Customer service has gone downhill since I was last there a few years ago. I dropped off my '20 Jeep GC wheels for new tires and road force balancing. I stripped the wheel weights off, cleaned the inside of the rims and deflated the tires for them. I made the deal and paid a deposit Monday Oct. 28th. Dropped off the wheels Oct. 29th and was told they might be done by 4 pm Oct 30th. They had to get the tires from their Lockport store. I called them at 4 pm Oct. 30th to check status. Not done. Called back Thursday Oct 31st. I was told they have to get the tires from the Lockport store (???) and they will be done Friday Nov 1st in the morning. I called back at 12:30 Nov 1st to check status. They are working on them right now. At 2:30 they are finally done. I get them...take them home and mount them. I looked at the date codes just out of curiosity. Normally 4 tires would have matching or close dates codes. 2 tires matched (2124) 1 tire is (3323) 1 tire is (4623). So 2 tires have been sitting for 1 year and 2 tire were made this year 2024. No apologies, no discount for my inconvenience. I will never ever do business again nor trust Tread City Tires. read more

stopped in today for a used spare tire. Brad, the manager, explained there were no used ones in my size in the entire company. He offered to get me a reasonably priced one ASAP. This place is FANTASTIC. Very polite workers, and they even came out to my work to put my new tires on my car. They called me when they were on their way, when they got there, and when they were all done so that I could look over their work. Great tires, and the prices are good too. They were very helpful. They quoted a reasonable price for four tires, and put them on no problem. There barely was a wait at all. The guy at the front desk was nice as pie, and we were in and out without any issue at all. I have used Tread City for the past 10 years. Living in West Seneca it was quite a drive to North Tonawanda. The prices are better than those on the Internet. The best part is that the price they quote includes balancing and rotating at no extra charge. Recently I knocked the wheel of my new car pretty good and everyone and their brother (and my brother) told me that I would need to get my tires aligned. I called about eleven different places, and Billy quoted me the most reasonable rate and time frame. I stopped in this afternoon and after waiting no more than twenty minutes, he told me that I didn't have an alignment issue, rotated my tires, and sent me on my way. He was friendly, helpful, and didn't charge me. I couldn't have been more impressed, and I enthusiastically recommend this company for anyone looking to have tire work done. read more

Buying tires is never fun and they can be very expensive. I found myself needing all 4 tires replaced. I couldn't afford new tire prices but I was concerned that buying used I'd get duds. Enter Tread City Tire. After calling around to a few places they gave me the best price for used tires. They had good reviews and were very polite and professional on the phone. My tires had to be "ordered" but I was able to pay for them over the phone then come in the next day to have them put on. It's a small shop with only 2 workers there when I was in so the wait was longer then I anticipated. I watched several people come in while I waited and the guy at the desk was super helpful to each of them, answering questions and offering suggestions. They have multiple locations and some services can't be done at the Cheektowaga location (wheel alignments for example) but he did everything he could to get the customers set up so that their trip to the other locations would run smoothly. This was a good experience so the next time I'm in need of tire service I will definitely return. read more

I have gotten a numerous amount of tires for all my vehicles and trailers from them in the past. I've sent several friends there as well. Always a good experience until a new girl at the counter.... OMG , how ignorant can a person be. I've gone there five times since she's been there and every single time she was soooooooo RUDE! My friends that I sent there said the same thing. Didn't really like the lady working at the Cheektowaga location. mislead me, told me I needed low profile tires for my new rims which I did not as I spoke with the owner. So I was stuck with 40mm sidewalls which I wasn't in love with. Soon as I left I developed a bubble in a front tire, took it back and they put on a non matching tire for a few days until they found a match for me and replaced it for free.( was the best tire on the car too :( (8/32)........These tires were continental contipro contact... 10 months later I now have bubbles in 2 more of the tires. Cant help but think its the tires. I know there is prob no warranty but just sucks I paid almost $300 10 months ago and have to get new tires again. I would not suggest anyone buy used tires when you can get a new set for $440. so yea I have $740 invested in tires in 10 months. YAY.. read more
