Seriously one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The bacon alone is worth driving for!

My breakfast or experience did not match the ratings. I ordered "Steak & Eggs" with Grits. I ordered my steak "Medium" and my eggs "Over Easy". When my order came out, one of the other waitresses (not ours) accidentally spilt the Au Jus all over my food. So she said she would replace it. My plate came back but was just a new plate with the same food. My steak was cooked "Well Done" and the eggs were cooked "Over Medium". The manager saw my discomfort and asked how everything was and I told him that my steak was not done the way I asked. He said he saw my face and that's why he asked. He told me he would replace it. When my steak came back, I cut into one part and it was "Medium", so I thought I was good to go and so did the manager. But as I continued eating, my steak was "Medium-Rare" throughout the rest of the steak. I chose to not say anything about it or that my eggs were over cooked as well. The cooks will effect the front of the House's tip. For an $18.10 bill I only tipped $1.90. The waitress told me that they get complaints about that all the time. Manager either needs to re-educate the cooks or get new cooks who know how to cool properly. I probably won't be returning. read more

Like many have said, the wait is not great. I found service to be decent but again not great although far from horrible. This was my first time trying. The food was definitely delicious. My friend ordered the redneck benny with pancakes. Only issue we had with our food was the ham was overly salty almost to the point of inedible but everything else was very tasty. The pancake, biscuits and eggs were all done very well. The skillet I ordered tasted delicious and I enjoyed my grapefruit. Will definitely be back again to try something else read more

Does not honor reservations. Staff is hit or miss on promptness. Food is pretty good, but not worth the hastle.

The food is really good but what makes the experience better is when Crystal is your waitress. She makes the experience so much better.

Food was cold. Charged for items I didn't order because I inquired to the missing items from my order and the server couldn't answer my questions on the missing items. Missing items were brought to the table and then a bit later and the same items were delivered again and said they made it for me. It would have been OK had the food been comped for their confusion but instead they charged me extra. Won't be going back.... Pancakes were cold but otherwise decent .. none of the other items stood out. read more

Okay, I decided to give BBB another try because the food was good the first time. I realize that food establishments in general are having a hard time finding reliable and motivated employees. The second experience was much better. We had a different waitress who was prompt, friendly, and checked on us a few times during our visit. Much better overall experience. They have great biscuits and I ordered the avocado toast again, therefore, upped my rating for the food and service improvement. read more

One of my favorite restaurants and I'm been very impatiently waiting for them to open walking distance from my house. Soooo excited! Food was just amazing as ever, absolutely no complaints about food or service!! It was perfection and everyone was so nice and calm despite the insane wait. The pancakes, Jack Benny and BLT omelette are my favs, but will try others now that I can go more often. I put myself on the wait list and waited out 55 of my 70 min wait at home, so I was very happy with my "wait time". Unfortunately not very many people know about the wait list option on Yelp so in my short 15 min wait outside there were at least 40 families that left because they were appalled by the long wait time. It is Mother's Day and opening weekend, so not sure what they expected but Karen's will be Karen's. My only suggestions would be to promote the wait list option so people know about it for future visits... or so they can put their names on the list and run errands or go for a walk while waiting. It's freaking genius and should be used more!! Also, I was a party of 2 but was seated at a 6 top at the very front. So we were extremely uncomfortable with the many parties of 4 & 5 sitting waiting and staring at us. Maybe even they could have sat us at one end of the 6 top and then another party of 2 at the opposite end. We literally ordered our meals immediately, ate super fast and asked for my check as soon as the food arrived so we could turnover the table super fast since we were so uncomfortable with everyone staring and wondering why we were wasting such a large table. I was greeted promptly and seated. Then, I waited approximately 20 minutes without service or being acknowledged. At the time of arrival, there was one occupied table inside the restaurant and two on the patio where I was seated. Two tables sat after I was sested had beverages and orders taken, table next to mine received their order. I left without staff saying a word except for the initial greeting. What a great restaurant! Just opened two days ago and this place rocks! Funky interior with a mid-century vibe. Our server Lindsey was attentive and answered our questions and gave recommendations. Came in yesterday during peak brunch time. Lemme say their server Tyler was great! It was our first time in Tennessee and a local recommended this spot. Me and a couple friends visited TN a bit ago, and we decided to stop by. Next time we visit we'll definitely come by again!!
