3.5 Stars rounded up. Congrats on your new location, 3 months new now. Quality/Quantity - My wife wanted to check this new location out. If you are following, we have been loyal customers of this brand. Got $130 worth of snacks, foods, etc... Yes, we over did it. Did I say we are loyal customers, lol. And this is one of their smaller locations. Decent size food court/food hall, market eatery. They have a Tous Les Jours in this location. Got more pastries then we should have. Cho Dang - Tofu and BBQ deli, restaurant; BBQ chicken, egg toast kiosk, kyodong noodles, Oh Kdog, etc. Ambiance - Again, a smaller location. The food court is our favorite part at this location. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm. Service - Self service. A free mug for the grand opening event via a mobile app. We did not participate. Free gifts with purchases, etc. Price - Above average, but that is the cost for quality. We spent $130... Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success at this location on 3/26/26 and with your 97+ locations.

Many rice cakes / mochi / tteok options!
    Kev H.

I'd been staring at the racks where they displayed the rice cakes/mochi/tteok every time I went to HMart, and I finally gave in and bought some. I picked up three different varieties. First was the classic and probably the most popular, Chapssaltteok. It's basically a Korean sweet rice cake, similar to Japanese mochi, made with chewy glutinous rice flour and filled with sweet red bean paste. It was really good. From the very first bite, I could immediately tell the difference from Japanese Mochi. Japanese Mochi tends to have a sweeter rice cake, while the rice cake in this Chapssaltteok was slightly salty, which balanced out the sweet red bean paste filling really well. The rice cake itself was super soft and chewy. Very good. I also bought another variety that was very similar, except instead of being dusted with some kind of starch, it was coated with Sesame Oil. They looked super shiny! Both coatings did a great job of keeping the rice cakes from sticking together, and also, they were equally delicious. The third one looked the most interesting, but unfortunately it didn't taste as good as the other two. It was a rice cake with very very thin black sesame layers and coated with a mixture of crushed nuts like peanuts and almond. The texture was a bit tougher than the other two rice cakes, and I think it could've used a little more sweetness. I'd definitely love to try more of their products. They were priced around $10 to $11 per container, a little more expensive than the nearby mom and pop Korean shops in the area.

It's strange what a brand new shopping cart can do for the soul. Anyway, it was so fun for this white girl to take her time perusing the aisles. $3.99 for a California roll! Are you joking? It made me laugh when I was in the frozen foods section picking up some vegetarian spring rolls and I saw Hot Pockets. Okay! The food court is way overpriced. Avoid. All in all, a great addition to Dublin!

I see the hype! Living near this place, seeing the long lines, it peaks my interest! I finally stopped by on a Monday in the middle of the day when I saw it was the least busy! I picked up some premade sushi which was good but the price... even better! Then I checked out their meat sections. SO MANY OPTIONS. Thinly sliced meats for home made KBBQ or hot pot! Meats for stews, pre cut meats for meal preps. List goes on. I ended up coming back later that day for my weekly grocery shopping. The parking lot is decently sized but is shared with other stores in the shopping center. There is also a lot going on in the store in terms of consistent stocking of shelves and produce since it's often busy. I will be back! They have tons of unique products.

I would not recommend the poke. Anyone saying it's comparable to foodland is trippin. I guess for the price you get an okay deal but quality is terrible.

H Mart opened recently in Orchard Supply Hardware's vacated space. Space Meticulously transformed into a mega supermarket and food hall. The aisles are narrow in most areas. Hard to linger & browse. Instant traffic jam. Many H associates are re-stocking adding to the congestion. Some departments are vast like ramyun, snacks, beverages. The soju selection sparse. The usual fresh fish, banchan, noodles, premade fresh & frozen entrees had large selections. Disappointing some popular & sales items weren't re-stocked from morning depletions. Big parking lot. Lots of seating though it seem packed at lunch. Decided to eat lunch before trying to shop. Spend most of the time scouting what was where. Noticed H mart stands are set up near exit where shoppers can spin to get a free gift if they purchased $30+ Buys: makgeolli chestnut (soju) 4.99 -didn't see the usual soju brands. This has hint of chestnut from paste. Sweet note from fructose so won't buy again. Spicy homemade topokki (rice cake 3.99) -had a freshly made spicy rice cake. Comparing these. 4 stars: too crowded for my comfort. Food Hall vendors: Tous Les Jours, bbq. Chicken, OK k dog, Deaho Kablijim, Chodong Tofu & BBQ, Kyodong Noodles. I came to grab some ready to eat foods to go. It was discounted. Got some fried rice and tofu. Service is fine. I came just in time before the grocery section is closed. Food court was already closed.

I loved going to H Mart when in San Jose. So glad they finally opened one closer to me. Even more convenient that they're open til 10pm. Came around 830pm. No line to get in and no craziness thru the aisles. Fully stocked and specials left and right. Fresh produce. Large variety of items. Everything organized. Helpful staff. Only thing is that it's located in a busy plaza.

This is the newest H Matt in the city of Dublin . It is locals on Dublin blvd next to Marshall and Ross stores . I visited this store in their San Jose and Cupertino locations before . The Dublin store is smaller so it is packed with merchandise and the isles are smaller . Since this is the only Korean supermarket in the Trivalley . It was very popular and crowded. The whole parking lot was full . During their grand opening, they are giving away different gifts depends your total $ amount of purchase . I like H mart for their cleanliness and good quality of meats and seafood . It has more selection of items too compare to other Asian markets . Therefore, their prices are slightly higher. But I think it is totally worth it .

Place is still packed with shoppers There were isles of goodies from sashimi, meats, veggies to cooked items all very fresh. Love the addition to east bay Free gifts are still available Definitely a place for fresh goods to table goods

A little over two weeks after grand opening the chaos continues. Lines stretched passed Ross next door, but the wait was no longer than 10 minutes. Free gifts upon exiting based on your receipt's total. Navigating down the aisles was a challenge especially with a cart. It was a grab and go kind of ordeal. Re-entering a second time without carts was a must as we missed plenty of items on our shopping list. Probably the smallest H-mart in comparison to other locations I've visited. However, happy to finally have one in the East Bay and hoping for more locations in the future. Stay clear until the hype has subsided. You've been warned!

I love H Mart and I love H Mart even more when they're branching out of San Jose because I need one closer and finally their Dublin location has opened. First off, it's packed. I don't know why they chose the plaza that they did, but there's also a Ross and a Marshall's there so it gets packed between the grocery shoppers and the retail shoppers. It's still newly opened in the area with grand opening specials so be prepared to spend a good amount of time trying to find parking and then a few more minutes on top of that waiting to get inside the store. Inside the store is even more hectic than the parking lot because everyone has a cart and they're trying to make their way through the aisles, but you got people who stop and stare without pulling their carts to the side. So... practice patience, I guess, is the story here. Overall, I did brace the line a few times since they've opened. I appreciate the deals they have and the fresh food section in both the market and the food court. I would give it a few more weeks for the hype to die down though if waiting isn't your cup of tea.

I was so excited to visit the infamous H Mart. As expected, there was a line to get in because it's brand new. It took about 10 mins to get it. I loved exploring the grocery store and seeing what they had to offer. But it was hard to push my cart through because of the narrow aisles and the amount of people shopping. I totally think I would've had a better shopping experience had I not brought my three little kids. This store literally has it all though! From fresh produce to proteins you wouldn't normally see in other groceries stores. They have a whole section dedicated to kimchi! I was in love. They even have an little food hall attached with hot food. Overall, I like the store but will go back when the hype around the grand opening simmers down.
