Popped in for a quick bite before a meeting. You order from a kiosk and you can select dining in or out or to go. A very relaxed atmosphere and they have a PAC-MAN game. They have a full bar and ice cream. They offer breakfast on Saturday & Sunday. Good food, friendly service.

I want to like this place because we always need a go to burger joint. But if I get a burger with a flavored sauce like bourbon or horseradish I need to taste those FLAVORS! Meat was moist and juicy. Cooked perfectly. My last bite was sans bottom bun. Juices won that war. Still was a good meal. A little on the pricey side $35 burger fries beer.

So delicious came back for more the very next day, even considering placing a catering order for upcoming coming event. Service was excellent also! 10/10 highly recommend

Upon walking in there was no greet, no acknowledgement and they weren't busy... lots of workers to dine in customer ratio. Anywho the burgers are pretty pricey, but I did want to give them a shot anyways. They do have a food varity of diferent burgers and chicken sandwiches, they don't offer grilled chicken options either. You just have to request it...odd. My partner got the Shrlington hot and subbed it for grilled chicken. I got the hot and hefe, add mushrooms. We both wanted lettuce wraps which they didn't offer. Instead the cashier insisted a bowl...which we did not want. Not a salad bowl...just a lettuce wrap. Cajun fries was a must, we love cajun fries and always want to see what each place may taste like. They should definitely offer it being that a lot of people do low carb or keto. It's a corner spot with ample outdoor seating and a small 10 sitter bar. Taste? Shrlington hot? Not hot...very bland in my opinion. We rated it a 3/10. My burger? Super soggy like everything fell apart on first bite:( the taste was ok, but I would not do it again. 5/10. I just didn't understand why my burger was so wet...it was a big disappointment. Cajun fries with their chipotle sauce was amazing 10/10. Great flavor and perfect crisp! Overall i wasn't impressed, but will come back for the fries!

Went In Expecting "Good"... Left Shocked ‍... It Definitely Lives Up to the DAMN GOOD BURGER Name!!! BOYO IMPOSSIBLE BURGER -18 Served On A Super Soft Brioche Bun With Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Ketchup, Mustard, Avocado, & Sautéed Onions. So Delicious I'm Honestly Shocked. Flavorful, Juicy, & Didn't Feel Like A "Veggie" Compromise At All. I'm Still Thinking About How Juicy, Delicious & Tasty This Burger Was!!! FRIES $4 Just Okay. Not Bad, Not Amazing. They Did The Job But Didn't Steal The Show. I Wish Fries Were Handcut, Maybe That Would've Made a Difference. FOUNTAIN DRINKS & LEMONADE $4 Organic Brand, Not Super Sweet, & Felt Like A Healthier Option Compared To Typical Fountain Drinks. I Actually Can Appreciate The Route They Took In Being Different & Providing Better Quality Drinks. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly, Attentive, & Overall Good Customer Service, Definitely A Plus. PRICING Not Cheap Burgers, But Honestly Worth The Price For The Quality & Portion Size. They Need a Rewards Program Unless I'm Unaware Of It. Nice, Colorful Space With A Bar And Plenty Of Seating. Great For Casual Dining Or A Quick Hangout. Street Parking Nearby, But It's Metered, You'll Need To Pay By The Minute/Hour. Overall Take: The Impossible Burger Is The Star. Great Vibes, Solid Service, & A Worth-It Stop In Shirlington.

Big Buns is such a great spot. The food is always good, and the staff is honestly the best part. Everyone is super nice, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable right away. They're always smiling, helpful, and happy to help with anything. It's the kind of place where you enjoy being there, not just eating. Really good vibes all around. Definitely recommend and I'll for sure be back.

First time here, and was really craving a burger. I got the build your own burger option, and was pleased with the amount of options to customize your burger. I had a well done patty with Gruyère cheese, sautéed mushrooms, jalapeño, lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles, applewood bacon, and a side of fries. The burger was better than I could have imagined and definitely hit the spot to satisfy my burger cravings. The side of French fries were very good too. The fries were crisp and shoestring style. I def will come back here.

This place was quaint but definitely could feel the bring your crew here vibes. Still gotta get used to these QR code menus. The burger and truffle fries were absolutely packed full of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't skimp on the truffle cheese. But the MVP of the night was the Unicorn Float! I got a lady in the window who stopped to gaze at the glorious stead filled with sugar, twizzlers and marshmallows! The taste was as amazing as the aesthetics. It you're in the area or this town center definitely give this place a try!

My time at "Big Buns" was a very good experience. My granddaughter loved her kids meal & my food was enjoyable as well. I can't wait to come back to see Natalia & Aj. They both ROCK!!

Pretty great food for the cost of what I ate. Roughly $17 for a customized burger with a side of fries. I really enjoyed the angus burger but I appreciate the variety of proteins you can choose from. Service could improve as they're a bit slow when it comes to taking orders. Otherwise our food came out fairly quickly. It's a casual vibe with live music on Thursdays only for a temporary time.

My favorite parts about this place are 1) the gluten free buns, 2) the delicious sauces they offer for the burgers, and 3) the flavorful fries! I've eaten here multiple times now and have never been disappointed with the quality or quantity of the food, the service, or the ambiance. It's in a great area, too. Will continue eating here regularly, lol!

Super tasty burger joint in my favorite little neighborhood in the DMV! I absolutely loved the Oreo milkshake. Wow! The service was great, and the fries rocked too. I didn't *love* the burger; at its price point, I was hoping for a bigger patty and a richer, less stale bun. But it still had a great taste overall! I look forward to coming back here in the future.

Ambiance: (5/5) Great seating. It is very spacious. I liked the decor. Price: (4/5) Prices are average for the area. Food: (4/5) I enjoyed my burger and fries. The burger was cooked medium just as I had asked and the fries were crispy. I also like their soda options, similar to Cava. Service: (5/5) Great staff and food comes out quick.

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!

You can tell the owner is really into Superheroes. I ordered the grilled chicken. The good thing is that it is cooked to order. Loved that. Downside, no seasoning, AT ALL. This would be fine, I understand dietary considerations with sodium. What had me perplexed was they had NO PEPPER in the entire restaurant. I've NEVER been at a restaurant that didn't have any pepper. Plenty of salt, seasoned salt and even more salt. No pepper. Burgers seem to be popular. Wasn't very crowded, but seemed popular by locals. It was a "meh" for me. I do however really like that the food is cooked to order.

Well seasoned with a good crunch. The steak and cheese for me was a mixed bag...I saw my food coming and was dumbfounded by how big the bread was, and I didn't see any meat popping out. Pulled the sandwich open and saw what little meat I got. For $12.95, I feel a little ripped off. Especially when places like The Broiler and George's Steak and Things offer similar prices with an astoundingly higher meat in the meat to bread ratio. What little of the meat was available was delicious. I wish I had gotten a sub-$13 worth, not barely $7.65. Not sure I could come back. With how much I paid, it felt like a diminished return. And if I did come back, I'd hope the other offerings, like the breakfast sandwich, burger, and pulled pork, offer a better meat-to-bread ratio.

I was surprised by how empty it was for a holiday evening, actually just as strange by how vacant and empty the whole area was. This used to be a very busy area. I started with a White Russian milkshake and it was quite good. Again, that happy hour pricing really made it worth it. My meal was the chicken and biscuits. Large biscuits, fresh, with a little honey and hot drizzle. The hash browns were a tad dry and didn't quite fit the meal I thought, but the chicken biscuits were good. Enjoyed those. BUT one point that was quite annoying: THE GRAVY COST EXTRA! The server tried to upsell me with the sausage gravy (+$3) but when I asked if that cost extra he demurred and said it was just something they asked. He wouldn't actually confirm that. Not cool. I don't like being upsold like it's McDonalds. Eating off my friend's plate I also liked the french fries that came with his steak and cheese sandwich. We also had the cornbread appetizer. Again, if not for that happy hour pricing.. Cornbread is uber cheap so getting four fingers of cornbread felt.. well.. not quite a value match. Service was a little hit or miss. We had a lot of people helping us it seemed, kind of a divided table. Everything is there but I'm just not used to the inflation pricing. Milkshake, cornbread, and the chicken and biscuits, with 20% tip, came out to over $40. This kind of food, at this level of service, .. I feel like I was overcharged or not given the happy hour pricing on something. This just didn't feel like $40 for one person. And they want to do everything on the machine and you don't actually get a paper receipt or a bill unless you ask for one. Which you should. I guess bottom line: Ted's is expensive for it's class and offerings, so it makes a good date spot, but for regular eating out I think there are places better priced.

So, I ordered the regular Arctic char from the regular menu and my friend ordered the special menu for restaurant week. His gazpacho was the best I ever tasted! I believe it even had chunks of shrimp in it with scallions on top that added a nice crunch. Sadly, it's not on the regular menu. He too got the Arctic Char for his entree. The Arctic Char was delicious and the grains underneath with vegetables was yummy. There were small dollops of a wonderful mayonnaise type sauce that was perfect! I would definitely order that again. (The Arctic chart that came with the restaurant week menu was clearly smaller than my regular menu item. This is why I don't care for restaurant week. This is not a slight against the restaurant, all restaurants do this.) I asked for bread and they brought out some yummy Parker rolls baked in a little skillet with old bay butter. They were piping hot and just perfectly fluffy on the inside. They charge six dollars for it. This is a minor issue-- I probably wouldn't charge more than five dollars. Most restaurants don't offer bread at all anymore and if they do--they charge. They really should mention that they charge for the bread when customers asked for it. My friend chose strawberry ice cream for his dessert included in the restaurant week menu. It was just okay, but what can you expect? It was just ice cream. I ordered a wonderful special bourbon old-fashioned--it was delicious. He got a beer which was quite pricey at $13 for a beer. That seems a bit high. We had a wonderful waitress. Her name is Chante. She was delightful and added to our great experience. We sat outside under the cover because it was such a beautiful night we wanted to eat outside. The bar was really hopping and loud. The servers were friendly, professional and quick with the drinks. The atmosphere is modern, social and fun with upbeat music mixes. Definitely worth it for a social night out.

There was music, games and all the other diners. My server was pretty good but drinks and food was mediocre. WARNING-- if you're planning to order wings--just know that you only get 6 for $18 because the count isn't listed on the menu. I felt like I was taken advantage of because that's RIDICULOUS!!! I've never been charged that much for party wings, even at upscale restaurants. When my wings were sat down in a tiny bowl, I was livid.....I felt like it was highway robbery and definitely not worth the price. The only cool thing about this place was the free Photo Booth I noticed when leaving. It was free to take videos and pictures then send to your phone via text messages. I wouldn't recommend the food or drinks here because the price gouging is insane and there are way better places to eat and drink in the area. Also, there wasn't a Dj present because I kept hearing the same songs being played as if there was a playlist being played from a device of some sort. On a good note --the restrooms were pretty clean and they have board games to play on the first level where you enter at. It was ok, but I highly doubt I'd return.
