Never in a million years did I think I would be able to have something delivered and set up for me in my home. Then I made the wise decision to call Fitness Gallery. I spoke with a very kind and exceedingly helpful young man named Ryan. Trust me. He went above and beyond to help me and I put him through the wringer with a ton of questions, hesitations, and more questions. Even if I sent him an email on a weekend, he responded quickly. His knowledge of their products and patience were unlike any I have seen in a very, very long time. In fact, I would go so far as to say he restored my faith in customer service and attentiveness. Then, today, two young men pulled up in my driveway after a drive of nearly 5 hours. In around 30 minutes, they had my treadmill set up and ready to use. They were courteous and hard-working. This may sound silly to some, but I even noticed how straight they installed the floor mat and the treadmill in my office. I'm very much a person that likes to have things neat and orderly and I could not have done it better myself. So today, I have the privilege and the pleasure of reading my owners manual and finally having a treadmill in my home with which to improve my health and well-being. No more dreading the gym because of how many people will be judging me for my size and lack of physical fitness. No more embarrassment. I can focus on what matters most. My health. It was a flat bench with an upper and lower pulley ~~ pretty simple. These units are sold with a "lifetime warranty," which is a main reason to buy one. About four years ago I had a pulley cable break. I tried calling and e-mailing Tuff Stuff, which is headquartered in Chino, CA. No answer either way. Fitness Gallery was sympathetic but it was a "manufacturer's issue." I bit the bullet and had Fitness Gallery repair it. This cost me around $150. Last month the cable started fraying again. FG sent out another repair guy to replace the cable. This time it was $318. So I'm into this for around $500 ~~ just for cable repairs. Keep this cost in mind when you are looking at buying any Tuff Stuff equipment from Fitness Gallery. The "lifetime warranty" isn't lifetime, and the Tuff Stuff isn't tuff. Buyer beware. * The max load I put on these cables is 180 lbs for back rows.

Seeing a circular ad for shoes on sale, I wanted to buy a pair of hiking boots. Not seeing my size in the style I wanted, Kent came up to me just ask I was about to ask for help. I told him I couldn't find my size in the particular style I wanted and asked him if he knew if that brand was good. I had no idea I asked my question to the right person! As it turns out, hiking is a passion of Kent. He provided me with so much information about the soles of shoes, stitching, material, and protecting the material of the shoes. When I told him I was looking for a shoe that was a little more like a boot since I had a fear of snakes, Kent also had knowledge of that! When I finally settled on a choice of shoe based on Kent's recommendation, he also told me what to look for as I walked, explaining how much weight/pressure I put on what part of my foot as I walked. Kent wasn't a high-pressure sales person, but truly wanted to make sure I got a shoe I liked and would work for me. In fact, I walked out with two pairs of shoes! It's so difficult to find great customer service these days, let alone someone who genuinely enjoys his job and giving tailored advice. I can't thank Kent enough for the outstanding customer service he provided me.
