So I came here twice now, first time was with my mom food was great, service wasn't up to par. This last time I went with my roommate. I got the avocado toast and the eggs came, instead of poached, hard boiled, so I asked my server if I could get poached eggs and I would pay the difference if needed. Not sure if the kitchen guy got mad and felt like giving me a basically raw egg or if they were just untrained on how to properly poach an egg. Okay. I'm giving this place the fairest review I can based on my DELICIOUS biscuit & gravy and my husband's SAD chicken & waffle, so three stars it is. We were seated immediately on the patio, which overlooks the very inviting pool of an upscale condo complex. Our service was quick and friendly. I will ALWAYS try biscuits & gravy and boy am I glad I did! For just under $6, I enjoyed a very large biscuit generously covered in the most delicious sausage gravy. So yum. My son ordered the $11 belgian waffle with "spicy" bacon. Husband made the mistake of ordering the chicken & waffle. He was presented with a very large helping of chicken on top of a belgian waffle. It looked good, but unfortunately, didn't taste as good. I thought the chicken was bone-in, but I'm told it was boneless. It was very WELL done - to the point where it was chewy and just difficult to eat. Husband ended up leaving half of it uneaten on his plate. My son doesn't eat bacon, so Husband and I split his bacon. I will say that it wasn't spicy at all. Based on other reviews, our visit must have been a fluke incident where the chicken was overcooked. Another restaurant patron stopped my husband on our way out to inquire about the C&W. When he told her it wasn't that good, she said it didn't look that great (so, it wasn't just us!). read more

I really enjoyed my first trip to BBB. They've only been open for nine days, so yes, there were some things they need to work on, like the condensation, but that didn't bother me. It's being fixed today. I had a regular latte. It hit the spot. I had dark meat chicken and waffles. The cane syrup reminded me of home. The chicken was delicious. Try the spicy bacon! My friend had one of the skillets and said it was really good! I ate her biscuit. Tasted like home. I'll most definitely be back to try the chicken biscuit sandwich and one of the skillets! read more

We were delighted to be seated in twenty minutes after being told the wait was thirty. We did mind the forty-five minute wait to receive our food which was cold and the second cup of coffee was cold as well and tasted bitter. The big bad breakfast was tasteless except for the smoked ham. Our server was also the greeter and bar server so our food sat in the windups for quite some time. We have visited the Nashville location often during this pandemic with fast service and hot food. We don't recommend this restaurant. read more

Waiting two hours was a waste of time. The breakfast was, decent, not brilliant. A little above average food. But their estimated one hour wait turned into two, and I know why. Firstly, it was convenient to see the waiting list on my cell phone, but depressing when the estimated hour stretched to two. Once we got in, we were offered seats at the bar, which we took, greeted with the last people's dirty plates. Five minutes later, they cleaned the plates, but had to walk around the bar to get them. I got half a cup of warm, at best, decaf, and we both got water. We placed our order and to our delight, the food arrived quickly. We then quickly realized it would have been helpful if they had given us utensils to eat it with. The first person we asked was apparently either unwilling or unqualified for so great a task as retrieving silverware, as she quickly averted her gaze and purposefully turned away when we waved and called politely to her. After a couple of minutes we did get the silverware. Then we needed ketchup and jam for the biscuits, which took a minute or two more, poured into individual little containers. We finished our food, left a bigger tip than was deserved, and vowed to never go back. Why were they so slow? A lack of organization. The kitchen could produce the food, which was enjoyable, but the front of the house people, while nice and friendly, were disorganized and inefficient. Every one of them seemed to be working individually, on an island. No designated busser, no one behind the counter getting the items ready for the wait staff. Instead, everyone did their own thing, and were stretched too thin, and forgetting and missing so much. A two hour wait for breakfast is ridiculous. If they added someone who could run the place it would work so much better, and we'd go back. But I'll avoid it and point my friends and family elsewhere. read more

Great breakfast spot on the coast. Just at the Intersection of CR30A and US98. Award winning Chef does AM food right. All the food was fresh and it was evident. Benny was made with fresh biscuits and hollandaise. The Avocado Toast (which has become almost cliche at this point) was very impressive as it was presented more as a salad complete with fresh Crabmeat. Take note...it's walk-ins only, no reservations. The larger your group, the larger the wait. It is a smaller space. Expect some sort of wait regardless of party size. Service is typical of a diner style. Don't expect Chateaubriand carved tableside and you will be fine. Pay your check at the counter old school style and enjoy the beach as you gleefully moan knowing all of the calories you just consumed. read more

(Been here before at an earlier time, and the wait was about 10 mins) It's a big restaurant, with outdoor seating as well. There is always friendly service as well! Horrible experience here. Called the restaurant to see if they had a gluten free menu, host on the phone said yes. Waited 45 mins for a table. Checked in and asked again about a gluten free menu, host said yes. Sat down and waiter said no gluten free options except toast. Walked out! If you don't want to offer a gluten free menu then don't. But don't confirm that you do twice and then say you don't. I have 2 kids who need to eat gluten free and they were excited about a new place. Very disappointing. read more

Not very good... maybe they were understaffed, but an hour wait with many open tables that went uncleaned for over 20 minutes. The wait wasn't the worst part. Bacon was undercooked, part of it was raw. When asked for Egg Whites - their response was "sorry, we don't have any" Drinks took almost as long as food did, and 2 were in dirty glasses, covered with lipstick. Chicken and waffle was cold immediately when received. Iced Coffee was more cream and sugar with a little bit of coffee (they should ask if you even want cream/sugar in it), I just wanted a cold black coffee. French toast was soggy, cold, no powdered sugar and strawberry (only 1 sliced) was old/rotten. Didn't complain to management as I didn't care about trying to be comped. Overall everyone working there looked beat down that they had to be working. Again, it could be they were severely understaffed, but don't take it out on the customers. This was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in my entire life. 1-1.5 hour wait, which we anticipated and said no worries we expected it, so we got some coffee and waited outside. They seated TONS of people before us, never called us until we saw people who came in after us leaving after sitting down and eating. We had to ask the host multiple times when we could sit, they finally said to just sit at any empty table. Nobody waited on us then after 20 minutes, we asked the bartender if anyone could take our order, ordered to-go so we could get it as quick as possible considering we got there at 10am and it was now 12:30.
