I visit this location on a Sunday, during brunch hours. Up on our arrival we had a hour wait for a party of five. Our waitress Kenya was great however she did not have the necessary support from the working manager Miss Kirsten Braden once we received our food food was cold. We expressed this situation of cold food to Kenya and she happily obliged with taking our plates back to the kitchen to be corrected. However the manager Miss Brayden appear to be very annoyed, even rolling her eyes. She the annoyed mngr began to scold our waitress as if she was the problem. Once I finally received my meal I noticed hair in my food due to the kitchen staff having no hair nets. Hopefully upper mng't can work out the kinks in the kitchen and perhaps have a long conversation with the manager Ms. Brayden as she is the representation of that establishment. read more

For a 55 minute wait, we thought everything would be five star. But the coffee was bitter, the pancakes were tough and tasteless, and the syrup was a poor maple imitation. The dining chairs are hard and don't have cushions. It was definitely not a "magical" place for breakfast. read more

LOVED this place when it opened. We've probably been there a couple dozen times over the past year. But it's going downhill. We visited last Saturday and again today - both times, food was cold. My wife's waffle was so cold last weekend that butter wouldn't even begin to melt. And eggs and sausage were cold today - the chicken sausage was room temp, at best. And the restrooms were not up to par today. Not sure what's gone on here, but my wife refuses to go back. I guess we are back to J Christopher's, Tupelo Honey, and First Watch. The bartender was like a zombie moving around and barely taking an order. The syrup bottle didn't work it was so old and not cleaned. Took a few minutes for me to get his attention, then when I say something about it, he looked at me like I had horns growing out my head. The hotcakes were good. Not going to take anything away from them, but if that was their typical bacon that they serve, I cannot understand why this place is still in business. My husband and I had a little time before an appointment at Williamson Medical Center, so we stopped here for coffee and a small bite to eat. Our waitress, Izzy, was very attentive and friendly. Literally checked in at home, was told to arrive by 10:47 check in to be seated by 11:02. Tables are being left empty for over 15 mins while they wait on a large enough party. My waitlist position went up and not down while we waited over an hour. People that missed there notification to be seated were able to walk in 20 mins after and be seated right away. Excellent breakfast with efficient and friendly server. All three of us were very pleased. One companion ordered a grits bowl. She especially liked the chicken sausage and tangy cheesy grits. My husband and I have eaten at this place a few times and have finally decided it's not worth it. He's ordered a breakfast sandwich twice, both times asking for the egg to be over-medium and it came out waaayy over-easy. As in maybe on the pan for 10 seconds. The third time he tried their "big bad breakfast hash" and it was SO tiny! Also, their size of pancake is entirely too small for the price. Overall the food is tasty but for the size portions you get, it's very disappointing. I will say though, they have a green salsa that's absolutely amazing but not enough to get us back. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking to get full without having to order multiple menu items. read more

I'm new to this neighborhood and wanted to give this place a try. I ordered a skillet similar to the ones I love at First Watch and J Christopher's. To say it wasn't as good is a gross understatement. It was so disgusting I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The scrambled eggs were a grayish pale yellow and mushy. The potatoes weren't crispy or the least bit salted or seasoned. The bacon chop was huge chewy chunks that tasted more like ham. Only tiny specs of the veggies promised on the menu (this was supposed to be a veggie skillet, the bacon was an add-on). The whole bowl was a pile of watery mush. Never again. I'll stick with First Watch up the street. read more

Should have gone to Waffle House. When traveling we like to try local places and this one looked promising. The decor is so cute, but it went downhill from there. My husband ordered the breakfast plate, and I had the Belgian waffle. They brought his food and the eggs were cold and so was the bacon. He sent it back and I still hadn't received my meal. She said it was coming. When they brought him a new plate the food was hot, but I still hadn't received mine. Halfway through his meal the waitress said it was her fault. She had entered my husbands order then got side tracked and didn't get mine entered. I received my meal after my husband finished his. The waffle was very small and neither the waffle or the sausage was hot. I never got a refill on my coffee and she said she spoke to the manager and the only thing they did was not charge for my coffee. We didn't actually complain or expect anything off the bill, but it would have been nice if the manager had at least come and addressed it with us. We didn't feel like they actually cared about their customers. If they had been busy we would have understood, but they were not busy. We don't understand how you get side tracked when entering a customers order and not completing it. Bad service all around. Next time it will be Waffle House for us because we know we will have better service and hot meals. Don't waste your time and money on mediocre food. read more

I will be honest, I was skeptical on trying this place but so glad that we did. It was wonderful. We had the breakfast sandwich with bacon, BBB breakfast, French toast, pancake, redneck. Everything was great. Better than Loveless and I hate to say probably better than biscuit love and milk and honey. Will definitely be on our list the next trip to TN. Servers were so good. read more

This place was amazing! The biscuits are to die for! They are huge, super buttery, and melt in your mouth. Yum. Pair with any of their home-made preserves (my mom had blackberry, I had strawberry--both delicious). The main dishes were just as yummy. My mom had a breakfast skillet and I tried their play on eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly--which is hard to find someone to do--those serious brunch people know what I'm talking about! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the two hosts were seriously confused and all over the place. We were told an initial wait time of 45 minutes (went during peak brunch time) and when I checked back in, they had lost the reservation! But, in the end, they got us in at the 45 minute mark, so it all worked out. Just a little sloppy on how they were tracking it all. But you're here for the food, right?! Where to start.....First with a place that is half full and a full staff of servers and kitchen staff standing with their arms folded waiting on tickets no one should ever have to wait to be seated. Second they should probably hire servers that actually listen to what the customer is ordering rather then looking around at the guys who are sitting in his section. My fiancé and I are not one to not leave a tip, in fact we leave well over 20% even if you are awful. But Andrew truly did not deserve a tip, if you don't have the time to check on your table or even bring them the tab because you are to busy talking to friends or whomever then I don't have the time to write a tip in the tip section of my receipt.
