Come here sometimes after outdoors outing up in Castle Rock State Park that is nearby. They are quick, have good beer on tap and the burgers are yummy. Fried Mozzarella is amazing. And it's pretty chill, they won't kick you out if your pants are caked with mud and leaves after an adventure gone awry.

Kid's Mac & Cheese ($9) - This was fine, my 4 and 6 year olds liked it! Mon Labor Day lunch 2024-09-02

A pretty average place in regards to food, although we did not get any burgers. This spot was on the way home from a camping trip, not crazy pricey, and had a table, so we had lunch here. PARKING Plenty in the parking lot behind the restaurant (shared with other businesses in the area). THE WAIT None on Labor Day at 1pm. We did get the last table for four, and it was in their back area which was a little sad, a covered sidewalk with just a couple tables. None of the vibe, but at least quiet and shaded. THE COST $59.39 total (including tax/tip) for 1 kids entree, 1 side, 1 starter, 1 beer. A light lunch for 2 adults & 2 kids. THE FOOD * Korean Street Tacos ($19) - 3 stars. I found this to be just ok. The tacos were very drippy & messy, the meat too tough, and the toppings uninspiring. For the record, my partner enjoyed this. * Garlic Fries ($8) - 3 stars. Not too oily, and frankly not too garlic-y, til you get to the pool of oil at the bottom. Unlike other garlic fries I've ordered, this one had fresh garlic slices, not minced pieces fried into the oil, so to me the flavor was too subdued.

Portobello sandwich with a beef patty

If you're looking for a typical greasy burger joint, I recommend this spot. I got a portobello sandwich with a beef patty. The sandwich itself was quite good, but I would include a pickle with it to cut through the grease. I asked for the patty to be done medium rare but unfortunately it was served well done. We hoped to sit outdoors but it was plagued with flies. Hopefully they improve their outside seating arrangements! The server while quite attentive, handed out special menus with items that were no longer being served.

If you are looking for a casual setting but great bar food, this is the place - in downtown Saratoga. We had Wagyu beef sliders, teriyaki salmon bowl, Korean street tacos, fries, and steamed pork dumplings - they were all amazing. Service is personal and prompt.

Delicious and Wonderful! Had dinner here with some very dear friends (considered family) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time here. We sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful evening. We ordered the following: French Moo, Peppercorn, Portobello burgers and a steak salad. The person who ordered the French Moo thought it was very tasty and the juicy! He loved it! Said it hit the spot! I ordered the Peppercorn Burger and thought it was delicious! Nice juicy patty with mushrooms and sauce. Tasty! The person who ordered the portobello burger loved it as well! Huge portobello mushroom covered with roasted vegetables! The steak salad looked awesome. My wife said it was super delicious and she would order it again! In fact,, we would all reorder our items again! The service was very nice, always there when you needed them. Please see the pictures and let your eyes feast!

Pretty nice restaurant. Came right after playing beach volleyball and I was starving. The ambience was fine, but coming on a Sunday afternoon I expected it to be more busy. There also seemed to be a slightly strange smell, but it went away after a little while. Also a little drafty in the restaurant, so a sweater would not hurt. The service was par, not bad but also not special. Same with the burgers. A little too well done for my liking, but that really depends on personal opinion. Also pretty saucy but it did the job after volleyball. Overall nice restaurant but not worth going out of the way for.

Living with multiple food allergies can make eating out stressful and, at times, discouraging. Many restaurants try their best, but it's rare to encounter someone who goes as far above and beyond as Jason did. From the very beginning, Jason took my allergies seriously. Rather than treating them as a simple modification request, he took the time to understand my specific concerns and personally communicated with the chef to ensure every precaution was taken. What impressed me most was that he didn't just ask once and move on--he followed up multiple times throughout the process, making sure every item I received was prepared as safely as possible. His level of attention and care gave me confidence that my health and safety truly mattered. Jason's kindness was evident in every interaction. He patiently answered questions, verified ingredients, and double-checked preparation methods. Instead of making me feel like my allergies were an inconvenience, he made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. That level of empathy means more than people without food allergies may realize. The extra precautions taken in the kitchen were remarkable. Jason coordinated with the chef to ensure separate cooking methods were used whenever necessary and that steps were taken to minimize any risk of cross-contact. My food was packaged separately and clearly distinguished from the rest of the order, which immediately showed me how much thought had gone into keeping my meal safe. Even more touching were the notes left on the packaging specifically for me. Those small details demonstrated a level of personal care that is incredibly rare in the restaurant industry. Because of my allergies, my meal options were understandably limited. I ordered a plain burger with sautéed green beans, while my friends enjoyed several different burgers from the menu. Although my meal was simple, it was prepared perfectly. The burger was cooked exactly as requested, allowing the quality of the meat to stand on its own, and the green beans were fresh, tender, and flavorful. Most importantly, I was able to enjoy a restaurant meal with confidence instead of anxiety. My friends thoroughly enjoyed their burgers as well, commenting on the flavor, quality, and preparation. It was wonderful that everyone at the table could have a great dining experience, despite having very different dietary needs. What touched me most from this visit isn't just the food--it's the care. Jason's willingness to communicate with the chef, verify ingredients, package items separately, use special preparation methods, and personally check in throughout the process transformed what could have been a stressful experience into an enjoyable one. For those of us with food allergies, being able to order food safely is something we never take for granted. Jason made that possible. Exceptional customer service is often defined as exceeding expectations, and Jason exceeded mine at every step. His professionalism, compassion, attention to detail, and genuine concern for guest safety are truly commendable. I am incredibly grateful for the effort he put into accommodating my allergies and ensuring I could enjoy a meal without worry. Experiences like this create loyal customers, and Jason is a perfect example of how kindness and care can make a lasting impact.

The cashier was extremely nice, and she was very patient as I took a long time to read their GIANT MENU. They have Thai Iced Tea milkshakes, I have never heard of such a thing, and I will definitely try it next time. This time I got a strawberry shake. It was my first day quitting cigarettes cold turkey after 25 years, so I wasn't about to risk my shake experience with a possible dud. The strawberry shake hit the spot, or as the youngins say "It hits." The burger and fries were delicious too, or as the youngsters say "Mad fire bro." I would pass on the firehouse fries next time, they were not fire, they were lowkey nasty, as the kids say. Check out my photos, you won't be disappointed.
