Sliders and The Bees Neez Tini!! First timer!! Ask for "Mahi" she was very nice, professional, and ready to work. This is my first time dining in H-Town. So far it is a great time and experience. For a Saturday night it was surprisingly not busy but who cares? I didnt. The service level was superb. There were 3 staff attending our small party. They were very helpful and polite. The dude with the Tatts and ball cap was making sure we had everything we needed. To me this place felt like a great venue for Sunday Funday Football. Good amount of TV's, the tables have plenty of space between eachother. The food! I ordered the "The Little Hacks" they were amazingly delish. Im a huge sliders fan! I also ordered "The Bees Neez Tini" that drink is now on my top 5 drinks of all time. I'm sure it is part of the house signature drinks, and I would go back just for that drink. Mixed review. First time in the new location. The old location we could walk to from the hotel. So sweet. The new location is larger and very nice. Parking is easier as there is more and it is more spread out. Service. Well we had a very sweet waitress who forgot to input one of the orders. Not sure what all was going on as there were only 6 of us. All the meals came out at different times. Mine came out first and I was done before the last two. Not sure what was up with that. But my shrimp tacos were delicious. Food was well received once we got it. They were no busy so not sure what the issues were. read more

As much as I completely love the location... This was not the greatest experience at all. I should've known from the few people who were dining in, that it was a red flag. This is a great spot for "all hours are happy hours". They have a good selection of beers and their cocktail menu was diverse. All of the mules were delicious! Their menu is a nice twist on classic bar food, and I'd highly recommend the scoundrel fries. The staff is very friendly in this super laidback establishment. Great prices on food and drinks... however, all the glasses the drinks came in were filthy. Whe addressed with waitstaff, they said their mimosa glasses are like 5hat sometimes (there was still lipstick on them) and she'd give us different glasses moving forward. I believe she gave us their whiskey glasses and they were still gross, but she gave us straws to drink Prosecco our of them. read more

The food was ok, but the service is the main reason for this review is the extremely poor service. We placed our order and 10-15 minutes later, the food arrives at our table. However, I was told they were out of pork, so I had to choose something else. By the time I received my meal, my wife and kids were done eating so I had to take it to go. Also, our server forgot the tots that were ordered for the table. I was told I would receive half off the burger that didn't reflect on the bill. Instead, I was promised a free beer the next time I come back. This could have been avoided if I was notified that they couldn't make pulled pork sliders right away, not when everyone receives their meal. Also, nothing was done to make it right. I wouldn't go back even if that "free beer" came with a meal. read more

Tonight was not our night. Stopped in for my daughter's birthday, 3 adults and 3 kids. My daughter orders a beer on tap, they are out of that kind so she ordered Dos Equis. My daughter and husband order sea bass, they only have one left and no asparagus for the side. The power flickered and they needed to reset before they could enter our order. No problem, Mother Nature. 20 minutes later we are still waiting on the beer. The kids all got Mac and cheese. They bring one, all the adult orders and by the time we are almost done we get the last 2 kid orders and my husbands side. The food was good. The table next to us cleared as we arrived and was still dirty when we left. Our waiter was nice but maybe spread a little thin running tables inside and out. The crawfish is disgusting, there was bugs... the flavor was terrible.. I have crawfish all over the city and this has been the worst ever. No frozen margaritas, and the margaritas on the rocks are watered down and weak. Sad to have wasted my time. read more

We had a great experience here tonight. Came on a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded at all. Their birria tacos are soooo good and fresh. We also ordered the wedge (delicious), Cesar salad and chimmichurri wrap. It was good but will try something else next time. We definitely plan to come back. Service was good. read more

I love having a restaurant nearby, but nothing about this place really blows you away. I personally enjoyed it better before they officially opened and grilled their burgers and steaks on the grill. There were only 2 parties in the restaurant and they put the second one in the booth next to us (side by side) when every other seat was open. Because I loved the scholars by Katy mills, I gave this one a shot MULTIPLE TIMES. Wait staff is slow, or maybe they are new? The last couple of times, it takes awhile to get drinks like 15 mins plus. If you're getting crawfish- even if it's not full wait time will be 30 mins + , I have seen people walk out because of this one separate occasions. We have dined here several times. They have live music which is fun and very spacious sitting. The service is pretty fast and friendly. The food is yummy and they serve it fresh and warm. I love their cocktails and spicy shrimp bags. I think they have kids play area on the side if you go here with children. They are kids friendly I think they do have menu for children. Food is good, service isn't bad. However the high chairs don't buckle... absolute nightmare. We said something about it after we tried 5 high chairs last time but I guess it wasn't important to them to get more or repair it. Needless to say dinner was fun with a 1.5 year old wallering all over the place... Will call and see if they buckle next time as this is a dumb ordeal to have to deal with. read more

Abysmal service if the restaurant goes past 50% capacity. Went on their steak night. AC broken. Seated at 6:00. Tried ordering main entrees at 6:30 (they run out of ribeyes (30% capacity)). I tell the waiter I need to figure out and that I need more time to look at the menu. Other tables flustered learning that like 20% of the menu was out. Heard tables nearby complaint amongst themselves about how the guy was rude and would tell everyone he didn't know anything about any food item. He disappears for 30 mins. 7:00 pm, He returns and I tell him what I want, "oh sorry we're out of that too". So I'm like what do you have. Gets an attitude when I ask him what cowboy butter is, what sides are available. I settle with a smoked sirloin and crab cakes. 7:30 pm five large groups arrive (60% capacity). Crab cakes arrive, not good taste by themselves, but edible with the sauce. As time passes I see ppl getting their food that ordered after us. (80% capacity) After waiting for 45 mins I ask what's going on, he says we're doing the best we can. Waiting Staff was running the show (no managers in sight). Everyone at my table gets their orders, except me (8:00 pm). Comes back 15 mins later I'm sorry we don't have any more sirloins, do you want chicken. Asked what happened, he simply shrugs and asks if I want the chicken again. I say I want nothing. Leaves says nothing. Being made to wait for over an hour to just be told we have nothing to offer you other than to wait another 45 mins in hopes of getting that. Waiter was just being oblivious and slightly rude with everything, didn't even offer to rectify anything. Staff was in the back arguing about which table would get their steak first. So I'm thinking my steak was given away to someone else. The steaks at the table were all basically between medium well and well done even though we all ordered medium rare. I tasted it from my gf's plate and it was tuff and dry. The cowboy butter was ass. But hey $10-12 steak can't complain on the price. I would suggest arriving at 5 pm if you want some edible steak. Overall it was TERRIBLE experience. Really need someone there to manage them because it seemed like they were winging it. Left hungry and disappointed. I support my fellow veteran owned businesses, but this place is a dumpster fire that doesn't live up to their main menu prices. They should rename it Michael E. The burger (Cheat Day) was good, and all ingredients were fresh but there is nowhere in which too customize burger so it came without condiments, and one slice of tomato, also know it was not a beefsteak lol. My mom ordered hangover burger, she thought it was very good. The tots were nothing special just frozen tots. The Potatoes balls inside, filling was tasty, the concept was a good thought, but it needed some sort of sauce. The mac and cheese was the worst I've ever tasted, they call it famous in the description, famously nasty..not a fan ....they should not make it anymore. read more

We went here on 5/24/25 at 6:30pm For dinner. The place was almost bare with customers. As the hostess walked us to our table, we had to step over a power cord running along the floor from a child's iPad that was sitting on an empty table and pluggged into a nearby outlet. We noticed 2 young boys (elementary school age) sitting alone at the counter with their meals and drink. We waited about 10 minutes at an extremely sticky table before one of the 2 wait staff came and relocated us to a better table. We requested 2 glasses of beer from the Draft Beer menu that had been given to us. The waiter told us the restaurant was completely out of all the draft beers. This seemed odd since it was 6:30 on a Saturday night and the Memorial Day weekend. So we ordered a bottle of beer and we placed our order for food. Our food was delivered to our table about 10 minutes later. We had to remind the waiter that we had not received our drinks. As our meal went on, the two young boys along with a much younger little girl (probably a sister) began to run around the restaurant and play at various tables. We came to realize that the children belonged to some of the wait staff because 2 Mom's began verbally scolding the children to stop what they were doing. The little girl began to cry loudly and the Mom walked away, leaving her next to our table carrying on. Needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience. It was obvious that the owner or manager was not at the restaurant while we were there. read more

Fun place to watch a game or just enjoy good food and drinks. The service was great and never had to get up and ask for anything. We had a couple appetizers and they were good sized portions and pretty tasty. They have a good menu selection of drinks and food so definitely a local place I will be visiting on a regular basis! read more

I have visited this restaraunt three times and today was absolutely ridiculous. When we came in there were kids running around the entire establishment and we noticed the family we THOUGHT they all belonged to checking out to leave, so we decided to sit down and eat. One of the children didn't leave. She was running around the building again, yelling quite loudly, and bothering other families with children by tempting them to run around with her, ultimately getting those children in trouble with their parents. We said a couple things out loud about wishing she would be quiet and about where her parents were, none of which were loud enough for the child to hear nor was it derogatory. We then asked or waitress whose child she was and complained about her behavior, to which she told us it was the bartender's daughter. We were visibly a little annoyed since that meant the child would be continuing to act that way, but decided to just eat because we had already drove 2 hours to eat there. Less than a minute later, the bartender came over seething with a terrible attitude and asked us if there was a problem, to which we responded that her daughter was being very loud and annoying. She then copped an even worse attitude and told us that we were not to speak to her daughter the way we "did" (which we weren't speaking to her daughter at all) and told us to leave. She complained that she was a single parent and she couldn't find a babysitter, but I'm sorry, that's not an excuse for you to not care how your child is acting in a public place, even more-so, your place of employeement. When we asked for a manager she claimed she was the manager and then we asked for the boss to which she refused their contact information and continued to tell us to get out. When we got up to leave she persisted at us, to which my father told her she was being unprofessional. She then proceeded to step-up in his face and call him names and cuss him out, calling him unprofessional as if he worked there, not her. He stood his ground not moving and when she got closer to him, another employee stepped in and yelled at him telling him not to get in a woman's face and treat her that way when he was simply standing his ground after being harrassed. This location and employees are an embarrassment to the establishment and I do NOT reccommend the Elyson location and very much reccomend the one in Katy! read more
