Great lunch spot! You definitely need reservations. You can also check in and will get a text when your table is ready. Very cool restaurant that can only be accessed by an elevator. Woo hoo!!!!! What a stunning restaurant and dining experience. The food is artwork that is to be appreciated and savored with every bite. I have to gush about every dish ordered at our table last night. The bread???? Before our meals showed I could have just eaten that for my meal!!! It was out of this world!!! The butter and bread had this cheese and salt combo that I can't even describe the incredible taste. The appetizers - crabcakes?? Melted in your mouth!! Prawns?? Insane And perfectly prepared! Brussel sprouts, the Mac & cheese, and the salads were nothing short of incredible must trys. The drinks were deliciously made, and portions were huge. Our waitstaff was so friendly & efficient. I want to start out by staying this is my favorite place to eat anywhere in 30a/destin/panama city area. The views by themselves make this place a must when you're visiting. The staff and servers are more than attentive and very knowledgeable. And usually the food is amazing- but this time it wasn't great. The scallops were undercooked and expensive for just 2. I was very excited that paella is back on the menu but was really disappointed in it. The aioli was off putting for me and the mayonnaise seemed to overpower the dish. I would love for them to bring back some of the older dishes like the sticky ribs and old paella. I'm unsure if the chef has changed again but I feel like the food is declining each time I come. The best part of the meal was the complimentary bread with honey butter. I will definitely still come back but I really hope the culinary team addresses some of these issues. read more

I'm going to base this review on the dinner. The brunch was not amazing, but let's focus on dinner. The cocktails were delicious! The server was kind and helpful. I got the chicken and it was a great entree! My husband got the steak and my friend did a sort of make-your-own meal where she added scallops to her dish. We had such an amazing dinner at Pescado, mostly because we got lucky enough to get a table on the outdoor patio (6:45pm on a Monday in August) on the most gorgeous sunset night and it was breathtaking. The restaurant feels very high end, you take an elevator to go up, and it's very well decorated and fitting for the location. I loved it. The food was very good: * ceviche: really good, had to ask for a spoon and more chips though * tuna rolls: if you like raw tuna and Asian sauces, this is a must. I LOVED IT * the mussels came in a shallot creamy sauce with sourdough bread, I personally loved that but there weren't a lot of mussels (good news is they are out of their shells though). Bread was spot on and $1 for extra toasts is reasonable * the Brussels were ok, the stracciatella is a nice touch but something was a miss for me, I've had better * the banana bread pudding was delicious! And I don't even like banana! So good!! The drinks are expensive but $10 a mocktail was reasonable and the rejuvenation was delish (though it took WAY too long to come). They gifted us a glass of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary, a very appreciated gesture. Overall it was a great experience and ended up around $200 for 2 of us (with only one alcoholic drink)- not cheap, but we enjoyed all the items we picked and the view was worth it!! Our waitress was very nice, as well as everybody who worked there. Pro-tip: You can make a reservation online and call if you want it later. We have been here a few times when visiting in the area. I find overall that this place is simply, tired. I can't stand the "we're in high demand" attitude when the place, isn't. You check in at the host desk by the outside elevator..we got there exactly at our reservation time and the host smugly said "I'll try to send you up in a few minutes" HAHA what?! Alright. Please get over yourselves. And wouldn't you know it, we get up there and the place is nearly empty on a weekday. We asked to be sat on the patio, they did not honor this request with multiple tables available. Were sat closely next to the only other 2-person table by the bar. We ordered a lot of food, even the $200 lobster (which was delicious) but I feel the vibe and atmosphere of this place don't warrant the cost. Our waitress was super sweet though. If you're in Rosemary beach area, you'll know there's not many restaurants on the beach or with a view. The entire beach is mostly privately owned homes so it's tough to watch the sunset or even just find a good spot for a drink with a view. Pescado roof top is hands down STUNNING views and about the only one in the downtown area to go. It's pricey for a drink and food and is typically a longer wait to get in, but put your name in asap in the evening or late afternoon and the bar clears out pretty quick. We had spicy margaritas and a mocktail with the cheese board and it was so fantastic and refreshing. Service was quick too! If you are making a reservation, you'll have to do it weeks in advance during peak season at least - so go with the bar if you can! read more

Great spot for dinner and a view! Summer was our server and so pleasant as we had questions about the menu. She helped steer us in the right direction as we weren't sure how small the small plates were. My favorites were the seasonal ceviche, Chesapeake Bay Scallops and the Bourbon Braised pork belly. The chicken fried bobwhite quail was good as well - the sauce that came with it was amazing. Even after finishing the quail, I made sure to finish all of the sauce. We also ordered the whipped potatoes as a side. For dessert, we ordered the bourbon banana bread pudding. As someone who loves banana bread and also bread pudding, I didn't love the combo. It was good, just not for me. Next time I come back to 30A, I'll make sure to get reservations ahead of time so we can get the sunset view. Pescado is a must in Rosemary Beach, Florida! Upon arriving, we were recommended to make a reservation, and we're very glad we did. Reservations for dinner book up quickly, so book well in advance. We visited Pescado for brunch, and everything we had was delicious! Having been our first time, we weren't sure what to order. However, our waiter was very helpful in making recommendations. Ultimately, we ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, the Main Lobster Roll with a side Caesar Salad, and the Fried Mahi Sandwich. The Fried Mahi Sandwich was a stand out followed by the Caesar Salad and Fried Green Tomatoes. I'm not the biggest fan of cold lobster salad so it wasn't my favorite but my husband really enjoyed it. I'll start with the positives: good ambiance, cool rooftop seating and great service. Cons: everything else... the drinks were not good and the food was worse. Everything was highly unbalanced. We ordered the octopus, which was pretty good. The ceviche was terrible. Inedible - fish drowning in straight lime juice. I order ceviche OFTEN, and this was a huge miss for me. They need to add something sweet or creamy to balance the dish. It was way too acidic and very unpleasant, so much so that I returned ny dish after one bite. They were nice and let me order something else... I got the scallops. They were extremely bland, ironically missing any acidity. A tiny bit of lemon could have gone a long way on that dish. I didn't even eat half of it. Not worth wasting the calories. The creme brûlée was good... nothing super special, but luckily that's a tough one to mess up. Overall, I would absolutely not recommend this if you have a decent to good pallet for food. The food is way overpriced and just not very good. The dishes need quite a bit of tweaking to be balanced. read more

Oh wow, I'd be willing to drive 5 hours from NOLA to come back here again for the food. As far as the service goes - our waiter was helpful, but not very friendly. The view of the sunset was delightful. This is now home to my favorite crab cake! The lemon aioli with caviar, pickled apple, and arugula all complimented the crab cake perfectly! We cleaned the entire plate, every part of it was delicious. We then ordered a second starter the Bourbon Braised Duroc Pork Belly which was also phenomenal, perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. The salsa negra, white beans, pickled onions, and chicharron were so tasty, we again cleaned the entire plate. For entrées, we got the Filet served with potatoes and broccolini, all of it was very very good, but I must say the White Bolognese really knocked the whole dinner out of the park for me. SO much flavor packed into this dish. I never leave a restaurant feeling uncomfortably stuffed, but I could not hold my self back from any of these dishes!! This was our first experience Pescado. We went for brunch. The Nashville Chicken and Waffle was amazing. The acid from the pickled pepper accompaniment with the spicy chicken thigh and the sweet waffle was so well balanced. Bloody Mary was good as well. The view is gorgeous. I was very disappointed with the way we were treated by the manager at Pescado Rooftop. We arrived, ordered drinks and food at the bar, and spent time enjoying ourselves while patiently waiting for a table with a view to become available. We understood that popular venues can be busy and were happy to wait our turn. After waiting for quite some time, we were suddenly told there was a waitlist and that the manager could not accommodate us, despite the fact that we had been there all along, actively dining and spending money at the establishment while waiting. It was frustrating to feel completely overlooked after being patient and respectful throughout the evening. What made the situation worse was the manager's attitude, which came across as dismissive and rude rather than helpful or understanding. A simple explanation or acknowledgment of our wait would have gone a long way. The rooftop itself is beautiful, and the food and drinks were enjoyable, but customer service is just as important as the view. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression and took away from what should have been a wonderful evening. I hope management improves communication and treats guests who are patiently waiting with the courtesy and respect they deserve. read more

Overall we had a great experience. We arrived early, without a reservation, hoping for a table to watch the sunset. Unfortunately the wait was almost an hour and by that time the sun had gone down. We requested a table outdoors and the view was amazing. Food was delicious and portions were good. Our server Roxy was great! They also brought out some bread while we waited but it came out about 30 mins after we sat which was odd. Great experience at the upstairs bar area, saw the sun set and felt an amazing breeze the whole night! Staff was super attentive and food, although yes on the pricey side, was fantastic! The steak was cooked perfectly and Mac and cheese was outstanding. And unlike most crab cake actually had lumps of crab in it, however on the small side the waiter accurately described the oz so we knew the price would be high just for a few bite dish. The pork belly bites are absolutely worth it as well as the other dishes depending on what you like. The tuna sushi was a little underwhelming as the inner part is just fried onions but tuna seemed fresh. Starfire cocktail was refreshing and the espresso martini was decent.
