I had an amazing experience. The weather was excellent in December. There was snow and it was cold, but not too cold. The cabin was well heated, and you could use the fireplace if you wanted to do so. It was extra clean with new appliances. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. It was an excellent romantic getaway. It did have an extra room with a queen size bed, and a double bed( bunk bed style). The master suite had the bathroom. I enjoyed the design of the cabin. It was very modernized, but rustic at the same time. It's in a very good location. It was close to everything to include the ski slopes, shopping hiking, an adult entertainment, such as the bars and restaurants. The cabin would be great for just four people. I would say if it was a couple, the other two should be kids because you're sharing a restroom. Again, excellent romantic getaway for two. We use the extra room to store our luggage and all the new shopping stuff we bought. I forgot to add the bathroom is a stone attraction very nice. Also there is your own personal Jacuzzi right out your back door. It's private and quiet. The most important thing about my stay, was my reception and my checkout. The entire team was accommodating and informative. I always had someone to talk to no matter how late or how early. My accommodations came with a main guest house that had even more information about the surrounding area. The procedures here was very simple. You just have to clean up what you mess up and dispose of your trash. You will receive check-in and checkout instructions that are simple. Not a single thing I posted in my review was untrue, exaggerated, or even colored a little bit. I will say Jennifer your inspector is excellent. There is a lot going on at your business, cover-ups, lies and ineptitude all at the hands of a manager who feels doing the requirements of her job are beneath her. If my floor was set at $500 why was it renting for $340 repeatedly? That's worth a one star. If someone comes to a pet free home with an animal and it's noted at the front desk why aren't they moved to a different home? If said animal leaves damage and urinates on carpet, why isn't that remediated immediately? Lastly, why was I fired as a client for asking why these things were happening over and over again. I still have no idea where I stand with your company. I still have bookings booked but was told those would be canceled. Can I use my home or not? Please review email correspondence between NG and I. It's all there. If you can't access them, I'll be happy to furnish them to you. Your company's complacency and ineptitude has cost me an entire rental season of at least $40,000. read more

it was a good experience overall the house was nice, but I would say the guy own the place the leave the day we was leaving he swe outside the cabin the whole morning and watch us until we left . He pulled in and went inside with set in a dark tender windows car . You can't even see him. That was the scariest experience I ever experienced. read more

Customer service was great, the cabin we had was in a super cute location on the lake, but it was in serious need of a deep cleaning, lots of dust, cob webs, mildew. The bed mattresses were so unbelievably uncomfortable they were so old it was like sleeping on wire. With a little tlc and some minor updates it would have been a much better experience staying there. read more

The incident happened between February 20, 2025 - February 21, 2025. Before checking in at around 3:45pm, I asked for the check in information of the address and the rental property information. Since the company always stated company will give more information at check in time which is 4:00pm. Received email past check in time so I decided to take my son and daughter to the park thinking the company probably was late of giving information because the company wanted to be sure everything is all set upon checking in. Night of checking in, I already saw a dirty hot tub with stagnant water. I realized they explained that the tub is no longer included in the rental property. But is it safe to leave the dirty, old tub in the property? Isn't it a health Hazzard? I will provide photos I took. Now entering the house, it was a disaster the house was very dirty. Like it wasn't taken care of for years, and was just very misleading with the photos from the rental site to the actual house. I did not even let my 2 year old son and my 5 year old daughter touch anything at the house. The main floor was not cleaned and left like no one will rent the property. All cables from TV, DVD, wifi and all old appliances was just plugged in a table without considering Hazzard for children. Wifi not working. Dirty plate left in the sinc. All bedroom with marked stains on carpets. Broken chair, Old beddings. 2nd floor door don't open. I asked for help for the door and wifi, but the longer we stay the more health Hazzard I see especially for my children. I have tried to ask if we can move to a different rental that night but was ignored and just told me that someone will be coming to fix the wifi and door. We left the property to buy disinfectant prays and wipes so that I can clean as much as I can for the safety of my kids. When maintenance came, he even told us that the tub was not supposed to be there if it wasn't in the rental amenities because he believe that it was not used for over a year and that dirty stagnant water isn't just safe for people. It was so tiring that we did not get to enjoy anything. And worried about my son's asthma because of the dusts of the house. I did not even let my kids use the rentals blanket or bedding and just put their own blanket on top of the bed just so they can sleep. My son used his albuterol nebulizer every 4 hours instead of as needed basis because he kept coughing due to the house being dusty and dirty. February 21, 2025 this was the worst day of my life. When I woke up, I again tried to clean the house while my son and daughter was sleeping. And what I found inside kitchen cabinets was just disgusting. Utensils used, dirty and not washed! And all inside the kitchen cabinet. Stains of I do not know what inside kitchen cabinets. Then when I checked my children if they are awake, I found my daughter holding a USED condom. I have no time frame of how long have they've been curious about the condom but my daughter stated it smelled okay! And that made my heart drop because they touch the semen inside the condom and smelled it! It was on their bed! Me and my husband works in a health care field so we know what kind of disease our son and daughter is at risk. Having to think what can happen is emotionally distressing. Why do we have to experience this before the company decides that we can move to a different rental house. Why does it need to be this severe before moving us. Why does my children need to be exposed and be at risks to having a sexually transmitted diseases. This is too much and we will file for more complaints. Our pediatrician is already aware of the incident and because of this, she ordered tests for my son and daughter for stds, hiv, and other sexual transmitted diseases. But due to some tests needed to have wait time because the test can usually identify the infection within certain time frame. (9-12weeks after exposure) We have to wait! This health risks and emotional stress is all because of the company! And we will not stay silent. read more

This management company was nothing but problems from the start! TO THOSE THINKING ABOUT USING THEM FOR MGMT SERVICES: I enlisted them to represent my cabin, which is one of the most beautiful in Big Bear Lake--designed by a leading interior designer from Newport Beach--and thankfully I was one of the cabin owners who would look at my monthly statements. I started noticing charges for things that weren't done--like cleanings (I knew they weren't done because on my Ring I would notice a cleaning crew of two people go into my cabin and exit 5 minutes later and never return!) I'd be charged ~$120 for this "cleaning"! I would call them out on this and they would then give me the runaround, saying things like, "oh, we're sorry and we'll get you paid on the next billing cycle." Well, they at times would reimburse me 60 or even 90 days later! Other times they would charge me $30 to change out a lightbulb!! Then when I would address this with my account rep they would say something idiotic like, "oh, it was a fancy bulb, which is why it costs so much." So I went to the local store and the bulb was $4.29! Then they would come back with, "oh, it's our labor charge." Then I would say but you guys were already there "cleaning", why the labor charge like that?! You see where I'm going with this. TO THOSE THINKING ABOUT USING THEM FOR RENTING A CABIN WHILE ON VACATION: Big Bear Vacations DOES NOT do a good job cleaning!!! I know from them representing my cabin (after a cleaning I would go check their work and would oftentimes (like 8 out of 10 times) have to call them to have them come out and RE-clean! I spoke about this with a neighbor of mine and she said she fired Big Bear Vacations due to the same thing! One of the parties that stayed at her cabin complained of bed bugs! I called Big Bear Vacations and told them that I'm looking into a class action lawsuit against them for fraudulent practices (if they were charging me money for services that were never rendered then I'm sure they were charging others for the same things). They told me they'd give me all my money back--but look at the most recent communication with them (two attached screenshots)--apparently they forgot they told me they'd give me my money. SMH TO THE BIG BEAR VACATIONS OWNERS: I'm filing a grievance with the city of Big Bear Lake and there's a good chance your practices will now be uncovered--I won't stop! read more

We made a reservation 67 months ago upon our arrival the cabin was dirty. Unkept beds weren't made matter fact there was no mattresses in the beds poor communication, poor Customer Service and overall we were unable to secure a cabin and we drove three hours with a large party and you would think booking 6-7 months in advance, the cabin would be ready. They sent a new link and that cabin wasn't available so now we're having to sleep in our cars, because everything is booked. My credit card was charged, but I did not receive the lease agreement until I contacted the company yesterday. Since then, I have experienced significant delays and inconsistent communication, and the company has not honored the insurance coverage or issued the expected refund.
