Tacos okay but the Flock (ICE) cameras may not be worth the salsa. Keyword: ICE, CPB, Migra, Immigration

Food is alright, birria not bad and good beer selection, but the FLOCK cameras, not worth the pint. (ICE, COV, Migra, Border Patrol. Surveillance)

Taking advantage of the cash discount on taco Tuesday. It's very clean, friendly staff and lots of seats My taco cabeza was delicious. The dorado was good but oily for me. It's worth a return trip and for you to try.

I stopped by this Tacos El Tijuanense restaurant to pick up a surprise dinner my wife. I saw their instagram video and was tempted to try their Tacos Estilo Tijuana. I called the restaurant but no one picked up so I waited and tried again where someone finally pick up. There was some communication problems because the person couldn't understand my order correctly so I had to repeat it a couple of times. I got the asada regular tacos, asada tacos Tijuana, Pozole (my wife favorite), dorados which is their crunchy taco and mulitas. When I arrived to the place, I found parking in the plaza it was in but it was a late Sunday night. I had to wait a little inside the restaurant for my food to be ready. You get your own salsa and sides. My wife loved her Pozole when I brought it home. The tacos you have to eat it while it's hot for the best taste. The regular tacos were delicious, the taco Tijuana was whatever to me. My aunt loved the dorados and my wife said the only thing missing with the mulita was the cheese.

Very authentic Mexican food, definitely a place locals go to. Inside is colorfully decorated with Mexican paper and murals inside. They have decent prices too. I recently went to a Mexican restaurant and it was $15 per taco, so it was a breath of fresh air to get $4 tacos here that had great portions, and very filling. Two tacos and I was full, very satisfied. They have a salsa station Thats self serve and horchatas, beer, soda fountain. Chips were good too. My critique: too many flies inside!! Flies everywhere, landing on food and drinks. That needs to be taken care of. Besides the fly situation, it's a very Mexican place here. Decent prices and good portions.

This is definitely my favorite spot to get birria in the valley. I usually get the tacos dorados with cheese and a side of consome, and it never disappoints! It's the birria is alway super juicy and has so much flavor. They have some specials during the week, and they also serve beer here. The ambiance is very casual and there's lots of indoor seating. Service is great too, the servers are always really sweet.

When always go to this place when we are craving for Birria. We always order 3 Tacos Dorados with consome. We love the food and service.

Stopped in while in LA. This place opens at 9 am! The restaurant is cute and is decorated like a typical restaurant in Mexico. The decor and music are on point. The restaurant offers a wide range of Mexican specialties. Their main thing are the Tijuana-style tacos, hence the name. I'm ordered 3 carne asada tacos, Tijuana style. This means the tacos came with cilantro, onions, fresh tomato salsa, and guacamole. The guacamole is what makes them Tijuana style. The restaurant offers a wide variety of drinks including fountain drinks and aguas frescas. The tacos were delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful - I was in heaven!! The restaurant has plenty of seating and can easily accommodate large groups. They also offered adult beverages, including various flavors of Michelada's. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the kitchen prepare prepared my order pretty quickly. The food was nice and hot. I am definitely going back to this place when I am in the area for work and recommend this place to anyone who wants delicious authentic Mexican tacos. I'm looking forward to trying other things they have on the menu. Enjoy!

I loved the tacos here; they were very delicious. We came right when it opened so it was empty but I'm sure it gets busy. The decor is really cute and the place looks super clean. I would love to come back even if it's not super close to me.

I really love the Corbin location but today I decided to try this location for the first time. It's very cute and clean inside with a fun ambiance. The music brings more of a vibe to go along with the neon lights and lively environment. The staff was very nice and pleasant and there's plenty of parking in the private lot. I ordered the carne asada torta with no beans and was kind of disappointed. The meat was extremely tough and the bread was super soggy. I would recommend getting the salsa on the side. I would definitely go back to this location and give it another try. Maybe it was a just a bad batch of tough meat.

*Delayed post from Feb '25 This restaurant took my love of Mexican food to another level. I've eaten birria ramen in Cozumel, Mexico before, but these tacos are something else. The tacos dorados were so crunchy and greasy, but in the best way! The quality of the meat speaks for itself, but I also loved how many options they had available in their toppings bar. The inside has such a cool, modern street vibe with the wall art, neon signs and colorful banners. There's plenty of parking in the lot and lots of seating inside. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table.

This restaurant is literally a hidden gem in the valley, Mexican food , drinks and sports all in one location. I had been to their Northridge location so new their mulitas de cabeza , quesatacos de asada were going to be good and they were. I love how this location has so much more going on. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The vibe was great , they had the dodgers game do that was a plus they have a few football games on schedule we might be coming for. The sangria was good I recommend if your a wine person.

Plenty of good salsas and extras.

Some of the best tacos I've had in a long time. The Birria Tacos and the Consommé are excellent. The Dorados tacos are also great. The Bean & Cheese Burrito with everything is delicious. iThe salsa bar has a couple of nice offerings, and there are plenty of napkins everywhere. The service is extremely efficient. Not the friendliest, but efficient. I've been here a couple of times and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We came back for tacos! This time I had the carne asada tacos and tried the birria taco -- both were delicious. I also had a tasty michelada to go with my meal. The food is so flavorful you don't even need salsa (unless you want that extra kick!). I brought my cousin along this time and she loves it too -- she's already on her second order of tacos!

Do they have a taco truck that can rented for parties?

I don't see any chile relleno burrito on the menu, but you show it on Instagram. Is it available or discontinued?

It’s not offered at the Northridge location, but the 2 food trucks and restaurant in North Hills do.

Can you order their happy hour menu to go?

Unfortunately No. Only for DINE IN

She had a nasty attitude and no smiles at all. I asked if they sold sopes I asked where on the meñu was it? So I can look at my options. The server told me it wasn't on the Meñu. In my head I'm like "how do you not have it on the meñu but yet sell it ?" I didn't make it a big deal but for some reason she seemed annoyed. I also asked one of the other servers if they can bring a lemonade for my daughter, she had said yes she can do that. But.. We got our food 35 mins later (keep in mind it was one plate) we were waiting on. & we still hadn't gotten our lemonade I had asked for. The cook brought us our plate & he was nice and asked if we needed anything else. I said " I asked one of the servers for a lemonade and it still hasn't been brought." & he mentioned he would let them know. Then the server comes back with an attitude and places it on the table, not even a word said. I even thanked her multiple times and nothing was said, no "you're welcome" or anything. She never even checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else. If you can't handle being a server why even work as one? Simple as that. This is what ruins a restaurant's reputation and makes people not want to go back. No tip was deserved.

To my surprise, it's definitely worth going in. As you walk in, they have a smoothie/fresh drinks area. On the left side, they have the ordering window. It came with a side plate of spices (oregano, chile de arbol), sliced lemons, chopped onions, and cilantro. The chicken taquitos dorados (a la carte) were flavorful, tasty, and moist.
