On the way home from visiting a friend in SoCal, we had to stop for gas and decided to look for a spot to eat. Before we got back on the road for a multi-hour drive. We searched the area for something unique, and as I was going to U-Turn to go back towards the freeway. My girlfriend and I see Big Art's Tacos near the side of the road, cooking up fresh food under a tent. After pulling into the lot and walking up, we're greeted by 3 staff members while we eye the delicious looking food on the grill. And also scan the food for what we want. We ended up ordering the following: The OG burritos x2 (Asada) First off, the burritos were HUGE! Nice and hot, fresh off the grill, and were delicious; especiallywoth the spicy red salsa! I stopped by Big Art's Taco after being curious for so long and grabbed the carne asada breakfast burrito (the OG) with an orange juice. The burrito was HUGE and had the perfect amount of everything. Sometimes breakfast burritos are overloaded with potatoes or eggs, but this one was really balanced and every bite was amazing. I got the salsa rojo with it and it was seriously tasty, but I wish it had a little more kick haha. That's genuinely my only complaint. The salsa verde was also on the mild side and super good as well. The orange juice was a big surprise for me! Orange juice is my favorite juice to drink, so I have it pretty often and can usually tell when it's fresh. This was seriously some of the best orange juice I've ever had. It tasted like actual oranges, not sugary concentrate, and wasn't overly sweet at all. Just fresh, refreshing, and exactly how orange juice should taste. As a fan of breakfast burritos, Big Art's Tacos has been a local spot we've been wanting to try, but it ended up being a BIG let down. There's nothing about the burritos here that actually incentivize you to stand on the side of the road. The size and taste are average, but the reason I won't come back is the hygiene. The guys are wearing gloves, but touch dirty, non-food items then go right back to making your food without changing gloves. Of the three guys there, the two I saw do this were the two who were handling the food! The guy who recorded me and put it up on their story is the same guy wrapping everyone's burritos... I get that's it's a stand on the side of the road, but spots like this usually divide the work so it isn't an issue. If the food was good enough, I wouldn't mind putting up with this and I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it in my review, but that just isn't the case at Big Art's Tacos. read more

I finally had the chance to try out this taco stand out this morning. I past it so many times when going to the Olivo Shopping center and totally was the day to try them out. I highly recommend Big Art OG Breakfast burrito and ask for extra red sauce like 4 because it's a small container. The burrito was delicious and you get a decent size too. I asked for extra pico de gallo and they were happy to add that. The price is not that bad and reasonable for the amount of food you get. They accept cash, zelle and credit card with a fee now. Customer service is amazing here, I had a great time talking to the three guys who were working this morning while they were making my food. I believe they have horchata here as well and some kind of dessert. read more

FINALLY got to try Big Art's Tacos! It did not disappoint. Burrito was so fresh and the tortilla was so soft. Each component of the Big Art's OG Breakfast Burrito could stand on its own. I can't wait to try all of them. They are located on Devonshire, east of Sepulveda behind B of A. Follow their Instagram @bigartstacos for days and times. Only open until 11:30am. Two guys on the grill and one guy ringing up the orders. All of them super nice and friendly. Muy guapo tambien. I love seeing good looking men cooking me food. My OG burrito was $12. Was driving by and saw this taco stand and so many people were waiting so I decided to get in line too. I got the "when pigs can fly" burrito (a bacon burrito) it was so fantastic! Carlos made my burrito and was making great conversation the entire time and made the burrito so perfect I can't believe it! The burrito was so full of flavor but not too overwhelming. Big Arts Tacos has quickly become a favorite. I've been twice now and everything has been absolutely delicious. The Big Arts OG burrito is a must--fluffy eggs, moist and generously chopped carne asada, all wrapped up in a burrito that's big and filling. Honestly, all of their burritos are generously sized--I usually end up skipping lunch on burrito days because I'm still full! The chilaquiles with chorizo were incredible--spicy, flavorful chorizo balanced out by crispy chips. Total comfort food with a kick. When Pigs Fly was another hit. The bacon is perfectly crispy (not burnt!) and pairs so well with the hash browns. We ordered it without pico or salsa and it was still super tasty. And don't sleep on the fresh-squeezed OJ--bright, refreshing, and just what you need to balance the meal. The vibe is friendly and the service is quick, especially considering everything is made fresh to order. Art's there and always smiling - they treat everyone like a regular. It's gotten ridiculous! Went to the Chatsworth spot a few days after it opened, and my burrito was cold. Safe to say, I won't be returning. I've been driving past Big Arts Tacos for a while, and today I finally stopped by. I ordered the OG Burrito and it was amazing super flavorful, really well put together and a big portion. I paired it with their café de olla, which was the perfect touch. I usually see a long line here but I must've come at the right time around 10 AM because it was quick and easy. The guys working were friendly and the customer service was great. Definitely worth the price I'll be coming back to try more of the menu. read more

I've tried this place several times, and this review is long overdue. I've had several burritos, and "When Pigs Fly" and "El Vegano" are surprisingly great, especially considering one is vegan. The veggies they use are very filling, and I usually only eat half. My favorite is Big Art's OG Breakfast Asada Burrito. The asada is fantastic and has a great flavor. They serve up a delicious salsa with just the right amount of kick. The café de olla has a smooth taste--no creamer needed. The coffee cake is also really good. The best part is that they are very close to home, walking distance. I see these guys setting up at 6:00 a.m. on my way to work. They're all really nice, and you can tell they make the food with passion. If you're looking for a great breakfast burrito and you're really hungry, definitely try this place and make sure to get extra salsa! read more

With 3 people manning the line, Big Art's Tacos provides some pretty quick service. You can find them under a black tent and sign on the street with parking inside a lot. Great place to get breakfast.The nicest guys and great service! I always have the Crudo burrito bowl with scrambled eggs and all the meats (no tots-watching my carbs). Their carne asada is so tender and absolutely delicious. Not to mention the yummy chorizo and bacon. And that green salsa, so good! It's a really generous portion so I get two breakfasts out of one. Tater tots aren't crispy, I asked for El Firme (2 protein options) and only received 3 slices of bacon & the cheese isn't what I expected. I still devoured it in 10min lol Line was short, parking is easy & there was a friendly (I assume) homeless man who was so kind and made conversation with everyone.
