Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." I set up an appointment after confirming a few details about my house over the phone (like what type of roof shingles I had etc). They were pretty heavily booked so the first appointment I had was about two weeks out. On the day of install Manny came out, confirmed where I wanted the skylight put in, and gave me a rough time estimate. He also coordinated with some other contractors I had at the house doing work on my floor so that they would not interfere with each other, which was amazing that he was able to act as a go between. He got the work done in record time. It was a clean install, no problems, no messes, and he gave me a quick rundown on care (which is nothing) and then how I can address the solar nightlight that is in it once it needs to be replaced. I love the product and I love the company for how easy they made this happen. The cost of my skylight was $949 upfront - I think there was an extra cost if you use a credit card to pay but I paid in cash. I think for how bright my hallway is now that I can say it was worth the value.
