems inappropriate. Hell, when a technician is caught "red handed" stealing from fellow technicians, nothing is done.....no more "truer" message can be sent about ethical and moral deficiency than that! Marketing the family owned business is fuzzy and cute, but eventually that family business falls into the hands of incapable or the disinterested, such as this place. The dysfunction between department managers, lack of communication, and low concern for ethics permeates the entire enterprise, thus many customers have less than stellar interactions. Even employees advise potential customers to shop elsewhere, as I have learned. If the company actually promoted experienced, honest people from within over hiring rejects from other dealers and former IT people for service related areas, it may improve. If efforts were put toward positive work environment over scrubbing negative reviews, perhaps it would improve. If rewarding decent, professional people over the facade of top performance and covering up for Ford audits, it may improve. Until then, the least common denominator of personnel within the industry will have a home at Bickford, and customers will continue to suffer. I believe in "Buy American" but this establishment ruins that. Just more frauds hiding behind "Christian Values." Until they clean up their act, shop elsewhere! read more

I just want to throw a big shout out to Bickford Ford & my service agent Brandon. I have a 2022 Ford Bronco that has had some recalls & minor issues & Brandon has done so great at both getting me in & actually fixing the issues. I had taken my car to another dealership for recall work & they just gave it back with one thing not done at all (sheer laziness on their part) and as I recently found out, another thing they had supposedly fixed they actually made worse. Bickford is booked way out (until April) & Brandon found a spot to squeeze me in next month to ensure that I get it in under the 36k warranty & not have to pay a deductible to use my extended warranty if I would have gone over 36k miles before my appt. Their service is just impeccable & Brandon treats me like a friend or family member. I really need to bring them lunch or something. HUGE thank you to Brandon, Bickford staff & their mechanics for taking such great care of me! read more

TLDR: The service department is dishonest and I'll never use this business again. The long version: It really breaks my heart to write this as I am from Snohomish and I love supporting our home town businesses. But those guys in the service dept are apparently just dishonest (translation = liars? You decide). I'd never had my truck serviced at Bickford before because it was always more convenient to have it done closer to my office. But it worked out this time so I scheduled my 100k service there. After my experience today I'll never go back, and I'll make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away. So here you go: Dishonest experience #1 - while checking in, the guy (don't remember his name) said "here are the services we recommend" and listed out spark plugs, coolant, transmission fluid, oil change, cabin air filter. I asked if those were the items the manufacturer (FORD) recommends at 100k (I knew they weren't, I'd read the manual) and he admits transmission fluid is due at 150k. So I'm only like 2/3 of the way thru that life span according to Ford but he's trying to upsell an expensive service I don't need. At first I was like whatever, but as the day wore on it just bugged me that they pushed unnecessary services with no evidence of them needing done. If I was a senior citizen on a fixed income that relies on my vehicle, someone saying "we recommend this" sounds legit. It was not. When I picked up my truck I brought this up and the three guys there gave some song and dance about 150k is a really long time for any fluids to be changed (not according to Ford, guys), manufacturers create overly long timelines for those services just to lower the cost of ownership when comparing to other car makers (so Ford is lying now???), etc. Whatever. It just comes across as lying when you say a service is needed when it's not. Like, is it a good idea to swap out the engine air filter once a week? Sure, you'll always have clean air in that engine. But is it unnecessary and costly? Yah. Which leads me to: Dishonest example #2 - They mentioned in the voicemail they left and when I picked up the truck that the brakes were getting worn, and they literally noted on my service write up in the Recommendation section "Replace brake pads and resurface brake rotors" for both the front and rear wheels with measurements at 5mm and 6mm respectively. The guy did a double-take when I told him I'd just had my brakes replaced about 20k miles ago, he stammered a bit and was like "weeeelll, it's just something to keep an eye on, doesn't need to be changed right now." Is it though??? Because your write up literally states "Replace brake pads and resurface brake rotors". Not "keep an eye on them", but replace them. Again, for a service I don't need as they're good until 3mm. The people I worked with today lied to me. Twice. I love my home town, but I hate liars and I'll never, ever support this business again. And I'll make sure to tell everyone I know this story as well. I'm sure it won't matter to anyone at Bickford, but if someone local reads this and is saved from getting upsold on services they don't need then it was well worth my time to write it up. Asked a simple question to sales via email "Does Bickford charge markup over MSRP?" and they will not respond. It is obvious that Bickford is in the business of ripping off our hard earned cash. You can find dealerships that aren't stealerships like Bickford. I wish car manufacturers would put a stop to this. In the meantime, do your part, and never buy over MSRP. I purchased a 2024 F-250 Platinum Tremor in June, 2024 and was pleased with the sales team. Then the air conditioning failed after 2200 miles in June and is still not working after 9+ weeks. There is a potential problem with compressors in 81,962 vehicles built in January-June. Thousands of vehicles have been repaired, often requiring multiple service appointments. While I blame Ford Corporate for the poor dealer support on this issue, I feel Bickford Service is not properly handling the situation either. I'll never buy a Ford product again due to lack of proper quality control in the vehicle production, slow response by Ford to acknowledge the problem and lack of timely warranty support. read more

Tucker and from what I can tell the manager at this dealership didn't mind absolutely wasting my time. I offered a price, and he responded with "OK!", He proceeded to have me waste my time filling out credit app even though I offer to pay cash. Then after all my time and effort the salesman said, "my manager is totally firm on pricing". I asked why they wasted my time and their response was "My manager doesn't negotiate without all the info together, so we didn't talk about price until I had everything." The correct response when someone offers a price is to actually see if its accepted, not to have a client waste time and effort to fill out forms and play a time game so that they feel like they would waste their time if they didnt go through with the transaction at a higher price. This way of doing business acts like we all have time to waste in our day, its disrespectful to the customer and a very bad sales tactic if that was the point of it. I purchased a new 2020 Ford Fusion for my father and had a fantastic experience working with my sales consultant, Jake Berg, at every stage of the purchase. The transaction had a few "moving parts" that required some creative thinking on Jake's side to make the sale happen. Jake was responsive, kept to his word and followed up with me in a timely manner. Jake has excellent consultative selling skills and I appreciated that he listened to me during the sales process and didn't try to talk "above me". He is super friendly, wants to facilitate a sale and I received an excellent price for the vehicle. He also worked to ensure that I would get the applicable rebates and I was impressed with the pricing. Bickford's pricing was better than the other dealerships I looked at around the Puget Sound. Jake kept me informed throughout the week about the vehicle's arrival and had the paperwork ready for my father to sign when he arrived from out of town. My father is over 80 years old and I wanted to limit his exposure during this time of pandemic. Jake understood and had the licensing paperwork completed in advance so my father didn't have to spend a lot of unnecessary time at the dealership. Jake also had Tucker available per my request to provide the vehicle orientation as soon as we arrived at the dealership. Tucker was patient, respectful and kind to my dad who is not comfortable with technology. I appreciated Tucker's patience during the vehicle overview. He made the experience of my dad getting his first brand new car in forty years pretty exciting! I highly recommend Bickford Ford and the team. Holly COW! We just purchased a 2020 Ford Edge ST from BickFord at the ending of November 2021 with over 14,000 miles on it and we paid cash for it! When we drove it home that evening we noticed the front brakes were starting to be a little warped, I thought to myself not a problem since the vehicle still had the remaining bumper to number warranty that should cover having the brakes turned. Just was told by Jody at BickFord service department that it won't be covered and the cost just to have the front rotors turned is going to cost us $580. What the hell!!!! We have a ton of brand new vehicles and I just took in my brand new TUNDRA Platinum truck and my brand new TACOMA to Burien Toyota where I bought the vehicles from and they turned both my trucks for FREE! I have the invoice to prove it. I get that ford won't turn the rotors under the bumper to bumper warranty. My complaint is that BickFord wants to charge us $580 just to turn the front rotors!!!! I can take it to LesSchwab and they will turn it for $150 on the vehicle. Something isn't right with BickFord Ford and gauging customs!!!!!!!!!! Especially since we have bought 3 Ford 150 and a 2020 Edge ST from them and we paid cash for all of them. And my partner use to be the owner of Signature Landscaping in Redmond, and they have bought all of there Ford trucks and vans directly through Chris in the fleet lease department.
