Located inside the Hyatt, this is one of their restaurant options. We decided to check it out while waiting for. target delivery. Food it's pretty simple as you'd expect for a bar. Entree: Big burger single. Very well seasoned, juicy and flavorful. I was shocked. 5/5 Cocktail: Navy pear. This was similar to a martini. I loved the pear flavor. Not to overwhelming but enough to mask the liquor. 4.5/5 Ample seating that overlooks the lobby. Televisions to showcase several sports stations if you need to catch a few highlights. Prices were very reasonable.

This place is a Vibe. I came here one night while enjoying my birthday staycation weekend. I came around 9:00 PM and this place was lit. I found me a table by the window with a nice view. I didn't have to wait look before my server came over to take my order. A bar located inside the Hyatt Hotel. The bar is light and has a liquor tower that is all the way to the ceiling. The view from this place is impeccable. It serves good reasonable cocktails, bar food and good grown up vibes. If your ever downtown and want to enjoy a cocktail and good vibes go visit the Big Bar. Serves is good, good music and good energy.

STRONG drinks and the BEST wings ever!! My Husband and I were staying at the Hyatt Ann's decided last minute that we wanted drinks. It was a busy Friday evening and the bar was lively but not packed. Both of our drinks were fantastic! We are not big drinkers and typically do not get more than one but we indulged a bit this night. Food wise we got the nachos and wings and let me tell you, we were impressed. Bar food is typically EHH but these were amazing! Highly recommend!

This bar is located inside the Hyatt Regency Chicago where I was staying on a trip to Chicago. I decided to have a drink there one evening kill time after exploring the Navy Pier and taking a River Boat tour. The bar is neat and clean but nothing to go out of your way to see. Half of the bar was blocked off for a dentist conference that night. I got to the bar before my group and didn't realize I was sitting in the reserved area at first. Once a very nice dentist started speaking to me about the finer nuances of the Mesial, Distal and Buccal edges of a tooth, I realized my error. I thanked the kind dentist for the interesting information and excused myself as I saw my party entering the bar. When I made my way to the other side of the barrier and to the table where my party was seated, it did take a minute before the waiter made it to our table. It was quite busy that evening, so I was understanding of the situation. I ordered an Anti Hero IPA, which is a beer brewed by a local brewery called Revolution Brewing. The beer itself was hoppy and crisp. Quite bitter with hints of citrus and sweet caramel/butterscotch taste. I thought the beer was great and I ordered another one. In the end, we sat there for about an hour and enjoyed a few drinks. This is not a bad spot to sit and chill, especially if you're staying in the hotel. Otherwise, it's not a bar you need to go out of your way to visit. I'm giving the bar a four star review based on the beer, which was really good.

My friend and I were working Thursday and staying at the hotel. We needed a lunch break and decided to eat here for lunch since they had plugs and very laptop work friendly. We took a lunch break and I ordered the Caesar salad added chicken. Yes it was a very pricey Caesar salad if you add the chicken but it was really good. The chicken wasn't dry and it had good flavors. What was best was the dirty martini! The lady/server was also the bartender and had honestly didn't look like she can make a good martini but I was very surprised how good it was! It also helps to get kettle one as the base but it wasn't too salty! We were happy workers after lunch! Lol.

Great spot a tad out of the way but amazing bar. This is THE spot to come and watch the game. The bartenders know their liquor and can make great cocktails. I wish their food menu was a tad better but the bar is a must see!

The bar locates in the second floor of Hyatt Regency Chicago. The ceiling is high and it was possible to look out over the first floor from there. There were a lot of TV screens and this place may be good for the person who would like to enjoy watching sports games in a group. I ordered sangria because it was on the top of the alcohol list but too sweet for me.

This is the in-lobby bar at the Hyatt in Lakeshore East. The vibe is airport like and it's packed with in-hotel guests. The host does not greet and seat you here; it's a walk-in and grab what's available setting. We went here at 11 in the night on the evening of St Patty's and the servers seemed tired and run-down. The cocktail menu isn't impressive and both the cocktails we ordered were quite sugary. We ended up returning those and drinking vodka soda for the rest of the evening. We were not charged for the returned drinks. The space utilization is not optimal and bar is located against the wall facing the river which blocks the view. This is a convenient spot for in-hotel guests but would not recommend to others.

That said, this place just completely disappointed. The food was just not good. I had the burger sliders and for $9 a piece you expect them to be something special. They were not. Overcooked with a little sauce and two pickles slapped on the bun with a tiny little dab of fake cheese - it was like a bad and way more expensive version of McDonald's. The onion rings were the frozen crumbly kind not the fresh beer battered kind and so that's a big "no!" for me. The dipping sauce was okay. Service was friendly and I think the guy was new but it wasn't good enough for a place like that at the top of the building. There were two servers so I'm guessing one was training maybe. They didn't make it to my table to check to see if everything was okay while I was eating and it even took them a while to notice that I was done eating. It's was slow so I don't think they were stressing with too many tables. That kind of place should knock your socks off - but it was on the low end of mediocre. I wouldn't go there again for food. Maybe it's a decent place to go to the bar but since I don't drink I can't help much on that end.

You simply choose your preferred spirit, flavor profile, and glassware, then let the mixologist create something just for you. It's one of my favorite cocktail experiences in the city, and they've never steered me wrong. What I especially appreciate is how knowledgeable the bartenders are. They're always happy to offer recommendations if you're unsure what to order, but they're equally excited to create something completely unique if you're feeling adventurous. Watching them craft each drink is part of the experience. I've even hosted a birthday gathering here in their private side room, where we enjoyed charcuterie boards alongside our cocktails. If you're just stopping in for drinks, though, I'd recommend grabbing dinner beforehand, as the food offerings are fairly limited. More often than not though, you'll find me sitting right at the bar. I love watching the bartenders showcase their craft and chatting with them about the incredible selection of spirits they have on hand. It's a great spot for anyone who genuinely appreciates well-made cocktails and the artistry behind them. I'm also a member of their loyalty program, which is well worth joining. It can be used at The Berkshire Room as well as several other excellent restaurants, making it an easy way to earn rewards while exploring some great dining spots around the city. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or simply looking for a sophisticated place to unwind, The Berkshire Room consistently delivers. I'll definitely be back for another Dealer's Choice soon! #YelpEliteSquad

Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.
