First time customer, and I asked about getting a used tire (not exactly a big-time purchase). But Joe treated me very well. He worked with us to get a used tire on the rim, balanced, and ready to go. He got the tire out of the car, and when it was done, he put a bag over it and placed it back in the car. Especially noteworthy was the initiative that he exercised in giving us the tire for free, only asking that we come back and purchase tires from them in the future. My mom went to Big D tire to see if they could fix her tire after she had gone to a shop who has scammed her in the past, they said she needed a new tire and could not fix it, she then drove over to Big D tires and they said that it was actually fixable and fixed it for her within 15 minutes of us being there. I really could never say enough good things about this place. Every time I need them they are there to help with a friendly attitude and a smile. I will never go anywhere else for tires because I've been ripped off by nearly every other place I've gone and have never been treated as well as I've been treated at Big D. I've been going to this tire shop for over 7 years. Their prices are always good and they stand by their tires. I've gotten flat tires more times than I can count and they have always either patched my tire for free or for a few bucks if it's an older tire. They are always so welcoming when you walk in, always willing to strike up a conversation and will keep you updated through the whole tire change process. They do not take reservations and it is first come-first serve so I would just try to get there while everyone else is at work. Doing this can get you in and out within half an hour. read more

Hopefully this saves someone some head and heartache. I've been shopping for a new car and with that comes alot of stress. I had finally thought I found the right car and had planned to trade in my 2013 Q5. Now when I went to the dealership to trade my Q5 they told me my brand new snow tires wouldn't be worth anything and they would be discarded. With that being the case, I opted to have them removed as they were brand new (not even 2000 miles). I contacted Big D and they said they had an old used set they could put on. Having been a customer with Jim and Joe at Big D for many many years I decided to have them remove my snow tires. BIG MISTAKE!!!! First I was told it would be $60 and no sales tax if I paid cash, great. Then when I went to pay, with cash, I was charged $66 even. I walk out to my Q5 to find greasy hand prints all over the interior of my black leather, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I like my car to be clean, I take pride in my car. Not only was the interior covered in brown greasy hand prints but they weren't going to give me my snow tires. Why else would I pay $66 to have them removed!?!? I had to walk in the shop and collect them myself. Now when I got home and looked at the wheels I noticed they were scratched all the way around. Even deeply gouged in a couple places. This is simply unacceptable, I've provided pictures. I contacted them as any normal person would and the phone was answered by Jim. I began to explain my situation and he abruptly cut me off saying "that's not possible". I tried to explain to him that I had pictures of the wheels prior to bringing it in (due to many photo appraisals from trying to make a deal out of state) and he started yelling saying he did me a favor and it was "bull****". I hung up, as I'm not into arguing. I hope sharing this experience saves someone else the trouble and heartache they have caused me. Went to Big Ds to get my summer tires switched out to my winter tires and rebalanced. About a week later I noticed a shaking in my steering wheel and took it back in. The mechanic told me it was the steering wheel and not a tire / balance issue and to take to a mechanic. I did and they told me my balance was way off and weights were very corroded. These should have been replaced as part of the re balance. I called Big D and they offered to fix the issue but I declined. Everyone makes mistakes but Big D doing a sloppy balance job + blowing me off when I returned after noticing the issue, I'd rather eat the cost and pay someone more reputable to fix my vehicle. My tire warning light came on again - I could see a screw in the tire. Thought I'd give Big D another try - their location is so convenient. I went in without an appointment. They were very accommodating and friendly (as always). They couldn't find the screw, said it must have fallen out. They sealed the tires, said they were fine and kindly did not charge me anything. 3 days later the warning light is on AGAIN, I could see the screw was still in the tire. What the heck??? I don't understand why they can't seem to fix tires, when that is their specialty. It's so disappointing. The location is so convenient. But, once again, they didn't fix the problem. A friend stopped in and got a quote for me for a set of tires for my truck. I liked what I saw, called them up and he asked when I could get there and in less than an hour I left with a new set of tires. Mike was awesome to deal with, there was NO upsell, everything included was posted in their front desk area, and everything you'd want in a tire shop- free flat repair, free rotations, reset your sensors, etc, etc- was all included in the price. I just bought a new (used) car and noticed my driver and pasenger front tires were low. I added air, looked an hour later -- still low. So, I googled the problem and it turns out my car needs to have the tires resealed from time to time. So, seeing as I work in Orchard Park, my boss recommended to me that I try Big D. I called and they said they take people on a first come first serve basis, so I stopped right after work. They understood the problem and didnt try to upsell me on new tires, better tires, rims etc. Took the tires off, resealed them, filled them with Nitrogen and charged me $16. That alone is enough for me to take my car to them when I need four new tires. Well done, I'm a fan. read more

I've been here a year, but had to buy tires the first two months I was here for my car. They have been rotating as promised. After my wife had a mishap with a rock using our truck, I gave these guys a chance at that business too for one tire. They couldn't match the price but I chose to stay loyal as I wasn't going to complain about 35 bucks. They've kept their end of the bargain so far. I've had three cars serviced at Big D. No problems so far. They never tried to upswell me or soak me in any way. In fact I've gone there convinced I needed a new tire and they talked me out of it and did a very reasonable repair ($20). Today I took my brand new subaru with less than 5000 miles on it. I was loosing air and I couldn't find anything in it. Today is Veterans Day and it was mobbed when I dropped it off. They asked me if I bought the tires there (no, it's new) apologized and said it would be a two hour wait (the place I bought the car said they couldn't see me four 4 days). I left my phone number and went out with my family. I never got a call ( that's why it's not a five star review) but I went back about four hours later. They found a hunk of metal in the tire ... Took it out ... Plugged it. NO CHARGE That is well beyond expectations. if it was $20-$30 I'd still be pleased. They actually took care of my problem on a very busy day. Doing it free just confirms that Big D takes care of their customers. When I do need tires again this is the place I'll trust. Let's face it ... It's hard to get excited and write a glowing review about a tire place. But based on past experience it's not tough to find a tire place to complain about. Don't go anywhere else for tires! The nicest, knowledgeable guys. Never try to up sell you...and have quality, brand name products. They are very busy since they are so awesome. It seems most people there are returning customers. They are very honest about wait times and will have you come back later at a specific time instead of sitting there. So convenient! I had a nail in my tire and was told at my car dealer I would have to wait for 2-3 hours for them to "get to it." I told them that was crazy for a 20 minute repair. Did business with Big D a few times. Called yesterday to order 6 tires (2 different cars) Jim stated "I'll call you back in a few minutes". The day went by - no call back. Ordered the tires online thru Tire Rack because I had one car down. Called today to get installation pricing and was told "we don't install tires we don't sell". These guys are real, you will not be oversold. Had a flat today - roadside assistance came to my office and changed it to the donut spare. Went to BigD after work. I was greeted promptly and they took my vehicle right in. Turns out I had a rock in the flat - they plugged it, put it back on, put my spare back into its storage space and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. No charge!!!
