Went here to get a tire and they destroyed my rim. Then had the audacity to tell me it was my fault. I will never again go to this place where the customer service is beyond terrible. I am very particular about the cleanliness of my car to the point of being anal. When I walked in the rim was clean and free of any scratches, when I got home, it was scratched beyond repair and covered in grease. There's European tired (uhh, mais oui, I need "une nappe"), and then there's American Tired (omg dude, I just ran 12 miles, cycled 25 miles, had sex for 6 hours with 2 different girls, and then hit the gym). If your tires are "American Tired" then go to American Tire. Of course there's a better place to get tires (Tucciarone in Clarence), but if that place is too booked up and packed out and wants to make you wait weeks for tires, as is often the case since they are so cheap, so honest, and so popular, then you should "hit" (proverbially) this place. They have excellent service, a very quick turnaround time (even if they are turning around, i.e. rotating, your tires... ha.... ha.....), and they're one of the cheapest places in town for both used and new tires. They're located in an iffy part of town, but it's perfectly safe inside and outside, and you'll be delighted with the work and even moreso the price. I will always recommend Tucciarone in Clarence above everyone else, but this place is definitely a 5-star place for tires too, basically doing what Fox & Fox used to do before they got a little more expensive and a little less reliable. I bet the dog has every right to get upset or rude not only the store clerk.. You live in NEW YORK we all know we pay taxes.. SO IF YOU ASK FOR A PRICE, and he told you $35 he didn't lie to you.. Because when you go into Macy's or a restaurant or a convenience store the TAX is never added to the price until you cash out.. So the store clerk has every right to get post off when you cannot understand common sense and you still want to argue why you paying the tax of it.. Common sense cannot be taught.. Every business or store clerk or worker will seem RUDE when you CANT HAVE IT YOUR WAY.. Even at BURGER KING YOU CANT HAVE IT YOUR WAY.. other than that $35 for a tire is GREAT PRICE, free installation, balance, stem and disposal.. IS what you call the PRICE IS RIGHT! you bring a tire to any shop they charge you $20 and $2 for disposal and $10 for balance, so what did he profit $3 oh wait the tire cost money too.. He probably lost on that, and you wanted him to pay for YOUR TAX.. I've always been taken care of for the last 7years i have been going there.. And he stole me as a customer of another shop the day i ran out of gas, HE TOLD HIS STAFF TO PUSH MY CAR INTO HIS LOT OUT OF TRAFFIC, SENT A WORKER TO GET GAS FOR THIS MOTHER OF 3, and i didnt have my purse on me.. and trust me I do customer service, if your rude be prepared for a taste of your own medicine.. read more

I don't even know where to start, I'm so disappointed in this place. I went here after I got my first car, someone suggested it and I didn't question it because I didn't know much about cars in the first place. I bought used tires. I had to go back a couple months later and buy another set of used tires. Within a week I had a flat-I was also 8 months pregnant just to preface...so I went back to them and ask them to fix it. But I didn't know which tire it was because they previously had completely messed up my tire sensor, putting them all over the place so I no longer knew which tire was which on the sensor. Which is annoying in itself, I asked them to fix that too, but they completely ignored that. I told him I thought the front left was the one that was flat but I didn't know for sure because of this problem, he said that he would have to charge me for any tire that he takes off even just to look at it, so I just said try the front left first. They pretended to fix the tire and let me drive away. But the sensor still sad that the same when I went in about, was still flat. I was livid because I don't know any business owner that lets an eight month pregnant girl drive off with a flat tire, knowing they didn't fix the problem. And if he had to charge me 10 more dollars to fix the actual problem that would've been fine. I called, and he handled it really well and said that he would fix it for free and I appreciated that. But this made me realize that buying used tires was not a good idea, so I spent $1000 on some real nice tires. I scheduled an appointment with a different tire shop for the same day we plan to go out of town. But when I showed up on time to my appointment at that shop, nobody that could actually fix a car was anywhere to be found, and the kid working the front desk told me that they wouldn't be back for 40 more minutes. Needless to say I was pissed, especially because it meant that I would have to go back to King Tire. But I just needed to get on the road already.. they were available to do it, it took rather quickly and that's how I know they weren't efficient because to this day a year later somethings wrong with my car. Nobody knows what's wrong, but ever since they touched my car again-the ABS light has been on, the traction sensor has been on and nobody knows what's wrong with it. I don't know what they possibly did to mess it up that bad-I truly don't know how or why... But I will never go back again. And you shouldn't either. Don't waste your time, or money- just go somewhere else. read more

The owner is literally Mental. Do Not go here. I was there to personally witness this guy's complete Unprofessionalism and total lack of customer service skills. The guy refused to sell me tires for simply asking a question and had the nerve to start yelling at me. I was actually referred to this place from the repair Shop around the corner from King Tires on William street... The guy was So frustrated and "in a hurry" that he showed me the wrong size tire, I attempted to tell him it was the wrong size and he misunderstood me - He proceeded to FLIP out on me in front of customers and employees there with everyone looking at him wondering why he's going NUTS.. I attempted Numerous times to CALM this MONSTER down and get the tire(s) I needed but He wouldn't let me get 3 words out before he began flipping out again saying He hasn't the time for this (my attempted questions) and eventually I became ANGRY and Began Giving his attitude right back. He's lucky I was calm that day and brushed off his antics ignoring his mental breakdown for having 3 customers arrive at the same time and he couldn't handle all of us and broke out into full Panic mode. I wouldn't trust this guy to change my cat litter let alone tires. I left there Immediately without buying anything and gave him a piece of my mind on his business skills. AND No.... This review is the FURTHEST from fake, the OWNER obviously remembers how he treated me and the specific situation and is avoiding a proper response to this REVIEW. Went in for a simple plug .. the owner was so rude! I asked for a plug showed him where said ok .. he took the truck on the lift and came back and said can't plug this because it's too close to the edge.. which it wasn't! and was like pay 15 dollars with out a plug which cost $15.00 or get a different tire wouldn't discuss price so I asked another employee who then asked the man and he said 35.00 so I said fine.. I waited for them to finish. When he came back in I asked if my card was being charged 35.00 he said yes! Then I got my receipt and it shows 38.06 I asked him why didn't he give me the true total and he started yelling at me u have to pay taxes well I know that when I handed you my card u said 35.00 was total he was irate and displeasing to deal with! If you just need a flat fixed or a cheap tire, this place MIGHT be ok. Do NOT be tempted to have anything else done. After an ok experience with a flat tire repair, I decided to let them install brakes that I got from Amazon. BIG MISTAKE! First, the work is done in a garage that you cannot see into. My car came back out with the brake light suddenly on! I told the owner, and he said "Well, maybe it was already on. I didn't look before the work was done." It wasn't on before. So he tells me to -- wait for it -- "Go buy some brake fluid and I'll pour it in." Why should I have to go buy something to fix their error?! When I got home, it got worse -- I noticed that my unidirectional, high performance rotors were installed on the wrong sides! Owner was no help, so I disputed the charge with my credit card. He then began mixing lies with truth, claiming that I asked for old parts to be returned (I didn't) and a host of other bizarre falsehoods, presumably to "pad" his "story." It was a nightmare, and they never corrected their mistake. Consider yourself advised. read more

And told I could make It to the gas station down the street when I didn't have any money on me. Keep in mind when I walked in they weren't doing anything and had no one in the shop. I am giving this rating because they tried to switch tires on me and it didn't work. I buy a pirelli tire because I was advised that was the best and the tread was great. Didn't have my rim for reasons and I come back the next day and they install a different tire. I didn't realize until the day after but I go back and as soon as I get out the car they know why I'm back. This tire was just the donut so it was easy to tell, it was on the back of the jeep. I had a picture of the original tire and the one they installed was Bridgestone but the tread was terrible. The owner and other attendant acted like it was a mistake and coincidentally there was another tire in the back room that matched my car perfectly and they installed that one instead. I watched two workers wheel my tire into the back room so I find that hard to believe. One of which was the owners nephew. I told them I don't see how mistakes like that could have been made. I have a jeep and there were only small cars on the lot when I had my tire installed. Mistakes do happen and if that was the case, they paid for it. Lost my business. I don't trust them after that, I didn't want the original tire or anything else but my money back and I got it plus my tip. read more

Nasty Attitude, Messed Up Customer Service, wanted to sell used raggedy tires with low tread for new tire pricing. You don't have to have an attitude, or force a certain set of tires on a person, all I asked for was a cheaper set of tires, not a F****** HandOut. Ended up purchasing from Big Moe's Tires down the street on Broadway & Bailey. Much better set of tires for almost half the price of this place. read more

I visited King Tires today to get 2 tires and was hoping they would have a set of high tread used tires in the size I needed. I was also having issues with my passenger rear tire losing air and thought maybe I should just get a set of 4 tires. The owner was great, he went to his reserve of used tires and had a set of 4 used medium tread tires or three high tread used tires. I didn't want to have one oddball 4th tire. He looked at my rear tires and noticed how they practically looked new and said you don't need rear tires and I'll have the guys look at what's causing the leak. I got 2 of the high tread used tires for $50 each installed and the rear tire just needed a new seal which was like $20. I was super pleased at the owners honesty and integrity. I was out the door in about 20 minutes which was great. I did come on a Tuesday at around noon or so and he did say weekends are busier so keep that in mind. Great place, great prices and honest ownership. I definitely recommend this shop for your tire needs. read more
