I enjoyed my visit to PO's Ice House which is a part of Creekwood Grill. They share the same menu in both buildings. PO's is a super chill and laidback bar atmosphere. A group of us found it easy to sit together and since you order ay the bar, separate checks worked out great! They only have one non-alcoholic beer option but lots of other beers and spirit choices. The menu has a good amount of options on it that would fit into a gluten free diet or could be modified. I got the brisket baked potato with extra butter and extra sour cream. It was ok. It was only after I ate everything that I realized it was missing BBQ sauce. That would have made it much better. The queso was good and the spinach artichoke dip was AMAZING! Creekwood Grill is a neighborhood family patio restaurant specializing in Burgers. It's nestled in a pocket of Cypress that still has that country feel. An outing with my grand niece and my wife and daughter. We started off with chips and queso and this stuff was addictive! I was worried about the chip to queso ratio, being left with too much queso and no chips. But it turned out perfect. My daughter had ordered a patty melt, my wife got a loaded baked potato and I ordered a Hot Bob with jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. Oh and a kid's cheeseburger for my grand niece (with pickles on the side for the wife.) First up the Little Mavericks cheeseburger. I didn't eat it and neither did my grand niece. No judgement I'm sure it was fine. My wife liked her baked potato and the pickles. I tried it and it's a baked potato. The large bits of bacon were very good. My Hot Bob with Pepper Jack cheese was delectable. The burger was juicy and sloppy but the bun held firm until the end. That's a perfect burger according my scale. The jalapeño and pepper jack added the perfect amount of heat. My daughter said the patty melt was good but Whataburger's is better. I tried a nibble and kind of agree, but I'll hold my opinion until I get a proper bite! The server was nice and accommodating and very attentive. She offered a "To Go" container for the uneaten Little Maverick cheeseburger before I even asked. Creekwood Grill is in my neighborhood. Super family friendly! This restaurant is huge with a big outdoor play area for the kids to run around. The food was good, mostly lunch-type entrees like burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The kids menu had a lot to offer as well. My Cobb salad was enormous, very filling, and you get a lot for what you pay for. My boys enjoyed their brisket baked potatoes and even said they would get it again. I would definitely come back with my family in the future!!! read more

Last night we had dinner at Creekwood Grill and had a really good experience. We waited for an indoor table because it was quite hot outside and there were many children on the outdoor playground-great if you have kids but that vibe is not what we were looking for. Instead, we were treated to live country music by Cody Taylor which was really good. There are many TVs showing sports (we even saw a huge projection screen outdoors showing the Astros-very cool!). We did have a long wait which was a bit confusing. We were told it would be a 60-90 minute wait at check in. But there weren't many people waiting as you would expect with that long of a wait. Were they outside? No idea. Our mobile check in said there were only 2 groups ahead of us. And there were empty tables so it was weird but maybe they didn't have staff-I'm not sure. In any event we decided to wait and enjoy drinks from the bar, which were good and not overpriced at all. And we enjoyed the music the entire time. Like a free concert! We were seated after only 40 minutes. Service was very attentive and our food was great. I had the BLAT with fried okra. Normally I don't like sandwiches for dinner but I love BLTs and Avocado, and it was served on Sourdough bread-a great combination. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which was good, And my son had the Mac attack which was a burger with Mac and cheese, bacon. lettuce, and mayo. I was surprised his name wasn't in parentheses on the menu because that is exactly how he likes his burger! Loved this spot. It's a great mix of things for both kids and adults. The outdoor playground is clean, shaded, and perfect for the little ones, while the indoor and outdoor bars have plenty of seating for the grown-ups. We came for lunch and tried the pretzels, burgers, catfish, and fried pickles. Everything was cooked well and came out quickly. Tiffany took great care of us and really made the visit special. We have been fans of Creekwood since they opened. I'm sad to say, no more. I ordered the BLAT and it was not up to expectations. I was with a friend, and did not want to complain. My bacon was almost raw. The Avacado was almost nonexistent. We ordered a blueberry cheesecake to share and the portion was half what it used to be. Last time I ordered fried fish and it was spicey when I wanted plain. There are too many good restaurants to try this again. The server was excellent. The food is very disappointing. read more

What a fun spot for the kiddos! They have a cute playground and outdoor section that is fenced in and a small indoor game room. Lots of seating and tv's for the sports fanatics. Open bar and lots of food choices. I had the chicken avo with sweet potato fries. Chicken portion was huge and the sandwich was pretty flavorful. I added grilled jalapeños to spice it up. Went to Creekside tonight for my 75 birthday dinner with my son and family. Last visit in May 2025 was great. Service was great. Tonight's Food was mediocre. Husband and I had the hill country burger. Was nothing like the one I had in May. Son's chicken fried steak looked like something pulled out of a bag. The meat was so thin you could barely see it for the disgusting breading. He wanted a steak but there was NO steak available? Really?? DIL had fish tacos. Wasn't very appealing or tasty. The service is pretty good but the food adequate. I had the fried pickles as a starter and they were longer pickle chips, which is how more fried pickles should be. For my main, I had the BBQ mac. Food is good but service is horrible. Been multiple times and have had problems. It could be a great place.

Upon entering we were told there was not any outside seating for 30-45 minutes, seconds later another party arrives and they walk them right out to the patio. Ummm......ok Took over 10 minutes for our sever to come over and take our order we had to get another server to bring us some water and a very warm beer. This is a place to let your kids run wild outside however the wait staff is very inexperienced. I would skip it unless you're desperate.
