Cho Dang - Tofu and BBQ deli, restaurant; BBQ chicken, egg toast kiosk, kyodong noodles, Oh Kdog, etc. Ambiance - Again, a smaller location. The food court is our favorite part at this location. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm. Service - Self service. A free mug for the grand opening event via a mobile app. We did not participate. Free gifts with purchases, etc. Price - Above average, but that is the cost for quality. We spent $130... I've visited this H Mart in Dublin three times since it opened, and unfortunately, it will be my last. While the store itself is modern, clean, and well-stocked with a huge variety of Asian groceries, prepared foods, and fresh items, the actual quality and service have been consistently disappointing for me.First visit (about 3 weeks after opening): The store looked great and had tons of appealing products. I picked up sushi-grade sashimi and very thinly sliced Wagyu beef. The sashimi was poor quality -- not fresh tasting at all. The Wagyu was okay but definitely not worth the premium price. I also noticed several shelf-stocking employees being noticeably rude.Second visit (about 6 weeks later): Lines had improved. I tried some of the hot/warm prepared foods to take home. They were mediocre at best -- nothing I'd go out of my way for again.Third visit (today): Bought more prepared items for a light lunch. In my opinion, they were not edible. Same rude staff behavior again.Summary: The physical store is impressive with excellent selection and layout. However, the fresh/prepared food quality has been a big letdown every time, especially for the prices, and the customer service from employees has felt unfriendly on each visit. For a new store, these are issues that really stand out. If you're mainly going for packaged groceries, snacks, or specific Asian ingredients, it might still be worth a trip. Poor location, poor store layout, and poor customer service. Little to no parking at this area, I don't think they thought it through how many people would be coming to shop here. Store is extremely crowded and shelving close together with not enough room to pass others standing in the same aisle. Poor service, employees all throughout the store but unwilling to help find items and will rush past you like they are constantly busy. Premade takeout food is rarely ever stocked and always sold out of many things. Another issue: our first time shopping here we bought a hotpot gift kit and didn't realize the bagger did not place the item in our cart until after we got home (we live an hour away). Tried to come back the next day and they refused to refund, replace, or even compensate our purchase even while showing the gift receipt. Management refused to look at camera footage they had in store but basically said there is nothing they could do. Hmart, do better. read more

I see the hype! Living near this place, seeing the long lines, it peaks my interest! I finally stopped by on a Monday in the middle of the day when I saw it was the least busy! I picked up some premade sushi which was good but the price... even better! Then I checked out their meat sections. SO MANY OPTIONS. Thinly sliced meats for home made KBBQ or hot pot! Meats for stews, pre cut meats for meal preps. List goes on. I ended up coming back later that day for my weekly grocery shopping. The parking lot is decently sized but is shared with other stores in the shopping center. Having just come back from our trip in Korea I wanted to finally visit this location that opened a few months ago and is relatively closer to me compared to the other HMart locations. They carry the coffee, peach ice tea, and pomegranate juice pouches and even the cups with ice like in CU in Korea. Lots of variety of Korean foods and asian products that are available. They even have pre-marinated meats that you can bbq at home. Lots of items from Korea! Too many to mention. read more

After shoe shopping for the wife, we spotted an H Mart in the same plaza and swung inside. The second you enter, the rich, sweet aroma from the two roasted sweet potato cookers stationed at the entrance completely hits you. My wife didn't hesitate, she got right in line and walked away with two steaming hot ones. The produce section was a highlight, loaded with fresh, crisp vegetables. On our way out past the cashiers, we noticed the row of mini restaurants lined up on the far side of the building. We missed out on a full meal this round, but those food stalls are the exact reason we will be coming back. read more

H Mart opened recently in Orchard Supply Hardware's vacated space. Space Meticulously transformed into a mega supermarket and food hall. The aisles are narrow in most areas. Hard to linger & browse. Instant traffic jam. Many H associates are re-stocking adding to the congestion. Some departments are vast like ramyun, snacks, beverages. The soju selection sparse. The usual fresh fish, banchan, noodles, premade fresh & frozen entrees had large selections. Disappointing some popular & sales items weren't re-stocked from morning depletions. Big parking lot. Lots of seating though it seem packed at lunch. Decided to eat lunch before trying to shop. Spend most of the time scouting what was where. Noticed H mart stands are set up near exit where shoppers can spin to get a free gift if they purchased $30+ Buys: makgeolli chestnut (soju) 4.99 -didn't see the usual soju brands. This has hint of chestnut from paste. Sweet note from fructose so won't buy again. Spicy homemade topokki (rice cake 3.99) -had a freshly made spicy rice cake. Came here as our lunch+grocery stop on the way back from Great Wolf lodge on a Sunday. Managed to get a parking spot, but once we were inside it felt more busy. Not so busy that we couldn't move, but it was tricky with a stroller. The aisles are tight and so the food court. The only one located in the dublin/livermore area and this place is packed! This place is on a smaller side so it can get very claustrophobic when going down the aisle. They have your typical asian goods like fresh meat, marinated meats and veggies, and also fresh seafood. The price is very comparable to the asian markets in the area, a bit on a pricey side. There are always workers stacking their shelves and making sure it never ran out of products. I found my HK spam and my SVT tteokboki here so that made my day. They carry the viral fruit and meat (looking) ice creams, so you can take your pick on trying them. They also have a mini food court here (aside from their hot food to-go) to try the korean food they offer. Parking here can be a bit of a fight as the lot space is tight and it can get packed throught out the day. I like parking a bit further down, so I don't get stuck getting out of the plaza with the slew of people coming and going, checking out is quick as they have a lot of registers open to help you out. Yay! Finally. Been waiting long enough. Place is nice. The issue is with crowds, navigating inside the store and even the parking lot is tough. I parked on the other side like towards the bookstore. Inside the store, the people and carts are difficult to navigate, even when I wasn't using a cart myself. But hey, that's not the store's fault. Set aside a lot of time, this will not be a 5 minute quick trip. The attitude of the customers and tight space makes me feel like I'm really in Asia! I mean, if you go to Chinatown in San Francisco, or many places in Asia, personal space and customer service are treated very differently so it kind of feels authentic in a way, lol I was born in California but spent a total of more than 2 years of my life in Indonesia, like 2-6 weeks once a year growing up. I remember getting pushed around in big crowds in Chinatown San Francisco as a kid, and when I first got to Japan a few years ago I got freaked out because someone in line was like an inch away from the back of my neck. So if you are not used to that or expecting it, you will hate it here. Anyway, I digress. I believe it will get better (less crowded) as time goes on. So basically be ready for the crowd, set aside a lot of time, don't go in looking for that American customer service experience or personal space, and be willing to park far away; then you should be fine. read more

This is the newest H Matt in the city of Dublin . It is locals on Dublin blvd next to Marshall and Ross stores . I visited this store in their San Jose and Cupertino locations before . The Dublin store is smaller so it is packed with merchandise and the isles are smaller . Since this is the only Korean supermarket in the Trivalley . It was very popular and crowded. The whole parking lot was full . During their grand opening, they are giving away different gifts depends your total $ amount of purchase . I like H mart for their cleanliness and good quality of meats and seafood . It has more selection of items too compare to other Asian markets . Therefore, their prices are slightly higher. A little over two weeks after grand opening the chaos continues. Lines stretched passed Ross next door, but the wait was no longer than 10 minutes. Free gifts upon exiting based on your receipt's total. Navigating down the aisles was a challenge especially with a cart. It was a grab and go kind of ordeal. Re-entering a second time without carts was a must as we missed plenty of items on our shopping list. Probably the smallest H-mart in comparison to other locations I've visited. However, happy to finally have one in the East Bay and hoping for more locations in the future. Stay clear until the hype has subsided. You've been warned! read more

I gave it 4 stars for a few reasons. First of all, it is big and beautiful. I really love the variety of fresh vegetables. However, they always seem to run out of herbs. Unfortunately, because they are always super busy. I have to go a little bit more towards the evening in order for it to not be so overwhelmingly swimming with people. But when I go at that time, which is light closer to 7:30 to 8 PM I noticed that things are out of stock. They do have a huge variety of foods to choose from. For that reason, I give them the 4 stars. Their prepackaged food, is pretty good... I do recommend giving them a visit. However, I would wait until they calm down in terms of so many people. read more

I love H Mart and I love H Mart even more when they're branching out of San Jose because I need one closer and finally their Dublin location has opened. First off, it's packed. I don't know why they chose the plaza that they did, but there's also a Ross and a Marshall's there so it gets packed between the grocery shoppers and the retail shoppers. It's still newly opened in the area with grand opening specials so be prepared to spend a good amount of time trying to find parking and then a few more minutes on top of that waiting to get inside the store. Inside the store is even more hectic than the parking lot because everyone has a cart and they're trying to make their way through the aisles, but you got people who stop and stare without pulling their carts to the side. So... practice patience, I guess, is the story here. Overall, I did brace the line a few times since they've opened. I appreciate the deals they have and the fresh food section in both the market and the food court. I would give it a few more weeks for the hype to die down though if waiting isn't your cup of tea. read more

Wanted to check out this new grocery store to see what all the hype is about. There were lots of cars in the parking lot but there were still many spots available on this Thursday. Upon entering, I couldn't help but notice all the lovely vegetables and in large quantities too, all displayed beautifully. We made ourselves to the fresh seafood area where we found all kinds of seafood, and many alive in tanks. I was especially curious about the enormous, and I mean enormous, king crabs each in their own tanks. They were also selling clams, little red abalones, prawns, and all kinds of fish. This area was popular! The store sells many varieties of whatever you may be looking for. Not just a few items and brands but lots of everything. Whether it be sauces, frozen dumplings, rice, instant noodles, snacks... they carry lots and neatly displayed. When they have their boxes out to restock, it gets very cramped in the aisles when people are trying to shop or walk by so I imagine it can get pretty challenging on the weekends. They also offer pre-packaged take away foods like dumplings, kimbap, sushi rolls and sashimi. In the back there is a food court with six places you can order food as well as a Tours de Jours. They had my favorite yuzu bars here and they were fresh and flaky like usual. Delicious! Nice, clean, comfortable seating available inside and out. We had just come from eating lunch so we didn't try any of the meals this time. Our first impressions of this store were very positive. We will definitely return. read more

Have been waiting and waiting for Hmart - I'm glad it's here now but I think it'll be more of an occasional place to visit for fun than a staple grocery store to visit. I went around 11am on a Tuesday trying to avoid the parking woes and crowds I'd heard tell about but unfortunately there were still a ton of people. I did find parking right away but the lot was full, and there was definitely lots of waiting and squeezing by others in the store (which is packed and the aisles are a little small for the traffic). I found HMart to be bright and clean with a large variety and quantity of items available. Everything was well stocked (although employees were also actively restocking and pushing boxes around at the time which I understand is their job but didn't help with the congestion). Something that both overwhelmed and impressed me was a whole aisle packed with ramen, bulk ramen, and cup ramen. The banchan selection is plentiful although pricier than I'd hoped (~10 a box). In general everything was kind of expensive, similar to Safeway prices when not on sale. One thing that did seem like a good deal was the sashimi and prepared sushi rolls, which were as little as ~$5 (with size according). There's a Tous les Jours bakery and food court (with inside and outside seating) on the side with standout chains like bb.q Chicken and Daeho for your pre or post shopping cravings. Please check your receipt before you leave the cashier rung me up for a $25 Bok choy box that I didn't even buy. This was at 9am when it wasn't very busy and chaotic yet and they still managed to get it wrong! ! Imagine when it's busier and hectic. My bad for not checking before I left. Way too crowded and the aisles are way too narrow. I had to stand in line just to get in l lol and the lady in front of me picked a fight with the family in front of her because they don't see the end of the line was actually way back there. The line had to cut to give patrons a break to go inside of Ross. People steering their carts and going jn random directions against the flow of traffic. Their produce section is decent, but hard to pick because there's just humans everywhere. They have a great fish section but again pretty impossible to order. The meats are mostly marinated or sliced variety. They had some samples which were nice but again hard to grab because of people everywhere. I do appreciate the banchan section, the prepared food section was smaller. You're better off supporting Sodam down the street and supporting a smaller business. I'll attempt to go again when the hype dies down but I'm not down to stand in a long line again just to get into a cesspool of humans inside. read more

I was so excited to visit the infamous H Mart. As expected, there was a line to get in because it's brand new. It took about 10 mins to get it. I loved exploring the grocery store and seeing what they had to offer. But it was hard to push my cart through because of the narrow aisles and the amount of people shopping. I totally think I would've had a better shopping experience had I not brought my three little kids. This store literally has it all though! From fresh produce to proteins you wouldn't normally see in other groceries stores. They have a whole section dedicated to kimchi! I was in love. They even have an little food hall attached with hot food. Overall, I like the store but will go back when the hype around the grand opening simmers down. read more

H Mart is the largest Asian supermarket chain in America. After a long two-year wait, their newest location in Dublin finally opened on 03/26/2026. It was reported that about 10,000 people visited the store on the first day of their operation. Succumbing to the hype, my family and I checked them out on 03/28/2026. We got here around 4:30pm and there was a line of about 100 people waiting to get in. Fortunately, it moved fast, and we were inside within 10 minutes. The store was decent sized, but the aisles were a bit tight. Because of the huge crowd, it was very difficult to maneuver, and I didn't get a chance to explore extensively. Out of all the areas I was able to squeeze into, several stood out. The seafood section featured a wide array of fresh and frozen items, including all kinds of fish, live king crabs and spotted prawns, shellfish, etc. The sushi section had a nice selection of rolls and sashimi platters. The banchan/marinated meat section carried a lot of stuff that makes preparing KBBQ at home an absolute breeze. Prices were mostly reasonable. The food court, located next to the checkout area, had a lot of nice options. Most eateries, if not all, were operational. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to investigate further because we were eager to get out. All in all, H Mart is a welcome addition to East Bay shoppers like me. At long last - the long awaited HMart in Dublin, CA is finally open!!!! Since first announced in Oct 2021 - it has been a long time coming for the opening of this HMart... and this HMart did not disappoint. Despite still in the grand opening hype and full of people, they did such a great job in crowd controlling and moving the cashier line fast inside. The selection and variety is vast and of high quality. Prices are good, and the discounts and Manager's Specials are even better (think marinated galbi at only $10.99 per lb).... everything is much better than Tokyo Central that recently opened in Emeryville. Grand opening specials include discounted items throughout the store, free tote and more with $30 or more purchase, free folding fabric tote and chopsticks when you sign up & follow their social media... etc. Very cool. I was expecting a long line to get in or check out -- nope, they love you in and out fast. Excellent crowd control. Yes there's still a lot of people inside, and getting around could be difficult if you have a cart, but overall it was a great experience checking out their grand opening!!! I came here on a early weekend morning to grab some groceries. I have also driven by here during the first couple weeks of grand opening but the parking lot was overwhelming full so I didn't try to park or go inside. When I came super early on a Saturday morning, parking was easy and I was able to go in and grab what I needed. This lay out reminds me of other HMart layouts. I do feel like the aisles are little tight and the store feels more narrow and small compared to other grocery stores. They definitely have all your Korean grocery needs like kimchi and other goods. I was able to purchase my kimchi and korean soy bean paste easily - definitely lots of options here. Check out process was easy but I feel like there's limited check out lanes and everything just feels very narrow to me. I feel like parking can be limited here if it is a busy day. I have seen people overflow to other parts of the parking lot. I am glad there's a H Mart nearby now, but not sure how often I'll make it here if it is busy. read more

I came midday, midweek and all I could think of was how hard parking would be on the weekend. I had to find parking and it took about 10 minutes. Walked in through the outside seating area - very nice! Would be perfect, esp during the nicer weather. Food Area: So much to choose from and the food looked great! It was BUSTLING so the outside seating will def come in handy. Aisles: There is so much to see, choose from and great variation. Same for the refrigerators/freezers. I wanted to pick up some items but the sheer amount of people in the store was enough to deter me from the check out lines. I felt I had to duck and dodge people and carts throughout the store. I know they just opened so that was probably the reason it was so chaotic in there but when I stepped outside, it was enough to take a sigh of relief. I'll def come back anther time to actually try to shop but so close to Grand Opening was not the time for me to try to browse and take my time in the store. read more

The wait is finally over! I arrived at the grand opening 15 mins after they opened and the line wrapped around 3 sides of the unit so I ended up basically behind Michael's. The line took about two hours to get through but moved pretty consistently. I appreciated that they had employees passing out bottles of water and snacks too for those waiting in line. There was really good organization outside and inside. The shopping carts stop at a certain distance in the parking lot so an H Mart attendant needs to scan it if you parked closer to Half Price Books. Inside, we were funneled to the produce section. There were a lot of organic options and a huge variety of fresh fruit, veggies, mushrooms, etc. They had free samples inside of pork dumplings, japchae, and other food. When I got to the premade food section, it was close to the checkout line. I grabbed some items to go but plan to come back when it's less busy to dine in at the food court which includes Tous Les Jours and BBQ Chicken. You can sign up in person or through their app for the free membership. They're also giving out free items if you spend a certain amount, follow them on social media, and/or have a membership card. I came in on Monday morning around 9am. It was already filled with shoppers. Produces was fresh. Large variety of meat and seafood selection, as well as frozen food. They offer hot delis, sashimi, ready to eat soup and kimchi. A food court inside opens at 11am, mainly serving Korean food. The aisles inside feel so tight. Interior was bright and clean. I finally remembered to write a review of this place. I came the second day that the store was open during Grand Opening week. Thankfully I didn't wait too long to get into the store. But it was sure crowded inside as expected on a Friday morning. I returned the following week on a Saturday night, there was no line at the door probably because it was almost closing. I return the next day to claim my prize as the prize booth was closed when I finished shopping for the night. There was a huge line all the way to the entrance of the Marshall store on Sunday afternoon waiting to get in H Mart. I am so thankful I was only there to claim my prize from my shopping trip from Saturday. If you spent over $200, you get a box of ramen and some prices. My first trip I got a box of ramen and three kitchen wash gloves. My second trip, I spent another $200 and got another box of ramen and a shopping bag with plastic food gloves, pack of one time use chopsticks, and a plastic tray. I love how the store is very clean and the prices are reasonable. I bought a variety of items from tofu to vegetables, frozen dumpling and shrimp fried rice, and ready to eat sushi rolls. I am so happy that I don't have to drive to SF or SJ to go to H Mart anymore, I can come to Dublin which is so much closer to me. Yay!!! It has been a long wait, but H Mart is officially opened! Visited on opening day, and another time this week. First day the line was super long, and there is always a potential for chaos on opening day, but the team did a really good job staying organized. Inside the market, items were well stocked, and signs are up for what is in each aisle. Quite a good amount of freezer/refrigerated items. Lots of Korean specialized snacks, drinks, sauces, and everything yummy, but they also have other Asian foods available too. Check out the back fridges of meat and sushi/sashimi platters, and seafood counter. Other highlights are fresh produce with great prices, a cooked food section at the back of the store with tons of yummy already made dishes including lunch boxes, kimbap, mackerel, rice cakes, japchae, and more, and lots of banchan (Korean side dishes) to choose from. Next to this area is a wonderful counter to order Korean bbq meats already marinated. We bought kalbi and it was delicious! The aisles are a bit narrow. Workers are super friendly and helpful, but they are still stocking the aisles and trying to get everything out to the floor, and with everyone wanting to visit, it is pretty crowded inside. There is also a food court with outdoor/indoor seating, and a good amount of restaurants to try from. The food court does have a separate entrance on the far left side of the whole mall. Parking can also be limited but it depends on the time of the day. So happy they are open, will come by often! They are off to a great start! read more

H Mart's first East Bay location has arrived in Dublin, and the lines out the door during its grand opening attest to just how hotly anticipated this Korean market is! While the grocery selection was comparable to that of other H Mart locations, the food court here was a real highlight, featuring 6 eateries ranging from a Korean bakery to Korean fried chicken. My selection from Cho Dang Tofu & BBQ was the Spicy Cold Noodle, a bowl of thin, chewy buckwheat noodles in a spicy sauce, topped with sliced Korean pear, radish, cucumber, beef, and a boiled egg, and served with vinegar and mustard on the side. The tray also came with a selection of banchan including kimchi, bean sprouts, spicy cucumber, and fish cake, making for a complete meal! From Kyodong Noodles, I tried the Jjanppong Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, which came with chewy wheat noodles in a spicy broth topped with mixed seafood including shrimp, squid, and mussels, along with onions, zucchini, carrots, and woodear mushrooms. Finally, the most photogenic dish I got was the Classic Egg Toast from Oh K-Dog. This sandwich was made with an oversized buttered slice of milk bread toast, sliced in the middle and filled with scrambled egg, sweet chili sauce, and cheese garlic sauce on top. The entire creation was made to be eaten by the eyes--the sandwich itself was saucy and decadent, though nothing too outstanding culinarily speaking. Overall, the selection at the food court was solid (though the prices were a little steep), and I especially liked the outdoor seating area, which included small toddler tables shaded with umbrellas. read more

This brand new Korean market is busy. It was so busy it was as if going to Costco on a busy weekend bumping into people trying to maneuver around shopping carts. But if you want some of the grand opening specials.. hot pot, mangoes, fresh coconuts, etc. They have marinated meats, ready to make hot pot items, fresh sushi, banchan, pre made foods and a food court attached on the side. By the time we were leaving the food court was closing and not taking any new orders. We will be back to buy some fresh sushi and hot pot items. read more

Grocery store is cool, but nothing special. -Food Court: this is where this location shines. -Oh K-Dog and Egg Toast: hell yeah, a must go to. Ham and cheese egg toast, woooW...delicious. Look yummy and live up to the visual expectations. Every bite was, savory and sweetish, kind of, what ever mayo spread they use, i want in.... -Kid approved their K-cheese dog. H- Mart, Dublin The wait for this H- Mart location to open finally happened after so many years! This location opened on March 26, 2026. The Pro's: this is much closer to me since I live in the East Bay, I don't have to go to San Jose for my H- Mart needs. The staffs are friendly and this location seems very organized since it is still the first week of the grand opening. There were samples! There's so much fresh prepared food! So far it's very well organized! The Con's: Parking is tough and gotta be patient cause it's super crowded. Also, very crowded inside! I didn't get to look around all aisles since it was so crowded inside, barely had room to walk through. I would definitely come back later when it isn't so busy! read more

Review #1,028 Posted on 3.31.26 We came to the new H Mart on Saturday the 28th, only day 3 of it being opened. It was nuts inside here. Had to wait in a line to get in. H Mart is basically a cleaner, bigger, & way more variety of items to get than other Asian grocery stores. They've got huge produce section, huge meat/seafood area/selection, endless snacks, & a very big food court. The seafood area is so impressive, they've got tons of fish, lobster, etc in the tanks, like you see at the restaurants, not like just in display glass at a regular grocery store. This place is heaven for foodies. The pricing for most items are also very reasonable too. This spot is very close to the 580/680 freeway crossings. It's in a strip mall with Ross, & a few other stores, I'm sure those stores are happy they're about to get more potential business now. Come and check out H Mart if you haven't yet. You'll for sure leave with more than you came for. read more

The long awaited store finally opened. Granted I probably should have waited until the hype dies down. But I was so excited. There was no line when I arrived I think I was lucky. Because by the time my friend arrived she said there was a line again! Ready made meals look interesting. Sushi are reasonably priced. The Korean ready made meals are expensive. To me they look like they're sit down meal prices. So I didn't get anything but tteokbokki. LOTS of sliced meats and marinated meats. The options are pretty insane. The carts are still new and drives really nice hehe The food court I don't think open until a little later . TLJ is busy because they're obviously open. The others I see workers but not behind the cashiers so idk. The food court pricing is interesting. I see dishes listed in the high $20s and 30s. For a food court I was surprised. The aisles are tiny. I mean tiny. Barely fits 2 carts side by side. Still lots of freebies available as of 2nd day of opening. They are very organized. Kudos to the management and workers. But still very crowded and claustrophobic for me. I'll wait awhile before I return. I am so glad this place opened. read more

I'd been excited to check this place out, especially to try the grilled sweet potato. Even a week after opening, there was still a line, but it moved quickly. Inside felt a bit crowded, though. Right at the entrance, there is a grill station where items are pre-packed and sold by the pound, which I thought was pretty convenient. What really stood out was the variety, they carry a huge selection of seafood, fresh produce (including some exotic fruits), specialty ice creams, noodles, a wide range of teas and coffees, frozen foods, and baked goods. Overall, it is a great spot if you're looking to explore Korean foods all in one place. read more
