    When Pigs Fly Burrito

As a fan of breakfast burritos, Big Art's Tacos has been a local spot we've been wanting to try, but it ended up being a BIG let down. There's nothing about the burritos here that actually incentivize you to stand on the side of the road. The size and taste are average, but the reason I won't come back is the hygiene. The guys are wearing gloves, but touch dirty, non-food items then go right back to making your food without changing gloves. Of the three guys there, the two I saw do this were the two who were handling the food! The guy who recorded me and put it up on their story is the same guy wrapping everyone's burritos... I get that's it's a stand on the side of the road, but spots like this usually divide the work so it isn't an issue. If the food was good enough, I wouldn't mind putting up with this and I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it in my review, but that just isn't the case at Big Art's Tacos.

I finally had the chance to try out this taco stand out this morning. I past it so many times when going to the Olivo Shopping center and totally was the day to try them out. I highly recommend Big Art OG Breakfast burrito and ask for extra red sauce like 4 because it's a small container. The burrito was delicious and you get a decent size too. I asked for extra pico de gallo and they were happy to add that. The price is not that bad and reasonable for the amount of food you get. They accept cash, zelle and credit card with a fee now. Customer service is amazing here, I had a great time talking to the three guys who were working this morning while they were making my food. I believe they have horchata here as well and some kind of dessert.

Great breakfast burrito, well liked in the neighborhood. Service is great, the guys will small talk you while working quickly. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, but also everything you'd expect from a sidewalk stand. Try the Firme.

FINALLY got to try Big Art's Tacos! It did not disappoint. Burrito was so fresh and the tortilla was so soft. Each component of the Big Art's OG Breakfast Burrito could stand on its own. I can't wait to try all of them. They are located on Devonshire, east of Sepulveda behind B of A. Follow their Instagram @bigartstacos for days and times. Only open until 11:30am. Two guys on the grill and one guy ringing up the orders. All of them super nice and friendly. Muy guapo tambien. I love seeing good looking men cooking me food. My OG burrito was $12. I think it was worth every penny. Very hefty and full of meat. It was hard to wait until I got home. There's no seating at the stand.

Chilaquiles Burrito with Chorizo, no pics no avocado salsa. (I like to try things plain first, then add the heat.)

Big Arts Tacos has quickly become a favorite. I've been twice now and everything has been absolutely delicious. The Big Arts OG burrito is a must--fluffy eggs, moist and generously chopped carne asada, all wrapped up in a burrito that's big and filling. Honestly, all of their burritos are generously sized--I usually end up skipping lunch on burrito days because I'm still full! The chilaquiles with chorizo were incredible--spicy, flavorful chorizo balanced out by crispy chips. Total comfort food with a kick. When Pigs Fly was another hit. The bacon is perfectly crispy (not burnt!) and pairs so well with the hash browns. We ordered it without pico or salsa and it was still super tasty. And don't sleep on the fresh-squeezed OJ--bright, refreshing, and just what you need to balance the meal. The vibe is friendly and the service is quick, especially considering everything is made fresh to order. Art's there and always smiling - they treat everyone like a regular. We're already planning our next visit--the French Toast Burrito is next on our list. Can't wait to be back!

Been driving by this place so many times and there's always a line so definitely made it a point to stop and finally get a breakfast burrito. Ordered the big art's of breakfast burrito and it definitely hit the spot. They put a lot of steak and the meat is tasty and not dripping in oil. It could be a little bigger for the price but I get it. Inflation has done a number on all businesses. They are located near a shopping center so they have parking which is often a challenge when ordering from a spot like this that isn't a brick and mortar.

When Pigs Fly. Bacon, egg, tater tots and cheese. With some flavorful salsita!

The best breakfast burritos in the SFV--and honestly, all of LA! I live in LA but work in the Valley, and these burritos are absolutely worth the hype (and the wait). The crew is always so friendly, some of the best customer service you'll find anywhere! Plenty of parking and their playlist? Always a vibe!

I liked the chicken and the pork was red with some meat flavoring. Didn't taste like pork but tasted good. The tortillas were delish and the rice and beans paired great. I'm more of a cheese, sour cream, avocado taco person so I didn't get any toppings unfortunately. Overall, the food was pretty average. Just a decent Mexican meal.

I've only ordered there tacos but, my husband has had their burritos, asada fries, & quesadillas. He said they are really good. He keeps going back to the fries, which I agree are fantastic. I always get the same tacos. Asada, pollo, carnitas, cabeza, & lengua. I'm really craving these now as I write this review. The tacos are amazing & they don't skimp on meat at all! I was hesitant writing this review only because I don't want to wait in 20+ people lines lol. But, the truck really deserves to be talked about.

It's always peaked my interest and so I got a discount code from door dash and my husband and I thought hey why not finally try florianos? We were super excited he got a lengua burrito and I got a chile relleno burrito. He ordered his with some jalapeno salsa and I added on mine some jalapeños as a free add on. We're very much fans of spicy food but when I tell you that they put so much spice I mean it was almost a punishment more than a meal. I first tried my husbands thinking it was mine and as much as it was good it immediately was disturbingly spicy. But I was like hey whatever he asked for the jalapeno salsa I mean we didn't say how much to put on. So I ignored it trying to stay unbiased because like I said I was eager to eat here for a while. I started eating my burrito and noticed it didn't have meat and honestly for $12 it's a bit wild in my opinion to charged that much for a burrito with no meat. But hey whatever I thought. Times are crazy inflation is high. Also I looked back on the app and it was a $3 charge for meat that I had missed when I was getting my order together so I blamed myself for that. The first half where the chile was, was good. A couple jalapeños here and there not too bad. I liked it the beans were good the rice was good but then I got to the second half of my burrito and I noticed a crazy amount of jalapeños. I started pulling them out and in the picture it shows how many jalapeños I pulled from just that part of the burrito. Keep in mind I've already ate a good amount of jalapeños already. It's like they poured a small can of jalepenos on my burrito. I stopped eating it and my husband tried finishing it for me without the jalapeños in it. He said it tasted like it was soaked in jalapeno juice. That being said I'm willing to try it again and hopefully whoever made it was just someone having a bad day. ‍
