I took my truck for two rear tires hundreds of dollars later, first of all It was a 4 hour wait after telling me a two hour wait. Then I picked up my truck liter drove 5 blocks to home. The next time I went to drive rear tire was a total flat . The guy was very rude said it was my fault of course tried to make me wait another four hours. Then when it was finally done he tossed a paper at me and walked away. I was so upset I just wanted out of there . I get to my truck and no keys in there so I walked back to the area and the guy insisted he gave them back to me. He refused to go ask the tech guys in garage area. So I walk out go outside around to garage area there's a mechanic walking around saying I found a set of keys in here luckily I heard him I yelled hi yes they're mine. Horrible experience all around . I'll never go back again . Rude ignorant service advisor his name is BD en .

Wife went in for a front end alignment for a 2009 Sienna fwd. Charged for a 4 wheel alignment. Cash discount? Sure. Disrespectful dumb asses taking advantage of women. The bill is $140 with tax. FOR PARTS ONLY. They're even ripping the state off for taxes if they even report the cash transaction. I don't know who's running this business now days but DON'T GO HERE or expect to be ripped off. If you know when you're being ripped off you may take a chance. Apparently it took them 15 minutes on the alignment machine after waiting 2+ hours. I'll be filing an online complaint with the NYS DMV. Hopefully these clones will be looking for work or Tread City is closed down.

They will not take responsibility for any damage they cause to your vehicle. Had winter tires put on last 3 seasons. Damage from last one. I didn't notice until dealership pointed it out that it was from their lift.

When I showed up it was an easy process to hand over my keys and get my new tires installed. They have a clean waiting area for customers with drink and snack vending machines. The process of them putting the tires on was nice and easy. They even wrapped my spare tire up and put it in the back of my jeep so I can keep it incase from the old tires. Didn't have to lift a finger. The only miniscule thing I can recommend to ask is what air pressure to make the tires especially for larger all terrain tires. They ended up over inflating my new tires which for me is a quick and easy fix.

BEWARE! SCAMMERS!…read more My car, a 2020 Subaru with less than 36miles, was making some scraping sound. I took my car in not thinking too much. I thought it was a minor issue and any mechanic would do. I was stopped at the red light and I saw this autoshop right in front of me, so I took my car. They seemed pleasant, very pleasant, making comments like "this is the best place to work!" I saw the owner, silver haired old man, walking around, keeping an eye. After two hours of waiting, the receptionist came back with her iPad and started showing me pictures of my brake and quoted me $1200, labor alone was priced at $463.00! Along, with the brakes, they had 9 other recommended services, which they said was urgent. All together, the additional service was another $3000. I was desperate and needed my car the next day for a trip, which I had shared with the receptionist. She told me they'll take great care of the car and even gave me some discount and automatically enrolled me in their loyalty program. While I was waiting, I saw three other customers enter the door. Two older men and one young woman. I picked up my car next morning and took it to another reputable place, Sweeneys Garage, and was told my brakes are good for few more months and all of the other work they highly recommended, I didn't need!! Do not go here. The silver hair old man is a scammer! This place preys on the vulnerable and is a prime example of rip off mechanics!!

Please think twice before bringing this company your business…read more I have no complaints about my initial interaction. I went to them to take advantage of their lease to own and got two tires, payments to be made weekly. Everyone was polite, process was quick. No complaints there. Before I get into my complaint I want to be completely transparent about a few things. First, I failed to thoroughly read the contract I signed. I figured I would have it paid off before I ever had to worry about the terms and that's on me. Second, I also failed to maintain my side of the agreement starting in April, 2025, more to come on that. Third, I am not here to claim they have done anything legally wrong. I'm not a lawyer and although I have suspicions this borders on the lines of predatory lending practices, I don't actually think they crossed any lines LEGALLY. As I said, I ended up not being able to make my weekly payments mid April. I had a few things happen in my life that I wasn't expecting and I decided that keeping a roof over my family's head and food on the table was more important than keeping the payments for the tires. There was only about $50 in payments left which means I was essentially paying off the remainder of the financing charges I had accrued. Mind you, I didn't ghost them. I kept in contact and made sure they knew I still had every intention of making the payments when I could, but I wasn't going to go hungry for them. During that time I received repeated text messages from them, which eventually turned into threats to make house calls that they did end up following through on in an attempt to intimidate me into a payment, even after I explained that I simply didn't have the money to make the payments, period, and that I would be making one as soon as I could. After this the threats from them got worse and more frequent. Not only were they threatening the house calls, but they were also threatening to recover the tires and made house calls in an attempt to do so. After being unsuccessful with the retrieval attempt, they proceeded to send me a text telling me that if I didn't make a payment they would be closing my account and filing a CIVIL LAWSUIT against me for breach of contract. Again, I'm fairly certain they were within their legal right to do all of this. My issue is the implications of their actions and the fact that they are willing to put their profits (not operating expenses, PROFITS) ahead of the wellbeing of a member of the community they do business in. Had they repossessed the tires, they would have taken away my ability to get to work effectively removing my ability to not only pick the payments back up, but also my ability to get to work, to the store or anything else without adding expenses to an already extensive list. If they had filed a civil lawsuit, they would have come after me for the remaining balance (about $75 at the time) plus whatever compounded interest/fees they would have tacked on AND any legal fees they saw fit, which would have done nothing short of financially ruining me for years to come. I brought all of this to their attention in plain English and they responded with the BS business cliche (and fallacy I might add) that "if every customer did this we couldn't offer payments." That's nonsense. My situation and whether or not they decide to repossess tires or file a civil lawsuit has no impact on anyone else, their payments or their likelihood to maintain their contracts. In addition to that, we're only talking about $75 in financing charges. Even IF I went no contact, completely defaulted and showed no interest in making the payments, that $75 becomes a tax write off at the end of the year and wouldn't impact their ability to continue to do business whatsoever. In my opinion, this company doesn't deserve the business of our community. We pride ourselves on being the "City of Good Neighbors" and a good neighbor doesn't bully, threaten and try and intimidate you by holding financial ruin over your head because you owe them $75 especially when it's blatantly obvious you're already going through an impossibly difficult time. Shame on you, RNR. I hope that $75 was worth it.
