Seafood is not cheap so if you are going to invest, you want good quality, and that's what you'll find. Quality was good and the price was comparable to other specialty markets. I also got some ripe avocados for $1.19 each, which was way cheaper than Safeway. Aside from fresh seafood and produce, they appeared to carry a good variety of Asian staples. I would have taken a picture of our dinner, but my husband was starving after work, so I had to serve dinner before he got "hangry." My only issue is the parking lot. It gets pretty busy, which is very different from how I remember this area before COVID when I used to work nearby and OSH was still there. Overall, I like this H Mart and will definitely come back. I also heard another H Mart is opening closer to home, which is great news for us! It looks like I'll have even more opportunities to shop for Asian groceries.

There is even a section with pre-marinaded raw meat that you can cook at home for KBBQ! This H Mart is located in the same parking lot as Half Price Books and Marshalls, which are two of my favorite stores, so it's perfect every time I'm in the area to stop by all three places. As such, there is generally plenty of parking, but it can get congested if you insist on parking close to H Mart. I prefer to park farther where there is shade and walk over. Another highlight for my H Mart runs is that there is a Tous Les Jours inside the store, so I can also get my pastry and coffee fix. They are currently doing a pistachio series for summer, and that pistachio cloud latte was delicious. You cannot stop by H Mart and not pick up some of their pre-made meals. They make everything from street food staples such as tteokbokki and fried seaweed rolls to gimbap, dosirak, and fried rice bowls. Trust me, it's all so delicious and such an easy dinner to heat up. Since this H Mart is decently new, the influx of visitors is quite high, and my only gripe from my last visit there was that the women's restrooms ran out of toilet paper. It's the small details that can make or break an establishment, and hopefully the staff will become more vigilant to basic necessities and work out the kinks as time goes on. Either way, I'm just happy there is a new H Mart location in the Tri-Valley and will definitely be back (while we wait for the Sacramento location to open at some point).
