Bad Boys BBQ is a tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant located right beside the 7-11 on Rockwell and Britton. I wouldn't let the location or interior throw you off because this place has tasty BBQ at a fair price and is worth checking out. While I wouldn't recommend stopping by with a large group (there are a total of 6 seats inside with separate tables) I would recommend making a sandwich combo to-go order to see if it's to your liking. Service is quick and friendly, the meats were smoked nicely (though, my sliced Brisket was a little bit tough near the end), and the sides that I tried (baked beans and fried okra) were both very good. I remember seeing a sign outside that said Tuesdays and Wednesdays are $5 sandwich combo days. $5 for one of their sandwich combos is an absolute steal and should be reason enough to drop by if you're in the area. Bad Boys has two types of BBQ sauce: Original and Hot. The Original has more of a cider vinegar-y taste to it and the Hot has a sweeter and spicier kick to it. I would most definitely suggest you get the Hot instead of the Original if you're not too keen on vinegar-y type sauces. Also, it's spicy but not so spicy that you won't enjoy the rest of your food. Overall, good food and nice people. Check them out if you're in the area.

Excellent BBQ!! Even the cakes are delicious..its hidden behind the 7-11 so we had passed it the first time and had to turn around. The place smelled wonderful and the owner greeted us with a big smile as soon as we entered. We all ordered something different from the menu so we could sample. On the day we came his credit card machine wasn't working so my husband ran over to the 7-11 to use the ATM as my son and I waited at one of the only two tables inside. It looked as though most of the patrons ordered to go. The bbq sauce is not on the meat, you can tell them if you want mild or hot and add it yourself. My sons sandwich was missing the bottom bread and it seemed to be very messy but really good. Filled me up but my husband thought the portions could have been bigger for the price.

Food was excellent but permanently closed long ago. Building is now empty. Think this makes it the required 85 spaces.

Take out only because of Covid. Ribs and pulled pork were great. I will come back for more, one of the best in the area.

While some of the wording was different, I was able to order the exact same burger I fell in love with years ago and the flavor instantly sent me back to the first time I tried it. I ordered the MOB XL Burger Basket with Jalapenos, avocado, and loaded fries. The jalapenos here aren't just regular jalapenos. They are flavor country (also very hot). If you like spicy food, these are the best burger jalapenos in the city imo. My gf ordered the regular single with jalapenos and was annihilated by the spice. She's kind of a wimp when it comes to spice but she trucked through it because the flavors are so good. Long story short, this is still my fav burger in OKC (by a long shot). The fact that this place isn't always highly-rated in a state where people worship Whataburger and Braum's borders on absurdity. MOB is similar to Tucker's but better in every way. It absolutely annihilates S&B and the Garage in flavor. The only possible downside is if you want a tame burger, then sure this isn't the place for you. But if you are big into flavor, this place will take care of you better than your mama. Now that they have delivery options to my house, I will definitely experiment with the other menu items. Thanks Marco!

We watched people sing happy birthday w a giant slice of strawberry shortcake. Great portions! We ordered the judges plate and added the burnt ends along w a small side of sweet cream corn. The food! Cornbread was on point! Not grainy, overly sweet, or dry! Soft, not bitter. Champion beans are delicious, smoky, seasoned just right. Mac & cheese!!! OMG! It's just right!! Creamy, full flavor, and not bitter. Sweet cream corn, I mean, you should try it, ask for a small sample so you can decide! Burnt ends!!!! You cannot leave this place w/o trying them. We added it for an additional $4 and it was worth it! The brisket had a nice smoke ring, full of flavor. Soft and not dry at all! Juicy. The chicken fell off the bone. Tender. Well seasoned. The pull pork was perhaps my favorite. On its own it was delicious but adding some of the world champion sauce and the spicy sauce together just took it there!! Hands down, glad we made that turn and drove the extra 10m to this place on our way to California.

The burnt ends were delicious! The broccoli and the bbq beans didn't quite meet the mark for me though. But the cornbread and that whipped butter tied it all back together for me! Good thing for me, they are open on Sundays to take all my money (Let's be honest, I was throwing it at them). Okay, fine, I'll talk about the food... YUMMMM. Ordered the brisket & rib combo plate. Meat was falling off the bones and flavored to perfection. Comes with two sides - I got the above mentioned jalapeño corn bread & greens beans. Came with an unapologetically absurd amount of butter - aww, they know my love language. My favorite part is the chewy, sweet pieces of corn they add to the batter. Reminds me of Jiffy... IYKYK. Now the sauce - IMO Texas bbq style. Bold, red and perfect balance of sweet & tang. They allow 2 choices so I selected spicy and regular. Both highly recommended. Lastly, I tacked on a side of their green cabbage slaw; it couldn't be skipped. It indeed is green, has a great crunch and not too creamy. Overall - fantastic flavor, quick service & quality ingredients. My brother is a huge fan of ribs so you better believe I texted him pics to bait him into visiting soon. I had the combo with pulled pork and chopped brisket with sweet potatoes and collard greens. It was all good but that's it. The brisket was too greasy. The pulled pork was tasty. If you've ever had an Entenman' s or Freihofer's breakfast cheese danish-that is what it tasted like, but warmed up. Definitely not worth getting, unless you want a warm cheese danish versus actual bread pudding. I can't recommend going here when there are so many other options locally.

During a morning meeting today, my coworker stated that there is no good bbq in OKC. . . I had to prove him wrong. Arriving 30 min after opening, the line was packed. Hunger and anticipation was building. Went full out and got the Texas Trinity Platter. Pound of brisket, pound of ribs, 2 sausages, 2 sides, 2 hungry stomaches. A beautiful red sheen of a slight glaze on the ribs with flecks of black pepper that I could look at all day honestly. A sweet glaze that I was definitely the best rib I've had this trip. Not overpowering and chew of smoke with each bite. Such a wonderful brisket too. Spots like these always make me double take if I'm not in Texas. A wonderful pitch black bark absorbs all the smoke. A little bit on the saltier side on the initial bite, but balanced once the beef fat started flowing from between the meats. When I dived up the leftovers, I took ALL the slices from the flat. Such a meaty and beefy flat that was still juicy. So much so that I wasnt sure if it was the brisket or my drool. Between bites, I couldn't get enough of those pickles. Wonderfully vinegary and refreshing. I forgot to try the pickled onions because the cucumbers were sooooo good. I loved the flavors of the cheddar jalapeño sausage and the hot gut. The was a little bit more of a bite on the casing but tasted amazing. I'm literally sitting in my hotel right now eating it while typing this.
