Chilaquiles $18 not bad at all, it's a rather large portion.
    Jd C.

Ok, I am a chef and sometimes it's hard to write reviews, only because I have been in the food industry for over 25 years, so I know about food quality, pricing , service, etc. I live close to Casa De Nati, and I have seen lines almost every day, and I thought "I have to visit. Today, April 27, and maybe because it's Monday at almost 11:00a.m, there shouldn't be a line. I was wrong found a long line. I went in and signed up for a table, but because I was by myself, I changed my mind and ordered to go. The gentleman that attended me was super nice and helpful, the place was packed, cleanliness amazing. I ordered Chilaquiles and the price is fair for the amount of food they serve you. Chilaquiles with a salsa verde, refried beans, homemade potatoes, and over easy eggs, this was delicious. I personally would have added a little more flavor to the salsa but overall I give this place 4 stars very well deserved. I will visit with my family and will follow another review.

Food and drinks were amazing! But the service, that's where the true quality was. We had the Huevos Rancheros. Delicious! A must try.

I tried the tacos dorados this time. I was given the choices of meat, asada, machaca or chicken and while I was thinking the sweet server Araceli suggested 1 of each. Ummmm YESSSSS. The shell was crispy and crunchy. It was packed with meat, lettuce, tomato and cotijo cheese. Salsa was flavorful without burning my tongue. Aracely and everyone there was super sweet and attentive. I chatting with my girlfriends and they never rushed us or made us feel like "hurry up and leave." It's a very simple and quaint restaurant. Maybe 8-9 four tops and a couple of small tables. Always busy. Not sure what the best quiet time is. Parking kinda sucks since it's next to so many businesses. I told my friend look for the weed and porn shop. The restaurant is in the middle. LOL. My friend who has ADA placard had to park across the street and "Frogger" her way across. That's a reference for Gen X.

SERVICE is 5/5 There is a wait. People here seem to love the food. Lots of people waiting to get inside. Street parking is a bit hard to find. But you can park across the street at the paint and grocery store. The coffee is 5/5 The food portions are huge. We loved the food but it wasn't as authentic as we thought it would be. But it was still good. The chorizo here was not my cup of tea. Tasted a bit more like sausage. The food is very flavorful. My chilaquiles could have done without the chorizo. Next time I'll remember not to order that with it lol. The service alone here is A1 !!!! They are very attentive and nice. Always making sure you have everything you need. Caramel Latte is the best. It's a very clean establishment. Not too small but not too big.

Friendly staff with delicious chilies de rancheros. Very simple decor and no frills. Street parking can be a little difficult but not hard to find. Come support your small businesses!

Casa de Nati is a breakfast and lunch eatery, in Mission Hills. It is a small cozy place that has a limited menu, but covers the main areas of Mexican and American favorites. My first trip there was a failure because there were lines outside and I could not find parking. So I turned around and abandoned the visit, waited for a few days and went back. This time on a weekday and still, I was lucky to get the last table. My mind was focused on their Huevos Rancheros, that comes with a side of refried beans and a choice of hash brown or home potatoes. I managed to charm the server, to get half and half of the potatoes. My other request was that there be no cheese anywhere and that my eggs be prepared over easy. The plate that came to my table was well arranged and had attractive optics. Both the potato selections were well browned with the house potatoes more charred with a nice burnt taste. The refried beans were silky, the eggs perfectly cooked to my liking. What was impressive here were the crispy tortillas (probably deep fried) that cradled the eggs. They were done fresh, two of them on top of each other, producing a wonderful crackling crispiness and flavor, each time you cut into them. Easily, one of the most memorable Huevos Rancheros dishes I have had. The service here was very friendly, everyone smiling, repeatedly checking on you and nothing short of extraordinary. They clean up tables fast, and go out of the entrance to call in the people waiting in line, to inform them that their table is ready. Very Impressive. Such caring, warm and inviting hospitality. It made me happy, to think that I was patient enough to give this small restaurant another go, to get in. Good things do come to those who wait. Muchas Gracias.

I had plans to go to brunch on my birthday and realized that the place I had originally planned to go to was closing in 20 mins! Quickly, I went to Yelp to see where I could grab a delicious breakfast/ lunch. Casa de Nati did not disappoint!!!! I am so glad that I found this place. Staff were extremely friendly. It felt like home (literally and figuratively speaking-- it's in the name). The food was delicious! I loved the presentation of everything as well. Food is an artform, and they did a great job capturing that. My favorite was for sure the agua de sandia. Will definitely be back!!

Today was a first for me at Casa de Nati... This has been a place that I have been waiting to try for soooo long! They always have a line out the door, and when I drove by during brunch time today, looking for a place to eat, their line looked calm which was the perfect opportunity for dine-in Just an fyi, parking is a little limited but don't let that deter you, there is residential parking and some parking in the back and street parking on Devonshire. Today I had the opportunity to try their chicken and waffles plate, the meat lovers plate, and an order of the strawberry and banana pancakes along with a vanilla latte. Their waffles and pancakes are fluffy, and delicious with a small crisp to them when you bite them. The chicken tenders with my chicken and waffles plate are juicy and breaded with a great-tasting batter. Our very kind and informative waitress informed me that the chicken tenders are handmade everyday in the morning. The Meat Lovers plate contained ham, sausage, eggs, bacon and potatoes which was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional as our waitress was kind, informative, and checked in with us quite often. Everything was 10/10!! Casa de Nati is added to my rotation for my favorite breakfast places

We had the red chilaquiles with arránchela and they were really tasty 100/10! I will totally be returning back here and definitely recommend it to everyone! I've had other dishes here and I've always loved the taste! The vibe is super friendly they kept refilling my coffee. It was really good. even I had even after I had already paid they kept refilling my coffee, which was really nice. definitely the best coffee I've had the taste was amazing. give this restaurant a try you won't regret it. To the restaurant thank you for having us God bless you!

The food is fairly priced for the quality and menu presented. This is both a special occasion or casual dinning restaurant. Many showed up in shorts and tank tops (YUK) and others were nicely dressed for brunch. Their brunch menu had a lot of miss and hit items. Next time I would skip the Mango Habanero Shrimp and Truffle Popcorn chicken. The deep fried shrimp was overbowered by the bleu cheese dressing; the mango and and habanero flavors were visibly detectable but not balanced. The fried chicken and popcorn had clove and moderate seasoning which made it difficult to detect the truffle flavors which would have made this dish a success. The presentation was cute, but it missed the mark for us. The petite Charcuterie board, aquachile and ahi tuna poke were both a success! Each had quality and fresh ingredients. The shrimp and ahi tuna were perfectly prepared and well balanced in flavor. Next time I really want to try their bruch platter for two as it offered a generous portion and everytable that ordered them appeared to have really enjoyed it. The bar is great as it offers many options for mocktails, coctails, beer and wine. Next time I want to return for dinner and try some meat items on the menu.

The restaurant is tucked in a small convenience strip on the corner of Devonshire and Woodley. Parking is limited but there is lots of street parking. The convenience store let me park in the front. You'll meet Sylvia when you walk in. Sylvia made me feel as if I was there last week. The restaurant is well lit and has good ambiance. The bathroom was very clean. I chose crab cake as my appetizer. I would have loved two crab cakes, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I went to CF Food for their Beef Wellington, and I was not disappointed. The pastry was golden and crispy, with a gentle firmness at the base to bed the Beef. The Beef Wellington was perfect!! It was tender, cut through like butter and was perfectly seasoned, which awakened your palate. I don't know why I ordered medium. I should have ordered medium rare. Note to self. The pommes puree was firm yet smooth. I couldn't get enough of it. I think I licked my fork I was driving so one glass of Cabernet would do. I ended this spectacular meal with a slice of cheesecake. As you can see by my empty plates, I enjoyed my dinner. I noticed several couples on a date, and friends who fought over the check. If you're looking for a new restaurant to visit. I highly recommend CF Food Kitchen. By the way, Sylvia also said the Alligator was amazing. Guess I'll be back.

Usually I try the beans once and that's it. I'm pretty sure the tortillas were homemade. I loved that they were thick enough to hold everything but soft enough to eat. Salsa was a little too spicy for my liking. Everything was seasoned well. Everyone was very nice! But I definitely had to use my high school Spanish. Between my Spanglish and her English it was no problem. It's a very small hole in the wall. Cases of beer were stacked against the wall. There were only about 5-6 two top tables. Not good for a crowd but definitely great food. I think there was one unisex bathroom. I didn't go in. Looking at the pictures online I didn't know there was an outdoor patio. Looks nice in the pictures. I'm not sure about a parking lot. We parked on the street on Parthenia which was a little scary because drivers don't care about people getting out of the car.
