We had to evict our tenant. The unlawful detainer did not turn in the key as he promised to. Because of that, we had to call Big Bear Lock and Key multiple times to change the appointment time. They were so nice. On the day when we drove to Big Bear from LA, we were there about 1 hours earlier and they told us to call as soon as we got there. So we did. Dishonest Business Practices and Incompetent! Unable to open truck bed cover due to being stuck in the locked position. Tech arrives and was unable to open bed cover after approximately 5 mins. I was able to get the bed cover to unlock in less than a minute. Tech was unable to repair lock due to not having the parts. Tech was onsite at friends home for less than 10 mins., and before leaving advised me he "was not charging me for his services" and drove away. Approximately 10 mins. after leaving the tech calls me back to advise me he's now charging me $95. I at first refuse to pay. Tech's manager then calls me and demands to be paid, threatening to block future service to the residence I was staying at. Due to his threat and being the only lock & key shop in the area I paid! DISHONESTY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Technicians being dispatched to make repairs to broken locks and not having the proper parts to do so is "INCOMPETENTCY!"
